Do you think that the dead can communicate with you through dreams? Any experiences with it?
If so, what does it mean if a loved one that passed away is tormenting you in your nightmares?
When my grandma died, I immediately started having terrifying dreams about her where she'd float and chase me around in a picture frame while screaming things at me
I was never ever scared of her when she was alive and missed her really badly after she died so I can't make any sense of these dreams I had where I was scared of her

Hey /x/. Need some advice on this.
There's a sort of psychic sensitivity that runs in my family, on my mom's side. We all get strange insights for no reason that turn out to be correct. My mother and grandmother are super catholic, and they both insist that it's a "gift from god," and that everything we see is for some fatalistic purpose.
I'm not so sure. I'm thinking it's some sort of genetic/spiritual quirk.
Examples; All of us know who is calling on the phone immediately before it rings. A lot of it seems inconsequential, like, for example, I know I'm going to see a specific coworker outside of work at the store one day, without knowing where, or that my dad is going to drop an egg while cooking dinner sometime soon. We all get prophetic dreams occasionally. one thing that comes to mind for me in particular was a nightmare I had before 9/11, as a young kid.
I always tend to get a bad feeling when something bad happens to someone close to me. When I was 8, I decided to test it by writing in a journal who would die next, and about when it felt like they would die. I still have them and I kept them away from my family because I was terrified that I'd made them all die lmao.
But no, having talked to my mom and grandmom more about it, it seems like it's been in our family for at least 5 generations, passed down maternally.
Is there any way for me to get more in touch with it/develop it/ at least control it so I don't just have these random senses of dread without fully knowing why?

Reading this, I have the same thing. I'll have dreams very vividly and sooner or later, an aspect comes to life.
Best i /you can do is try to figure out what you might logicly see more offten. Even then, the more illogical sounding, try to make it sound logical in a differnt sense. Its just abstract thinking really.
Otherwise, memory exercises might help you.
