What are your thoughts on "psychic vampirism"? Do you think that through practice you can transition to actual vampirism?
why would you need to transition?
They are one in the same. Ritual is part of it. Vampires are real but they're not spoopy monsters, this practice is very traditional among the elite of the day. Think "virgin" sacrifice and the phenomena of the huge number of missing children under strange circumstances. Purely psychic vampirism without an esoteric background is plebe mode certainly

No. Psionics cannot affect the real world.
Alright, so I found this on a website for spooky shit in GTA 5. I found this today, depicting a goatman. This is the story.
"I know by the sound of the name you're already declaring this as bull shit, but trust me, you have to see it to believe it. Let me tell you the story. I was playing GTA Online and I was talking to this guy I just met. He too, was a myth hunter so we were talking about GTA V myths when he told me he discovered a new one. He said that he once saw the "Goatman". When I first heard him I thought he was full of B.S. but I entertained him and let him take me to the place where he claimed he saw it. He drove me to an old bridge. Its on that trail that leads to Cape Catfish. So I looked around and it looked pretty ordinary - just a bridge built over a dried streambed. He said he was driving down the road (in singleplayer playing as Michael) when he saw a figure in his headlights. He turned them to high beams and saw a horrifying goat humanoid. He quickly took out his phone and took a pic and uploaded it to the R* social club. He said by then it ran under the bridge and towards the ocean. By the time he reached the railing he said it was gone.
So I then went on the R* Social Club to see this pic. When I saw it I was flabbergasted. There is no doubt in my mind that this isn't real. Afterwards I looked more into what the Goatman is and it turns out there is a real legend. The Goatman is a cryptic that is said to inhabit an old bridge in Maryland. The real life bridge looks identical to the one in GTA V. I looked more into this relating to GTA V and came up with a video that that depicts a visible goat face in ocean foam that was found not too far from this guy's sighting.
I asked him if it were okay to mention his usertag on ths wiki but he told me he "wants his privacy". So I'm going to respect his wishes."
Looks like a hoax desu.

>I asked him if it were okay to mention his usertag on ths wiki but he told me he "wants his privacy". So I'm going to respect his wishes."
I zoomed in as far as I fucking could and god damn look at that shop work.
The answer you've been seeking, who nagged at the back of your mind and always makes you wonder
Stop seeking it, that is the answer. No time to explain, just trust me.

Too late you've already entered
Eternal waiting in limbo, not allowed to enter heaven or hell. Trapped with nothing but your mind
Your body was given to your mind temporarily, but in a short period of time your mind will be removed from it via death and your mind will be in limbo
The moment before you die you will experience a moment of eternity. Your time experience parameter will be asymptotically slowed due to a lack of brain activity and that single moment before death will last an eternity of thoughtless yes simultaneously conscious experience.

why
Wow, I've been wondering for years how many mods are on /x/ and your image really did provide all the answers. Thanks, OP.
The other day someone posted the first issue of Crossed, a horror comic about zombies + murder rape. It got allot of attention and allot of you fuckers were asking for more so I decided to find the next few issues online. I'll be posting the next issue and maybe the one after if I feel up to it. Here's the link if anyone wants to read ahead.
http://readcomiconline.to/Comic/Crossed
If this gets enough attention I'll make a daily thing out of it.
Happy reading /x/
what is their significance in traditional / folk magic?

I dunno something with faeries probably

Go look up Hitler's psychic and the mandrake root.
that's some crazy stuff, wow
Can anyone else relate to these thoughts?
When I think about life and death, the nature of reality, etc it seems to me that the whole world is paralyzed by uncertainty.
What I mean by this is that because there's so many belief systems and theories about life and death and the nature of reality, all of them contradicting each other or inherently contradictory, we're left in limbo, we're left paralyzed, without a solid basis and solid view of life from which we can act and live in an informed way.
Instead, we go through live basically tending first and foremost to our immediate survival needs and daily tasks, while ignoring religion and philosophy and science until we have time to sit down and think about it, at which point we inevitably end up paralyzed in uncertainty or we take the leap of faith and believe in one theory over all others, often without any proof, and this lasts as long as we can manage before doubts creep in and shatter our certain faith.
In our times especially there is a strong effort propagandizing the views of materialism, that we have one life, that brain death is the end, that all religious notions are nonsense, and this becomes our default view that we return to when doubts about our faith creep in.
How do you personally deal with this issue?
Create your own.
>>17975704
maybe try lots of different things at random 'til something works?
>>17975713
>>17975715
Lots of things "work", including creating your own religion/philosophy/theory of life, if by "work" you mean give you a sense of purpose and meaning and direction in your life, but for serious truth seekers, the issue of self-deception is a serious consideration. Do you want to fool yourself or confront the truth about reality? Anyone seeking the truth would not settle with blind faith, whether that's in religion or scientific materialism.
The question is, how do we deal with this paralyzing uncertainty that plagues us throughout our lives? The different beliefs and theories are often so different and contradictory that following one entails a completely different mode of living than the other. It takes supreme confidence in the validity of that belief to truly support such a shift in one's mode of living, otherwise it will be half-hearted and inauthentic and we again fall back on the default mode belief (nihilistic materialism; nothing really matters, it's all bullshit, just live and enjoy and die).
What does /x/ think of these guys

We don't.

