/x/ you probably know that meditating on certain things puts you into a feeling from which in turn aligns you in a frequency that you can move to that version of parallel reality(ask if you need more explanation on this), so I am simply making this thread to share what various pictures etc you have that let you clutch and change gears to another plane or so to say open a communication channel

Although there are much more pleseant things to meditate on, I don't really understand this board's obsession of 'dark' things alone, as if light and dark aren't both valid option but when it comes to paranormal you're obssessed with stabbing your own foot, I only have this example for now,

Want to kick myself into the state of sleep deprivation to see what kind of hallucinations would i have. The best i ever did was 4 days (102h) without sleep, and ended up falling asleep on my keyboard. Tips on not falling asleep? Will short naps (15 min a day or so) allow me to stay awake while still suffering from sleep deprivation? Any guides on this?

I have accomplished a great feat. Yet, I find myself unable to tell most people about it. This is because I consider myself first and foremost a scientist. While I believe in supernatural aspects of magic, I usually ignore them as things of limited value in the modern day.

Yet I have done something that goes beyond science and into the realm of of the occult. So I come here, to explain in part what I have done and to see if others have done similar.

I had a long long period in life where things just kept on getting worse and worse. I held on, until I couldn't function any longer. I could not eat, I could not sleep, I could hardly get out of bed. So I did something that I had done a few times ago. I had simply planned to "cut away" mentally those parts that hurt me too much, to distance myself from them.

Instead, I think I killed myself. Not literally of course. But I think I somehow killed my ego, my conscious self and rebuilt a new one. The changes are frankly too much. My memories feel as if I've been reading someone elses journal entries. My priorities have shifted. I look at my/our/his past and I can't figure out why he did certain things. I look around myself and everything is so new. So many things that never came to my attention.

The strangest is that certain things have altered that I never thought possible. I haven't had a single panic attack since I was reborn. I no longer fear heights, and I used to be scared. My heart would start going faster when I was on top of a ladder. climbing high towers in a videogame had a terrifying aspect to it. I used to have the irrational desire to fear to jump off high places so I wouldn't be so high anymore.

Now, nothing. Not a single twinge. And that's weird, phobias don't go away overnight.

I haven't suffered any head trauma recently so, any explanations?

So,yesterday i had a dream where my cat could talk.
I took him to my room and chained him in front of a mirror and he started talking about how i would get sent to hell and shit,he said i had 1 year left to redeem myself,but i had no idea what i did wrong.

Let's be real about a few things here.
All of us currently reading this were born and came into existence at some point. Our concious minds became active and started making memories.

My earliest are probably around age 2 since I still remember crawling. My oldest memories and dreams were very primitive, I mostly thought in pictures. And as hard as I try I can't seem to remember anything before that.

No one really knows what happens when we die, or if we ever existed at all before we had memories. Its hard to think that my mass of cells just sprung into existence and suddenly I became concious and aware of my thoughts.

And on the way out that it could go the same way, that I simply become nothing. The longer i've gone on in life, the more crazy it seems that no one seems to question these two entry and exit points in life.

Sure we've got a million relegions and beliefs, but somehow understanding the answers seems to be at the back of everyone's minds. Maybe there's a gene that keeps us from fixating on it, or a part of the brain. Maybe its all a simulation and thats one of the failsafes keeping people unaware. As far as that theory goes, anything I say here effectively wouldn't matter since none of you probably exist, and everything that bounced back was either made up by my own concious or a computer.

The bottom line is, we, assuming we're all real and not figments. Have no idea what happens before and after conciousness, and we seem no closer now to finding the answer than we were when I was a 4 year old learning to use a computer.

Why do you think that is?

OK I just want to say beforehand that I'm not schizophrenic or larping, I'm only interested in understanding what I've been seeing

I only really notice it when I dim the lights to go to sleep, I've been seeing it for the last couple years but mostly blew it off as my brain transitioning to sleep mode, but tonight it was extremely noticeable and I actually watched it move about and even make contact with me

It's like an inky smoke being produced from thin air, or like really thick energy spiralling around an area warping the air like when heat radiates off a surface, it moves around and seems to want to be noticed as it would reenter my vision when I'd look elsewhere, at one point the smoke directed tendrils of itself at my face and I could see it flow across my blanket and face like a thick mist

I went for a cigarette since it kinda weirder me out, and as far as I can tell it's gone for now

So what is this? I'm asking honestly, I don't even believe in paranormal shit but this is something that's actually happening and I can't dismiss it as imaginary at this point, I've even lived in three different places far from each other during this time and it seems to have followed me or maybe it's a part of me

I have no fucking idea, please somebody tell me if I'm cursed or already dead or if I'm totally fucked

I don't normally go on /x/. But every now and then I think back on something that I saw and wonder about it. Would like some input or theories about what I saw, or at minimum to just share my story with you guys.

In October 2011, I was working in a retail store. It was approximately 9:03PM and the store had just closed a couple minutes prior. Every-other overhead light turned off, so the store darkened but not tremendously. I was fixing a camera display, when I noticed someone walking down the aisle to my left and slightly behind me. This was all out of my peripheral vision, but the only thing I could tell was that it was very dark, human shaped, and had no discernible features on it other than it's human shape and black color. It didn't concern me at that instant, because my boss was a black guy and I assumed it was him in that moment. The person was walking very smoothly, almost gliding, and made a sudden, almost perfect 90 degree turn and walked down the last aisle of toys. One thing I should mention was the movement. It turned a perfect 90 degrees, just a completely smooth and quick transition with no apparent change in speed as it made the turn. In this toy aisle, there was a toy baby which was motion activated, located about 10' from the end (the end closest to me) of the aisle. You or a customer would walk by it, it would laugh or cry. I was familiar with it. Well, sure enough, as this figure walked by the doll, the doll went off and started laughing. In an instant, I turned my head to see who it was, but saw no one. I stepped back from my position to see the entire aisle from end-to-end, and nobody was there.
