Hi /x
Can you please provide some insight on Rasputin. Was he human, demon, a bit of both?
Any powers he was thought to have?
Thanks.
A.Leaf

He was a crazy awesome drunken russian dude
Wish I could go back I'm time and meet him. Personally if you look I to his back story he was never a typical human at any point in his life.
>>17977710
What was supernatural about Rasputin was that he was a Russian Orthodoc Christian
Is it possible to sell my soul? How much is it worth? How long do I live afterwards?

New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already.
Some readers will refuse to do certain readings -- respect that choice. Also, bullshit queries will get bullshit answers.
An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer!

What is the value of knowing your totem animal? I mean, except the fact that it's cool, what knowledge can it bring to your life?
How do I figure out my totem animal?
>>17977247
I don't know the actual way to figure it out. I found mine because it was too obvious in my dreams, hallucinations and a few trips I had.
>>17977239
I want to know my totem animal, too. Thing is, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to do some fucking hairy things first. I mean, I'm going have to get rid of this western mentality, then figure out how to make peace with my family in a way that they know I'll be distant- but not know why. Then I'm actually going to have to figure out how this is going to fit into my life. And, I'm hoping, it will be a whole new life. Nothing critical at first, just sensory things, I'm guessing.
So I was reading about the Anti-Life Equation and the Despair Code.... why is it a bad idea to read the equation out loud? I did it and I don't get it. The equation makes sense to me and nothing bad has happened. Can someone explain this to me?

Is there a "legit" book on controlling the subconscious and/or accessing it?
I went to bookstore and found little.
I googled and the results I found were trying too hard and using pseudo-science to describe what is basically the sympathetic nervous system.
I don't actually care if it's "real" science just so long as it isn't BS mumbo jumbo.
So is this the board to ask? Anyone?
You ever read Jung?
>>17976702
Never heard of it. This one?
http://www.carl-jung.net/collective_unconscious.html
>>17976711
Carl Jung is a prominent figure in psychology and basically laid the groundwork for subconscious archetypes. I highly recommend reading his works, start with Red Book, to get an understanding of modern concepts of the subconscious
Is hell real, is it a state of mind? Is it located within earth? Or does it exist on its own plane?
>>17976564
Heaven and Hell don't exist. There's only an infinite number of mirror universes that all exist in the same place but operate at different frequencies, and only sometimes do we interact with those universes through breaks in space and time, hence "spirits and ghosts" are actually people from those mirror universes going about their lives.
>>17978951
Some of thoose universe's are heavelly Kingdom's, and then next right to Hell .

Talking on the phone with friend when someone knocks on my door. When I go to answer, it's a younger man and women dressed in casual business attire. I assume they're here to either sell me google fiber or try and get to go to their church. I answer the door and just stare at them for a solid minute waiting for them to pitch so I can tell them to go away. They just stare back until I shoot them a look like let's hear it. The male shows me his phone and asks if I've seen this man before. It's some fat middle aged white guy in the pic sitting on a couch with a button up shirt unbuttoned. My immediate impression of this guy is don't trust him or leave your kids around him and avoid association, he might steal from you. I read people like this.
I try to hold the phone so I can see the pic and try and Identify whether I've seen him before but the guy pulls his hand back avoiding me touching his phone, So I ask "can I hold the phone so I can look at the pic?" he just says no. This pissed me off because you're knocking at my door with weird bullshit and I`m trying to help. I dunno wtf the deal is, like he assumes I just sit and wait for retards like this to steal phones from. I`m also getting a super weird vibe from the guy in the pic and the people at my door. I say "look your asking me to look at a pic and see If I know this guy but I can't see the pic. Then the guy looks down and says hold on and scans to a new pic. At this point I hope this guy raped them and gave them aids and I could give a shit less about helping them find the guy who gave them aids.
The next pic is a text about how I can't use my wifi. I`m trying to read this for a sec and make sense while this cockgoblin bounces his phone up and down and start assuming this is some fucked shit about google fiber fucking my internet until I switch to them when I realized this is a message to this dipshit about his phone. (cont.)
>>17976384
So relieved I say it's nothing and tell him to look at his phone and half laugh it off saying I was reading his phone message. They stare back like OP pic. They guy looks at his phone and says oh, then fiddles with it and presents the same pic he started this with. at this point I should have told them to get off my porch I`m not helping; But I was kind of taken off guard by the situation with how weird they where acting and was a bit curious on what this was about or whether I recognized the guy in the pic. So, I maneuvered my head this time in acceptance that I was not allowed to touch the phone and studied the pic to try and determine If I`d ever seen this guy and memorize his face. I then said I never saw the guy in my life. They both took a sec. to gauge truthfulness and without explanation to any of this said ok and walked off.
Now here's the thing. This guy in the pic is white. There's no white people that live around here and there's absolutely no reason to assume I know anybody. These two people where too young to be officials, unless they where detectives on someone handing out STD's from the health dept. It was my assumption he had scorned somebody or done harm based on his pic and especially their attitude toward me. Kind of an accusatory we don't like you even though we're complete randoms bothering you for help.
I let them walk closed the door. grabbed my phone and asked my friend if he heard this shit. Then grabbed a cigarette and went outside to demand answers, hoping they`re canvassing the neighborhood. Unfortunately they're gone and it's obvious they are targeting my house directly for their unofficial manhunt.
The fucK? this creeped me out and I get homeless people banging on my door for rides at midnight when they get cold and don't get creeped. Partially because I`m strapped when I answer the door.
any thoughts or stories of creepy door to doors?

