And then I woke up. Not sure why it was so scary to me at the time, but I've not woken up so uncomfortable in a while.

I had a dream shortly after my mother died a little over four years ago. I woke in a dark room in a three piece black suit with a red tie. The room around me was black with deep purple lights. Around me were the people who mattered most to me and her. We all waited for our turn to speak with her, and when it was finally mine I went in and had a seat. She looked at me with the saddest eyes I've seen in life or a dream. She told me I needn't worry or grieve any longer. To move on with life and better myself. She told me to be happy and that she forgave me for everything. I told her I love her and left. The waiting room was empty then, and I broke down crying. When I woke up I felt relieved, and like I had gotten closure.

My grandad and I went back to my car the next morning, but it was still dead. Phone was working now, though. But the thing that weirded me out the most, when thinking about the lights and the order of events, was that I noticed there were no train tracks. I call it a close encounter, but I don't believe I was abducted.