Aaron

I don't come to /x/ often, and I don't believe in these things, but this just happened, and I'm kind of paranoid. No roleplaying bullshint.
>walking home at around 1:30 AM
>shitty part of small town
>nobody on the streets, no good lighting
>see a playing card on the ground
>jokingly think it will be a queen of spades for some reason
>flip it over and it was
>kind of spooked, but I continue walking
>10 minutes later I hear some weird moaning
>at first think it's a cat, but then realize it sounds so alien, can't even compare it to anything
>stay there for a minute and it stops
>continue walking
>all of a sudden I notice a figure leaning against a building in the distance
>kind of like a sitting corpse
>on the only spot that has some light, just like in a movie
>usually not a pussy, but I start getting super scared
>chilled behind a wall for a sec to see if something happens
>suddenly it gets up and starts walking around like a zombie
>saying weird words can't understand
>I can only make out a few words here and there
>home
>help
>queen
>spades
>it's a woman
>I try to think rationally and assume she's drunk/retarded/on drugs/crazy
>wanted to man up and go ask her if she's ok
>pussied out
>called the 911 equivalent in my country
>explain there's a weird woman moaning and asking for help
>they sound like I'm joking around
>uhhh we'lll uhhh, send a police car over there to check
>it's a small town so it should take like 5 minutes
>I wait for a bit
>she crawls behind the corner
>can't hear her or see her anymore
>pussy out and took the long way home
>no police showed up, I don't think they ever did
All /x/ things aside I just feel like a horrible person for not going up to her trying to help, because I got too shook up by the queen of spades thing like a pussy. Can't help but feel I should have helped.
Buy a car

One day when I was in high school I glanced out the window and saw a green ball of light falling down at at an angle towards the ground. I only caught a glimpse of it before it disappeared behind the other side of the building, since the window had a view of an open courtyard in the center of the school. It looked like if it was a solid object it would have landed across the street from the school and onto the property someone who went to the same school as me, I told a bunch of people about it as soon as I saw it, but I never heard about anything strange landing in the town anywhere or anything like that. After looking it up I heard about ball lightning and it seems like the most plausible explanation, it was a pretty clear sunny day with little to no clouds in the sky in the middle of february, we recently had a big blizzard that left like over a foot of snow on the ground, if anyone is interested in what the weather was like that day.
>>17975457
these are just merkabas
There is a who website dedicated the it with reports leading back to the 40's. Haven't been there in awhile so I forget the name but look it up on google. I used to be obsessed with it years ago and would go to a copper rich river next to a iron filled scree field (large natural battery/geomagnetic field) during thunderstorms in hopes of seeing it
Anyone know what this weird ad is about? Seems that the video is private.
adding this because this book was being advertised too
>>17975397

Is there a darker side to the GIA?
>>17975328
I'd say that a marketing firm employing little girls as agents to get other little girls to get their parents to buy them shit is about as dark as it gets.
Here is an excerpt from “Globalization and the Commercialization of Childhood” by child psychologist Allen Kanner:
The Girls Intelligence Agency (GIA) is a relatively new American company that offers the services of its 40,000 “agents”—girls aged six to eighteen—to corporate customers that want to create a buzz for their products. GIA recruits these girls from around the country by inviting them to become an “official GIA agent” of a “very elite group.” The girls are given exclusive offers for products, events, and free online fashion consultation with Agent Kiki, a supposed “big sis” who in fact is the GIA staff providing answers to the girls’ email questions. The hallmark of GIA is its “Slumber Party in a Box,” in which a GIA girl invites up to eleven friends for an overnight party at which she passes out free products—toys, cosmetics, films, and the like—while taking notes for GIA on her friends’ reactions. She does not tell them that the event is sponsored. In fact, GIA instructs the girls to “be slick and find out some sly scoop on your friends,” such as what they think is currently fashionable.
There’s so much wrong with this picture that it’s hard to know where to start: large corporations teaching girls to manipulate their friends for profit, parents going along with it, the girls being used as consultants for a pittance (they get to keep product samples but don’t get paid), GIA lying to its young agents about Agent Kiki, the company recruiting girls by playing to their need to be recognized as special when in fact the girls are being used and deceived.

What should I know before watching Eyes Wide Shut?
>>17975296
I like it but it's long. Just watch it.
it's a good film
please don't come back to this thread or i'll spoil all the good bits
just watch it
might have to watch it more than once
>>17975296
Know that it's a movie that is vague enough in what it depicts that it allows every dipshit with a tinfoil hat to superimpose their own personal conspiracy theories onto it. Kind of like the predictions of Nostradamus.
It's good for what it is. Enjoy it, but don't be a bitch about it like 90% of this board.
a friend of mine took this photo of his kid in chiloe - chile, she didnt notice that wierd figure in it until they left the place, to make it more cliche the island of chiloe they took the photo is like a cementery island called and im not joking here the island of the lost souls "la isla de las almas perdidas"
any thought about it?