TL;DR Don Juan's teachings.
Really entertaining reads. I've only gotten through The Eagle's Gift and The Fire From Within, though, because reading some of this shit in either English or Spanish always destroys my sides, so I gotta go slow.
>In an ugly gruff tone, the woman asked me why I was staring at her vagina. I did not know what to say except to deny it. She stood up and seemed about to hit me. She demanded that I tell her that I had gaped at her because I had never seen a vagina in my life. I felt guilty. I was thoroughly embarrassed and also annoyed at having been caught in such a situation.
>The woman asked don Juan what kind of Nagual I was if I had never seen a vagina. She began repeating this over and over, yelling it at the top of her voice. She ran around the room and stopped by the chair where the other woman was sitting. She shook her by the shoulders and, pointing at me, said that I was a man who had never seen a vagina in his whole life. She laughed and taunted me.
>I was mortified. I felt that don Juan should have done something to save me from that humiliation. I remembered that he had told me these women were quite mad. He had understated it; this woman was ready for an institution. I looked at don Juan for support and advice. He looked away. He seemed to be equally at a loss, although I thought I caught a malicious smile, which he quickly hid by turning his head.
>The woman lay down on her back and pulled up her skirt, and commanded me to look to my heart's content instead of sneaking glances. My face must have been red, judging by the heat in my head and neck. I was so annoyed that I almost lost control.
>>17976364
I'll post some more crazy shit:
>The moment she crossed the line, don Juan took a prodigious jump and glided over the roof of the house. The Nagual woman said that he flew like a huge boomerang. When he landed next to her she fell on her back.
tfw a Mexican double-jumps a house
>"Hey, Pablito, tell the Maestro about our doubles," he said laughing.
>Pablito reached across the table and shook Benigno.
>"You tell him, Benigno," he said. "Better yet, show it to him."
>Benigno stood up, opened his eyes as wide as he could and looked at the roof, then he pulled down his pants and showed me his penis.
>The Genaros went wild with laughter.
So what did /x/ think of this tulpa movie?l
6.5/10
Movie was ok. The sandniggers sitting behind me with their two bastards talking at full volume sucked tho.
>>17976521
Care to elaborate on your rating? I agree with it. I feel like a lot of people are going to think the creature is a ghost and be confused by the ending.
>>17976326
I really want to see this. Maybe there's a decent cam rip out there.
What is /x/'s opinion on Wicca? I am currently a pagan polytheist with ancestor worship. Would Wicca be a good fit for me? I would lean toward Alexandrian or possibly Gardenerian?
>>17976241
Do people often complain you come as pretentious?
Do you have no desire to learn about things around you, and instead go off the first thing anyone tells you?
>>17976250
No, at least not to my face. I like to learn, and I am intrested in the occult. I heard Wicca was good as a entrance into it.
>>17976275
It's not for you then. Find a path not sold at Chapters
Do you know what I hate?
This damn Slenderman hype that started like 4 years ago with that stupid little game.
I remember a time when I was casually brownsing the web when I suddenly read about this eerie creature with long arms and no face and I saw those shopped pictures and Marble Hornets and it was believable! It was underground and a bit hard to find which made it even more creepy.
But then one fateful day someone decided to make Slenderman so popular and well known he's not even scary anymore.
My question is: Do you know any not so well known urban legend that will give me this exciting feeling I had when I discovered Slenderman?
>>17976230
Actually it started with marble hornets...which was an idea basically stolen from a forum
>>17976242
I know. If I remember correctly Slenderman was first seen on Something Awful. But my point is that he has become way too popular after the game was released. I guess because of people like Pewdiepie and Markiplier.
>>17976230
No, because what made you like slenderman is that you started seeing it more. Then it hit critical mass, and started to suck.
Always Watching is a pretty good movie to check out, if you keep pre existing knowledge out of it
I had a weird experience a few minutes ago and I want to hear the opinion of /x/philes.
I was on my bed using the phone posting in another board and I got lost in thought and in a sort of automatic reflex, moved my head facing the wall. After about a minute, I felt that I could not move and every noise around me intensified as it was all going to be compressed inside my head, I came out of it after like 5 seconds and jerked my head trying to understand what the fuck just happened. ? Was I spiritually attacked?
I'm a bit shocked and would like to know.
Sleep paralysis hit you when you were between wakefulness and sleep.
>>17976234
It couldn't had been sleep paralysis because I wasn't sleeping or trying to, I was reading a thread and was very conscious. It was out of nowhere that I felt the noise becoming extremely heavy and intensyfing, until I napped out of it. It felt like I had some cables or was being hold by wires, it was bizzare.
I have no idea what the board culture of /x/, but i want to know if fellow anons have heard of what i witnessed before.
I'll give you a TL;DR
> drive usual route home after work in a pretty populated suburban area
> one part of road there is a field where over something in the sky catches my eye
> a sudden blueish white ligh appears in the sky
> the light has a slight halo to it, it dives from high altitude and levels out as it nears the ground in the matter of 1 or 2 seconds
> as it levels out the light extinguishes
Any UFOs like these seen before. The motion it did to lower altitude and its sudden change in speed is just not possible with human technology as far as I know.
So you're positive it wasn't a meteor slowing down as it cut through the atmosphere
Didn't read but have a bump for those who will.
