Hello there!
A beginner here, I've been reading up on magick and all things related recently and before I jump into it I need to ask: What to watch out for? What is dangerous and what safety precautions should I take while attempting anything? Also what are some good things to start with?
Thank you :)

Hurt anyone for any reason under any circumstances
>>18504055
Don't tell anyone you do it. You will immediately lose all your friends and basically never have a gf ever.
>>18504072
Yeah I never meant to tell anyone anyway. I can see things going to shit very quickly. Gotta ask, are you speaking from experience?
Hey /x/ I got a story from something that happened to my grandmother it's about a curse that was casted on her and how she got it off & what happened after (also pretty /x/ related).
Anyone interested?
>>18504051
Im interested
Next time I would pre-write the story. The likelihood of someone telling you no is pretty low on this board.
>>18504051
No. Not really.
Do you have any naked pics of your grandmother?
So I'm just chillin at my friends house, when his wife asks me if I knew anything about potential occult symbolism, pic related.
Now, friends wife and her sister found pic related in the addic of their late uncles house. Dude was from the early 1900's and had a history of dabbling in the occult. Based on my limited knowledge I'd wager that it is either local occultism or something about alchemy.
Now, the kicker is: I'm from the rural farmlands of Denmark, religion isn't big here anymore and hasn't really been for the last couple of decades and I only ever heard the occasional druggie rumor about devil worshippers in the local forests.
Some more info, it might be related to a friend of the uncle, who came from Iceland. And we all know Iceland is a magical paradise filled with shady shit.
>TL;DR
Need any info on jewelry in pic related.
If it turns out to be nothing, I'll just delete this thread so as to not waste precious board space

Are these legit?
Ok I can help with *some* of these.
1. Don't know too much about the origins of the anarchy sign. But it does deal with the rejection of authority and God.
2. Never seen it before.
3. This one is legit. The inverted pentagram has many meanings. It is used as the identifying emblem of the Church of Satan, only with the face of a goat in the middle. In other forms of satanism it usually represents the original pentagram, only mocking it. The original pentagram's five points represent fire, earth, water, air, and spirit. The topmost point is the spirit. Therefore you are putting your spirit above materialistic things (of the flesh, of physicality, of carnality, etc). However, turned upside down, you are putting materialistic things above your spirit. The circle around a pentagram usually represents a circle of protection and in many cases when it is inverted the circle is not present at all.
4. This one is also legit. Many covens worldwide use what we know as the peace symbol as an image of the rejection of Christ. A new initiate of the coven is first bathed in pig blood, signs off their soul in the form of a contract, and then is handed what looks like a crucifix within a circle (usually made of wood). They then turn it upside down to mock Christ and then break the arms of the cross.
5. The upside down cross has many roots in the death of St. Simon Peter, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus, who was crucified upside down. However, in modern day, most people use the symbol to mock Christ.
6. The triangle has so many meanings that I could not tell you it's definite one. In many cases it represents the Trinity, sometimes even the Unholy Trinity. It has 3 sides, which can be interpreted through a number of beliefs. In Solomonic Grimoires and in Goetic summoning, if a spirit is violent or untamed, you must command it into a triangle on the ground.
7. Never seen it.
8. Legit.
9. Not sure
10. Legit
11. Legit
12. Legit
Hope this helps.
Yeah, that does help.
8 for enochian bigleague and 10 for general work with the 4 Watchtowers while acknowledging the holy spirit of the source which is God above both they and earthly matters.
>>18504015
>5. The upside down cross means only one thing - blasphemy of Christianity and Jesus Christ
Except that's completely wrong. An upside down cross is the symbol of St.Peter's Cross. Because when Saint Peter was going to be crucified, he asked to be crucified upside down because he wasn't worthy of the same treatment Christ got. It's actually a symbol of respect for Jesus Christ.
Does anyone have and tips or starting points for those interested in shamanism.
Read and devote your life to the writings of Carlos Castaneda.
Its kinda like chaos magic, and it's a lonely path. Carl jung had some okay psychological insight into the practice where yeah it might be all in your head but that reality is less important that your inner journey. Look for totems and artifacts, study the medicine wheel, and try the good ol fashion "find the hole in the groundaand climb into it" meditation.
Had a nice trip where i followed a rabbit once, when we got to a clearing i asked him if he was real and his response was, "Might be, if I'm not does that invalidate whatever you learn here somehow?" Then he told me i need to learn not to panic, but be diligent and aware. Cool guy.
Also try chanting to the corners, and wait for your power objects to come to you.

