>Torture chambers segment where you grab security pass from guy that gets squashed on torture device and you pick up card to go open pyramid security
>Pick it up
>Go back
>Enter security complex
>Notice card is no longer in inventory
>Can't get past pyramid security
>No manual save
>Autosave deletes working part of the game
>game is broken
>too lazy to go all over or find save file on net that goes past this point
so
use console cheats to approximate where you were before the snafu

I've read
>when you grab security guy by pussy
just fucking give it to yourself
I know I'm late to the party, but I just dusted off my OUYA (literally) and I'm looking to turn that piece of scrap into the only thing it's good for: a retro emulation console.
So I was wondering, is there a sort of collection or list of must-have emulators and retro games for the OUYA?
>go to emulator wiki
>click on systems you want to emulate
>find most recommended android emulators
>???
>game
>>3673189
do note that android is fucking terrible for emulation (and games in general, honestly)
Retro games that are impressive to beat?
Gradius III arcade and pic related. Also a bunch of other arcade 1ccs
ITT: games you pretend and post that you beat to get acceptance from anonymous people on the internet.

Doom should literally only be played on a 486 DX2
Is the SaGa 2 DS port trash? There's a SaGa thread about once a week, and no one ever talks about this port. Did they need it up? Is it worth playing?
>>3672838
I actually don't like it as much as the original or the SaGa 3 remake - lacking the modern SaGa skill system hurts the game a fuckload because that's half of why they're interesting.
>>3672838
>and no one ever talks about this port
It's fine.
It's just that the GB games and their remakes are less interesting than the darlings of the series, mainly Frontier and Romancing PS2 and on this board Unlimited
>>3672838
>and no one ever talks about this port
People do talk about it, and if you make a separate thread for it I don't really get why you complain about no one talking about it in the threads, but whatever.
It's a good remake, it is a bit different from the original since it adds quite a bit to it.
Were these games all better than their Gamecube counterparts?
>>3672770
Waverace and especially 1080 most definitely. Listening to Limb Bizkit an Korn while shredding down the hills .. oh the memories
>>3672770
Yes. Out of those, only Avalanche and the Mario Tennis game was somewhat decent on the GC, not as good as the originals though.
what about this one?
What's the point of the ducking move? I don't think there are any attacks that you can only dodge with it.
Super Macho Man's singular spin punch? I forgot, it's been a while.
>>3672752
Duck? You mean the block move?
You need it for the Indian boxer's teleport punch for one. It's useful against jab rushes and such.

>>3672656
I can beat that game in less than 25 minutes. What's so hard about it?
>>3672656
Pretty easy except for the final level and boss where they just throw everything and the kitchen sink at you.
I just found out there's an overclock mod for N64. Has anyone done it? Does it cause the parts to wear out quicker?
Yeah
How much does performance improve?
It's about 1.21 gigawatts better.
Why are these (and Super Smash Bros.) so expensive? Paper Mario has the excuse of being a late release.
mario party 3 is also a very late release it was like the 2nd last n64 game to be released in america IIRC
>>3672538
Should've clarified that, it's also what makes Conker so expensive.
They're highly sought after.
Smash 64 and MK64 also have this problem. I've seen multiple retro stores near me try to gouge people out of $80-$100 fucking dollars for Smash Bros loose. It's retarded.

>Yoshi, properly known as T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas, had been held captive in an egg until Mario (homo nintendonus) bopped along and rescued him. Instantly, the young dinosaur and the plumber became fast friends. Together, they set out to rescue Yoshi's dinosaur pals from the wickedness of Bowser.

Fungus Federation? Literally fanfiction tier. Did NoA run any of this by the actual creators of the game?

4/10, get off /vr/ and clean up
What a fucking discrace to those consoles
All you had to do to play Super Famicom games on a SNES was remove the two plastic tabs on the inside of the cart bay.
My question is, is there a way to mod a Superboy so that you could also play SFC carts on it as well, or am I out of luck with that?
>>3672318
Never owned a superboy but you could always just take the board out of a jp cart and put it in a us cart.
I don't think you need to mod it at all
Was there really some kind of region lock? I remember perfectly playing some japanese games on my American SNES (Super Butoden 2 comes to mind), the carts were a bit fat for the cart slot but they still fit.
So it doesn't sound so veiled and distant.
