Well, no, it's the bad ending. I mean, it could also be a reference to AM but there is a direct quote of the line in the game. Obviously the idea of powerlessness and ennui is a major theme of the game though, the title can mean a lot of things.

Analogue makes high end stuff.

They have some of the nicest consolized MVS' available.

They are definitely not for everyone. They are high end essentially custom hardware for people who are enthusiasts.

I don't personally care for it, but you know whatever.

It's pretty much necessary for a lot of games.

Yes but a lot of the manuels to my old games have been lost :(

It's something I really despise about modern gaming, the decline of game manuals.

I never appreciated manuals, back in the day. Whenever I had a problem in a game, I never thought to look it up. I just played every game with a trial and error mindset.

But when I got older, and everyone stopped putting expansive manuals with their games, I missed them. I read them all the time, now.

Actually, as a kid I could never beat a certain level on this platformer. I can't remember what exactly it was. But, in it, there's a boss battle where you have to shoot projectiles straight up, and I never knew how to do it. Years later, I read the manual and found that you had to press a certain direction and button while crouched to do it.

Would have saved me a lot of frustration.

For me it's Shadows of the Empire.

But nothing will ever beat the Star Wars Trilogy arcade. I freakin' loved that arcade, had all 50 highscores at the local place at some point, people gathered behind me when I was playing to witness the epicness. Seriously, it got to a point where I was ashamed to even put my name in the highscores, I just walked away as soon as I finished.

Only learned about how great this is due to /vr/ a year or two ago. I always dreamed of a platformer game where you had multiple different characters/creatures with different abilities that would go all a huge map.

No need to explain what it is or anything.

As a musician and /vr/ enthusiast I think it's pretty neat.
Maybe that means my musicianship takes precedent over my love of games, if so, whatever.
But being angry over the defacement of a gameboy seems a little overboard even for a /vr/ fan.
imho

Did they turn it into a stomp box for guitars or something? If the internals were somehow fucked beyond repair then whatever, I don't care too much, but otherwise I don't see the need to destroy perfectly good hardware purely for the sake of novelty.

Wipout64 has loads of popping up backgrounds instead of gently coming to the fore-screen like the playstation version

F-Zero is original and fun, great sounds and loads of replay value
