Auras are not what you think. You're not seeing some kind of energy field around a person's body. Yes, I know you can see them, but it's not an energy field.
What you have is basically person-color synesthesia, and it's not a paranormal phenomenon. The part or parts of your brain that produce the experience of color are wired to the part or parts of your brain that have to do with people, and if you're a projecting synesthete, you see colored auras around people as a result.
Not everybody even gets the auras. Some folks see colors when people speak or when they think of people instead of the colored energy outline.
Not trying to shit on your parade; it's still a really fucking cool phenomenon and it's wonderful that there are people who experience it, but you're not dealing with anything paranormal.

The only reason anyone talks about Flat Earth theory is to stop people from looking into ring earth theory.
The fact is that the sky is an artificial projection. We have gone to space. The images are not fake. Our governments are not aware of the Ringworld. However, it is the true structure of our world.
If we dig deep enough into the ground, we'll encounter the artificial vacuum of space, not a molten core, not China.
A species of ape was deposited here millions of years ago; over time, offshoots developed intelligence, agriculture, metallurgy, militaries, economies. This was expected by the aliens who put us here, who are still in contact with various groups on the ground, having gone into hiding on artificial constructs across the galaxy, like our Ringworld but in many cases larger (i.e. Dyson spheres, O'Neill cylinders, etc. to survive a holocaust being perpetrated by another faction of beings from beyond our habitat (we ourselves, being aliens, are also simply a faction of beings).
The next X-Files season will feature a variation on Flat Earth theory to a) debunk dissident theories of terrestrial geography and b) draw attention away from Ringworld theory

I suppose this would be the best place to confess. By the end of this thread and any after there will still be a lot questions left unanswered and I doubt anyone will be satisfied by the answers I can give but the function of this thread will serve to get as much of this off my chest as possible.
I lived in Texas during the time of this event and owned a lot of property close to the border. One day while I was out burning some trash I was approached by a group of men claiming to be border patrol and asked if it would be alright if they built on my land. When questioned as to what they would be building they showed me a blueprint of a pretty big facility that looked like it could hold several hundred people. Obviously they were not about to let me look at it for very long but went on to say it was basically a 'guard house' or a place where patrol agents could eat/sleep/live. This sits with me fine considering I'm against illegal immigration and wasn't about to turn them down once they indicated the amount of money they would give me.(56,000) a year.
I'm relatively young, inherited the land from my grandfather who passed away in 2008 and sharing some useless piece of property almost a mile away for that amount of money was a good deal. Two months later, I am forced to use an home made tractor path just to get off the property. They set up huge razor ribbon fences and wouldn't so much as let me LOOK in their direction. It was sketchy but on occasion I'd get a visit from one of them just to check on me and make sure no one is bothering me - I took this the other way around as in they were making sure I was staying away. So here is what happened next. After making it a real hassle to get off the property I actually complained to the guy who had been visiting me and asked if I could use the main road to get out. Originally this wasn't part of the deal and I'm stupid as hell and didn't have the foresight to realize how annoying it would be to drive four extra miles to get off my own land. The guy didn't seem to pleased but understood. The very next day I was presented with an ID. I couldn't find a picture of what the image actually looked like but it is similar to the OP without the circle. The first red flag was the photo ID.
My 'mug shot' from 2001 was actually on the picture and they made no attempt to hide the fact they somehow had access to my criminal record.(Bar fighting, resisting arrest). I wasn't to happy about that but in the end I couldn't be to upset since I had use of the road again. When I passed through the gate I could tell it was very formal every time. Same 'ID please', same 'Have a nice day'. The guard in the little box knew me, saw me working sometimes yet every single time treated me as if having never seen me before. He had a glossy eyed expression, always stood at attention and never once looked away from the road. They didn't carry rifles but did have pistols of some kind.
Also, another complaint was the facilities lights. They were so bright it made my cows nervous and shy to go to the good field where I had previously let them graze.

Few months later everything had become very routine and the guard in the box actually lightened up around me when I would mimic what he was going to say before he could say it. While sighting it in if you could even call it that I heard gunshots coming from up the road, very loud gunshots and saw someone killed for the first time in front of me. When you're holding a gun and see violence just happen your first instinct is to get ready for whatever. I trained the scope to where the noise had come from. A mexican guy had been shot to death by some of the border patrol members while running away. After this happened I didn't see much else besides a few SUV's surround him and then vanish back into the facility.
This shit was happening right next to where I was living.

No this is a separate thing altogether. Her mother and I aren't even on talking terms nor does she have anything to do with her as per the wishes of her mom.
She has the normal four year old experiences with monsters under her bed and an imaginary friend she calls Mr.Bean but that's all, as far as I know.
Is the DMT universe a real place?

There's something that's been bothering me for over ten years now.
I live on a wetland, and when I was younger, I saw something when I was in the swamp. For whatever reason, I don't remember exactly what it looked like. All I know for sure is that it was white, and taller than I was. It might have been glowing, it might have been screaming, but my memory is strangely fuzzy. I remember pretty much everything that happened in the moments surrounding the encounter, but not the details of the encounter itself.
I came here to see if anyone else has had a similar experience, or if anyone might know just what it was I saw that day.
