To an extent. Certainly, a lot of systems of occult thought give dualities an undue amount of attention. In particular, I would say that the major writings on chaos magic focus far too much on it for a magic theory that is based around freeing oneself from preconceptions.
That being said, dualities do exist, and are important, but they are often what we make of them. Take the elements, for example. We tend to think of fire and water as opposed elements, and there are a lot of reasons to do so, which have been elaborated upon in enough sources that it's unnecessary to reiterate them here. But we can also make a case for earth as the opposite of fire, in that fire is the most active element and earth the most passive. Even fire and air could be considered opposites in that they represent different and opposing types of opposing principles. Similar arguments can be applied to other combinations of elements.

I know supernatural is a fictional show. But I wonder if some things are real, like the burning bodies for instance. I had a lot of paranormal activity in my house when my dog died. Seeing her in the shadows and hearing her. Then it all stopped when she was cremated. I for one believe burning a body does something. Does anyone else have experience with this? Is some of the rules like a line of salt taken from real life?

So has anyone heard about whats going on with Marina Joyce and how some people claims shes being kidnapped, others say shes schizo, others that shes being beaten or something. Apparently her behavior has changed radically and in a number of videos she just seems to stare off and get really scared all of a sudden.

Well, i'm not sure of what could mean (sorry) but i know this kind of thing happened. I had a similar experience while ago and it feels pretty real and also i dreamed about things that were happening at the moment... even i had sleep paralysis like you; however, dreams mean many things so i guess this is subjetive.
Oh, i remembered... it's a popular opinion: if you dream with a black dog you could be in trouble and your brain it's warning you... Hope this helps.

I posted in this board about 4-3 days ago asking for advice on a YouTube channel that I want to start.
You guys told me I should go for it, and to post my email so I can get some stories from you guys. So I made the logo, got the account, the email account for the channel, and I already got some basic starter concepts for thumbnail art so it doesn't look so plebbish.
Anyways, what I wanna ask of you guys is that I'd like to bring some paranormal experiences from a different source aside from reddit. I usually hear the same stories from different YouTubers more than once. I think it'd be a nice change of pace to bring some stories that have never been heard of, into the table.
I've been lurking in this board for about 5 years and I know some of you have seen some shit.
