i love this game. also my top 5 batman games:
1. Batman Returns (SNES)
2. The Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES)
3. Batman (NES)
4. Batman (GB)
5. Batman (Arcade)
>Batman (Arcade)
Do you mean the driving one?
>not Batman (PC Engine)
>not Batman (Mega Drive)
>not Batman Returns (NES obviously)

Isn't the Genesis version a far superior game?
hello to all, i know that many here will indicate to me that I can possibly buy one aftermarket Nintendo 64 Controller already in a USB option. However, my question here is the possibility to convert an existing working nintendo 64 controller that can work both with the original console and also as a USB controller to be used together with the Pi. Does anyone if is possible to have some kind of mod that can be made to modify the original controller to be used with a USB connected on a Pi? It's possible without messing inside the controller, just messing with the cable? Thanks a lot guys!
Just buy an N64-to-USB adaptor.
The original work better and I kind looking for a solution to mod a original controller that could have a dual conector. But I'll look for a N64-to-USB adaptor.

>Tfw you realize the dead HEV bodies on Xen were an original, early expedition from the Lambda Complex that was organized to research and document alien life
>The quote "The administrator is very concerned that we get a conclusive analysis of today's sample. I gather they went to some length to get it." near the start of the game is a hint to this
Damn. I finally understand
>>3513338
No shit, what did you think they were from? It's also possible that they sent other personnel to avert the situation like with Freeman
>>3513354
That's the second game you're thinking of.
So my college radio station's studio is in the basement of some donut shop, and they have an abandoned Street Fighter II cabinet in there. I don't know much about refurbishing or building cabinets, so is there any chance that with some time, money, and dedication I could get it working as a MAME cab?
General arcade cabinet thread I guess
You would be taking everything out and really only keep the shell. Maybe salvage the buttons.
>>3513327
Figured, but at least it would save me the woodworking or paying for it. Fair enough then
On a phone so I can't go into detail, but nothing inside is going to be plug and play except the JAMMA controls. The power supply will just be trash but you could probably get some cash for the Street Fighter board. The display (if not broken) will not have a standard adapter for VGA or RF and there will need to be some sort of converter.
ITT retro game covers/flyers that aren't accurate but are still good
There's this one PC port of Donkey Kong that isn't inaccurate but is hilarious because it's realistic style.
This cracks me up, Donovan's sword is freaking dinky, Anita is showing emotion and Pyron looks like some sort of hog.
This looks more like the cover of a beat-'em-up than something fitting for a cute puzzle game involving flipping floor tiles. They even went as far as to use a similar art for the title screen.
Why does Ralph start this stage facing to the left?
Hello??
how do i get into FF? assume i've never played a jrpg before
this is a fucking game for children many children played, beat and loved- thats why its so widely praised nowadays
i really dont understand why you chose to make this thread and wait for replies rather than just fucking play the god damned game
WHAT

Just read the manual. They're all designed to be friendly for first time players. You will have no trouble.
Is there any other 3D game that feels as good to control as Mario 64?
No. I guess not. at least among retro games anyway.
Among 2D games though DKC was always my favorite.
>>3512858
I think Sunshine feels better.
I say this as someone who really dislikes Sunshine.
>>3513105
Gamecube's stick has more dead zones than the N64 stick, so it's not as maneuverable.
It wasn't that bad.
>>3512758
You weren't that badat sucking cock
>>3512758
Your grammar gives it away, it "wasn't" that bad. A good game you'd be talking about how fun it is to play now.
It wasn't. The controls worked exactly as they should, and the rest of the game was generally competent in its design. Problem is nothing stands out about it either. If I ever think of a quintessentially average, middle-of-the-road, grade 'C' title, it's Tonic Trouble
Just finished it yesterday on PS3, what a fucking good game. Your thoughts?
I remember a friend of mine giving his Sega Smash Pack 2 disk to me because he got bored of playing Sonic 2 on it, I loaded this up and he immediately wanted it back
Fantastic game, very unforgiving though. Still haven't beaten it. Tips?
KC is the perfect example of old school Die n' Try. I got no real tip, excepted learning the paths. And still... the game's so huge, it's impossible to know each level...

Will the Famicom Disk System games start to fail? I was wondering about them since most of them have no protective shutter, and as I understand it floppies are pretty prone to failure over the course of decades compared to say a CD.
Yes. All magnetic media has a lifespan on the order of decades. I don't think the disks missing a shutter is the primary reason for them failing. A disk in the storage case will also fail eventually. Using the disk in a poorly-calibrated disk drive may also damage it.
The bigger problem with the disk system might be failures of the disk drive itself. Those drive units are pretty fragile and contain some rubber belts in the motor assembly which have a notoriously high failure rate. The read head is also tricky to align correctly.
Combine these problems and the long-term viability of a Famicom Disk System collection starts to become questionable. You might consider getting something like an FDSStick and use it to back-up your existing disks.
For Crissake, just use an Everdrive, OP.
From my own experience famicom disk systems are hell on earth for loading problems.

Is this one of the greatest racing games ever made?
Gran Turismo 4 was better, but GT2 is still a great game
In terms of pure fun and replay value, that would be this.
GT2 had a ton of real world cars (Skyline GT-R R32 is my waifu) but arcade racers are more fun.