Wondering what I might have seen few years back.
I was living on like the 3rd of 4th floor of an apartment when I was like 10. Saw a dark silhouette of a humanoid, darker than dark if that makes sense. It had scorching or glowing eyes like that the tip of a cigarette. This thing stood there for idk how long till I fell asleep. Always thought I must have imagined it or that there must be some object that made it seem like something was standing there.
But I saw this thing again after a few years when I was living at a different apartment. Both times it had the same eyes and something about it was eerie.
I'm 25 now but I still remember clearly: I tried looking online to see if there were any records of people seeing the same thing, but nothing... except for the mothman?
Pic i found online
owl
>>18503906
You are correct, many consider most of the mothman sightings (aside from the bridge siting before it's collapse in broad daylight) as a large owl. OP did say "10" and owls don't travel in packs. Could easily have another explanation like a family.of racoons stuck in a tree. Matters if there was any abnormal movement of the figures, random disappeances or odditys around the time of sighting.
>When it comes to being paranormal or not, personally I do beleive in Shadow People, so I'll say it's a slim chance.
Op here
Yeah, maybe it was an owl but it was nowhere near a tree or anything. The eyes were actually near a wall behind was the entrance to the underground parking.
Didn't know their eyes glowed red though
Hey /x/. What paranormal podcasts do you listen to? I'm a big fan of Mysterious Universe myself. I'm looking for some recommendations. Thanks.
The sticky's podcast section is seriously out-of-date.

The old ones are but not the things you find in toy stores.

lol, wtf.
Yeah, the ones that were enchanted by witches and can only be found in castles of Jnamor

Well, from my experience, they are real. (I guess?)
I heard there is some weird effect where you move the pointer without knowing, but I always felt it being pushed by someone else (without someone else actually moving it).

For a while now I've heard voices while being in the atate of "half asleep." Sometimes they get so loud it wakes me up, and then I hear nothing. Does anyone else experience this? Do you think its something paranormal or just my brain playing tricks on me?

I had a good run
Now assume that Christianity is right, and that lucifer is working to destroy/corrupt/bring Humanity to ruin, but one thing had always bothered me: If he was an extension of Gods will and still rebelled, was it the will of the Lord? Or do Angels have free will of their own? This question had bothered me for years until I came to a speculation that I did not expect, the very origin of sin itself, this did not manifest in the fallen angel and from what I understand existed before his and Mankind's fall. There are plenty of artistic works and literature that portray some kind of force that literally defines raw evil itself, more black and terrible than anyone could possibly imagine with a directive to extinguish everything, I am certainly no new age dipshit as I do not consider this fact, only a possibility, as the bible would only teach us what we need to know for are time on earth, but what comes after? Is all of this just a test or something more? Only time will tell I suppose..
>>18503672
DON'T TELL ME YOU'VE GONE ASTRAY I WALK IN CIRCLES! I'VE SEEN MILLION THINGS THAT TELL MEEE SOOOOOOOOO!
Satan had free will in the same way Adam and Eve had free will. Although God didn't make him sin, God knew that he would sin when he created him.
The witch knew she would surely die if she ever returned to that cursed place... and so her meagre choices, as simple as which movie to watch, which book to read, became the sins which sealed her fate.
A friend and I decided to create a parody secret society.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pineal_gland
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N,N-Dimethyltryptamine
>Melatonin, which induces sleep and represses sexual hormones, is produced by the pineal gland.
>Sexual stimulation reduces melatonin production (though after orgasm this slightly subsides)
>The pineal gland evolved from a primitive eye which could sense light, and thus is less active when you are exposed to more light, particularly artificial light and blue light from electronics screens.
>Melatonin helps to prevent brain decay.
>Over time calcium deposits form in the brain, known as brain sand, this is mostly in the pineal gland.
>Calcium and fluoride deposits in the pineal gland have a positive correlation (the more fluoride in your pineal gland, the more it calcifies).
>A positive correlation has been shown between pineal calcification and dementia, particularly Alzheimer's.
>The pineal gland has been observed to metabolize DMT in rodents, a chemical which induces spiritual visions/dreams and contact with fractal elf-like beings.
>Pic related is three-eyed iguana; the third eye, or parietal eye, is a primitive form of the pineal gland.
>>18503556
Do sexually stimulating media like pornography weaken the pineal gland?
Do hormones in our food and water suppress hidden abilities of our brains?
Does calcification cause Alzheimer's or vice versa?
Could we "open" our "third eyes" with small doses of DMT?
Why does the government fluoridate our water when fluoride treatments at the dentist (in which fluoride is never ingested) go just as far in preventing cavities?
>>18503569
How to "open your third eye":
>quit porn/erotica and try to avoid thinking/fantasizing about sex
>filter fluoride (ask your dentist about fluoride treatments to prevent cavities) and estrogen out of your water and eat only hormone free meat (also cut out soy)
>Avoid artificial light at night, be it from a light bulb or computer screen. The night sky is also very polluted and reflects artificial light, so pull the curtains at night (pic related).
