I get*
Stay awake for 120 hours and then sleep for 18-24, best possible cycle you could be on

Not OP, but I unironically considered trying this at one point. What have people's experiences been with this sleeping schedule?

or, I guess now that I read it again, I realize it's impossible, haha
The thing I had in mind though was staying up for a continuous 40 hours, then crashing for over 10 hours. I feel like it might be good for creative output after a while, but I wanna know the health side effects

For what purpose? For gains? For productivity? Both of those are going to suffer. Nothing good can come of forcing yourself to stay awake unless you have a really good life or death reason.

I think I thought of it back when I was in college and it made sense to do such a thing to get more homework done now that I think about it

Staying awake for 2 hrs and napping 15 minutes on repeat forever is probably what you were thinking of
Any science behind getting up as soon as you wake up?
Instead of going back to bed?
I wish I could stop myself from getting 12 hours every goddamn night. It's almost 5AM now and I'm browsing le 'Chon still. Gonna wake up at 5pm tomorrow fuck me sideways and call me Obama
