I already downloaded all the "Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark" audiobooks but these are 2 and a half hours in total. Any other suggestions?

I had an incredibly vivid dream last night where in these small (and incredibly fast) black worms were sprouting from my bedroom walls - in the dream a man I whose face is completely unknown to me (ive never seen him irl or movie or otherwise) told me that they live around people and feed off of ambition leaving the individual morose or lethargic as far as goals . Anyone have information on legends / cultural significance? I would usually just dismiss it as a strange dream but it was so clear and surreal that I cant stop thinking about it.

If you are around OP I'm willing to help research this info with you. At least technology speaking of course. I'm aware of how the previous UFO technology worked for example, not something that many people understand and for good reason. The picture is actually kind of related if you're familiar with Gregory Horror, but given that all things that involve suffering are associated with life and pretty much everyone who has an NDE or experience that shows them the other side describes the afterlife as a place of peace and love, devoid of physical pains, of sickness, aging, and loss.
Is life in itself an evil that we permit only out of fear? I myself am starting to think that being a spirit is the only way for us to be truly happy, thus we owe it to ourselves to really start thinking of questions as to whether or not Death is something to fear, but something to look forward to.
Clearly I do not advocate killing ourselves as that has horrible consequences in all world religions and I don't want to take the gamble of eternal damnation.... But... would humanity actually benifiet if we all became ghosts over night due to a mass extinction event?

I'm an experienced lucid dreamer. I'm pretty bored today, so I decided I would try to dispell bullshit around the concept of lucid dreaming on here.
Ask me anything. I'm willing and (hopefully) able to answer almost any questions regarding lucid dreams, dreams in general and perhaps even help you get lucid. Induction techniques, dream control, purpose of lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, scientific background, you name it.
I can also delve into more controversial subjects such as astral projection, shared dreams etc., but I have to warn you that I'm extremely skeptical.
Not sure what a lucid dream is? A lucid dream is simply a dream in which you know you are dreaming while you are still inside the dream.
Why should you try it? Because it's better than spending one third of your life lying unconscious.

I'm trying to lrn2lucid dream by using guided meditations. At some point during the GM before sleep hits all the way I kinda slip down I guess i could say and start experiencing visual hallucinations of fractals and faint, cartoony scenery. Is this normal and a good sign or nah?

Does anyone dabble in dream interpretation?
Last night I dreamt that I was in a pool with my ex and her sister. She dropped something so I dove to the bottom to get it. It was money and jewelry around her feet. I scooped it up and brought it to her at the surface. She said something sweet like " oh thank you baby! " And then I woke up.
Now I have been trying to get her back for a while and its been a rollercoaster of almost being back to times like now were she is super pissed.
She has serious money problems (part of which is my fault) but i have been helping her alot with that.
Thoughts?

Hey /x/ is there someone to "translate" this dream for me, pls!
Had a verry intense dream about some dog fighting with me or even two dogs, agressive types like pits but pits on steroids, deamon like pit bulls (like this in the pic), one bite my fingers and I slaughtered them with a knife in frenzy mad mode, seriously bizzare scene that makes you wake up with 200HR in a cold sweat and cant sleap anymore!
Interesting thing is that I know it was right hand and no fingers only blood but when I looked again in despair I saw almost healed hand with fingers damaged but in fast healing process.
Pls give me some answer if there is anyone that knows something more about a dreams, I googled it and I was a really accurate explonation, my gf and I are breaking up, I am moving away etc but we are still questining ourselfs, this dream was 10000% MESSAGE to me, I am serious.

If there is such a creature as Death, it would seem a very intimate job to take. Hes like the last person you see with your dying breath (some say even a bit earlier) and the first person you see in the afterlife. Imagine the torrent of emotions we all undergo during this moment. Being there for someone to assist them in the most traumatic experience-passage (assuming there is one) would require someone with such almost incomprehensible and unconditional empathy. I imagine he would experience the death of every mortal he helps, as his own. I do not envy him as a character or profession but i rather admire the perspective granted to him.
