This Chintamani Stone, which is of extra-terrestrial origin, had supposedly been brought to Earth by emissaries from a planet orbiting the star Sirius and then handed over to Shambhala’s principal resident, the elusive “King of the World,” a monarch known by many mystics in the East but only by a handful of occultists in the West. In regards to its identity in the Holy Grail legends, the Chintamani Stone appears to be synonymous with the “Stone of Heaven,” the Holy Grail manifestation mentioned by Wolfram von Eschenbach in his famous Grail rendition known as Parzival, which is regarded by most Grail scholars to be the most complete and authoritative of the Grail legends.
The Chintamani Stone certainly fits the profile of Eschenbach’s enigmatic Stone of Heaven because, like its literary counterpart, the Treasure of the World is said to possess both the power to make a human immortal, as well as to have come to Earth from “Heaven” (Sirius), a truth that is supposedly engraved upon it as Sanscrit letters that Roerich once translated as,

“Through the Stars I come. I bring the chalice (Grail) covered with the shield.”

Like Eschenbach’s stone the Chintamani Stone is, apparently, also green in color, since Roerich is on record as also stating that the Chintamani Stone is similar in appearance to a species of meteorite known as Moldavite, which is dark green in color.

I will never play an Ace Attorney game ever again, not after yesterday.

So it all started with me finding my DS whilst I was cleaning a few days ago and then wanting to revisit one of my favourite games for the system, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I looked on ebay and checked out some copies and found one for an absurdly low price ($4.34) and bought it.

When I got the game in the mail a few days later I noticed that the cartridge did not match like it did in the Ebay pictures at all. This one had a shadey label on it with the words AA written on it. I shrugged it off and popped in the game hoping to just play some good ol' Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. But then here comes in the weird stuff.

First of all, it skipped the Capcom logo entirely and just began on The First Turnabout, I thought maybe the settings were put in a weird way but then that thought changed when I noticed that Frank Sahwit had a butcher's knife in his hand instead of the usual clock. Frank started stabbing Cindy in a very realistic fashion, I was certain that only the 3DS would be able to handle animation this smooth and realistic but when the realistic blood came on screen I near vomitted. At this point I assumed the game had been hacked but just as I was about to shut off the game Phoenix Wright appeared out of nowhere with a speech box saying "Don't."

At this point I'm shaking and did not now what to do, it was night time and I thought I heard noises but I could have been paranoid. The game took me to the lobby and then the game just crashed, I felt somewhat relieved, when I aimed for the power button again Larry Butz appeared out of nowhere in a different room. He was crying and begged for me not to turn it off. I was sick and tired of this fear and turned it off anyway, the game froze again but this time Larry's head came off entirely and started floating and cried out blood. "Thou will pay for thy sins." it said. I took a screenshot of it but still do not know what to do.

I wanna start astral projection but I work nights so I get home at 7 in the morning. What happens when you AP during the day. Is it the same at night? Will others be AP during the day? I'm new to this so bare with me. Also any info would be awesome to read.

This paragraph reads like it's straight out of a textbook on Object Oriented Computing, which developed [at MIT in the late 1950s and early 1960s], around the same time this book was published.

Did modern computer science techniques have their origins in eastern mysticism?

the nature of the Cyclical Universe— a very common trope for those dealing with subjects of spacetime, parallel dimensions, and chronos— is not at all hard to understand. Whether or not you’ll be able to accept it to your worldview, that’s another story.

the universe we live in has existed many times before. many times. many many many. every detail down to the pebbles on which beach in 55000000BC, to every follicle in place on JFK’s arm in 1961 as he raised it to be inaugurated. Every little thing about the universe that you know and have lived, has happened before.

“What number/cycle is our universe presently on?”
That I cannot say, not because I’m keeping back clandestine information, but because I’m as human as you are. I’d love to know the number, but I do not believe any man knows it. I do believe it is a number well into the 100,000s. I always imagined something like 137,000 - 143,000 , (but that is intuition alone and nothing to be taken even with the tiniest salt)

each time the universe is destroyed, it is because of autonomous lifeforms. I believe it is members of our species here on Earth. when the universe ends, it restarts. and only in slight alterations can the universe manage to increase its longevity. So, it was very likely we used to be stuck at 1952 for a long time. Some cold war disaster that kept happening, and happened maybe even 15-20 universes in a row, before we managed to avoid it and make it to 1953. then, another plateau of a big deadly event causing humanity to end it, and so forth.

We are now in the universe where the human story has made it to 2017. there are two questions we should be asking of the Cyclical Universe:

Interesting how the combinations of things people talk about and the words and symbols they use can serve something like a fingerprint or DNA - an identifying market. A name is a trivial example, but there are much more, and not just identifying people. Genealogies and relationships of combinations are also among the things revealed if one knows how. A genetic engineering of words is too clinical for many tastes, better call it poetry or storytelling. Some stories are very predictable and formulaic, some are predictable only to the dedicated, and some are predictable only to their authors.

Bigfoot.

A classic cryptid, it is believed to be a bipedal humanoid primate, with enormous strength, a foul stench and aggressive behaviour. Bigfoot and bigfoot-like creatures have been reported all throughout the world in a variety of cultures, although this maybe the result of a universal human fear of our primal, animal instincts.

Please note that this thread should not be about bigfoot, as what killed the last general we tried was people constantly discussing bigfoot. So please, discuss bigfoot along with other cryptids.
