Summons make him more difficult.
Just equip a good lightning weapon (like the LKGS) and wait for him to lower his head. Get one or two hits in. Back off and repeat.

No. VII has a better story (even if it's a little nonsensical), more interesting characters, better music and a better combat system.
The ugly early 3D graphics of VII are in fact the reason that VI seems to overshadow it these days.

yes, be aware that you do get 4 games and the other 2 games aren't really games but a collection of cutscenes. this collection has pretty much the best version of kh2 final mix. If you want to take it a step further after playing the collection check out KH2.8

With the right talents and tree choices the combat is allot more fun then just light attack heavy attack.

There are times it feels weak, mostly during times you are fighting enemies above your level. If its your kind of world/story there is a abundance of things to pay attention to and the world is extremely fleshed out.

To be fair there's no excuse to have framedrops during something as heavily scripted as a cutscene
