Howdy partner, welcome to Bazrael's Western Herobuilder.

But put your history books and your highschool maps away, this isn't the old frontier you studied in history class.

This is the Fantasy Western Herobuilder. Where the the Dire Bufallo play. A world of magic and super science, witches and clanker bots and all sorts of fantastical things.

And that's where you come in parnter. But just who are you?

A pilgrim making a homestead, a lawman on the hunt, a criminal, a slave, and indian?

That's a story to tell.

The beasts draws you in closer, and you suddenly see it's dragging you deep into a sewer grate just below the castle. It's squeezing so tight you slip and let air escape your lungs causing you to panic, before it brings you out of the murky depths into a dark sewer. It's dark, and the filthy grim of the water obscures your vision, so you can only make out the outline of a horrible creature with one great big eye, a snapping jaw, and slime oozing from its skin.

You are just barely able to slip your hand to draw your gun and fire into its eye. Blast! Wet powder, the gun doesn't fire.

Still determined, you keep biting and jabbing your poisoned fangs into its grip and at last the beast roars, in pain releasing you, the bitten tendril reclines and shrinks and immediately begins to turn a shade of black. But this just makes the beast angrier.

You hit the water and then feel the bottom of the sewage with a disgusting crunching noise, as pieces of white begin to float to the surface. There are bones in the water! The whole thing is a bed of corpses.

Your gun is wet, and you feel that you've deployed a lot of your poison on the creature, which is moving to grab you again. However, you can see behind it stairs leading up. That must be the wait out of here.

The man standing next to your sister extends his hand, and introduces himself “I am Emmanuel Buster Jr., Sir.”

His name makes you stop.

“I believe, you served with my brother.”

Your sister Elizabeth then grabs his arm gently, and speaks to you.

“He's my husband Andrew. He's the father of your nephew and niece.” suddenly you remember the two little children clinging to your sister, and see the resemblance in the boy's face to Emmanuel.

“It's an honor to meet you.” he says. “You're a hero back east you know, the one who survived.”

“We're all very proud.” your Mother says. “But Elizabeth has shown you here husband and children, I think it's time you showed us your wife and my grandchildren too.”

That walk to the village was by far one of the most nerve shattering events in your life, but ultimately, Alicia proves to be a very helpful person. Andrews tension eases as his Mother hugs her new stepdaughter, and your father bends down to look at his three grandchildren, amazed at how old they are.

The village proves them a first hand glimpse at indian life, and they are amazed at how many people live in such a small village. They sit in further amazement at how the teepee is magically bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, and inner provides them a taste of Indian cuisine. It's mostly several variation of corn based meals, but Alicia is a skilled cook and sits down to entertain your family, answering a lot of their questions about Indian living.

Basic questions:
How would an open large scale Vampiric society work? How would they govern themselves?
What types and level of technology/magic would they achieve, harness, and use?
How would they go about shaping/terraforming the land around them.
How strong and effective would their military be?
If there were any, what kind of gods or religion would they worship? What would these gods represent?
And more importantly, just how would they coexist with mortal races, other civilizations, and other undead/horror themed creatures.

I've read up on all sorts of vampire based fiction ranging from Warhammer Fantasy, World of Darkness, what could be gained from Vampire Hunter D, and even Requiem Chevalier Vampire. But besides the last, I haven't really read or seen in most fantasy/sci-fi settings an open civilization of vampires that's clearly known to the rest of the world and is also a major power and not just a villain faction. Perhaps I just haven't looked hard enough, but I've come to /tg/ to ask you guys for help as your all well known for all the settings and Civilization threads you've done.

Read VTM. pretty much the basis of a vampire societies in general. Though vampires in open society and not being hunted down would be hard to imagine.

At best they would be treated like 40 k psycers and a neccesary evil.

Hey /tg/ I'm trying to figure out a class advancement system for my homebrew.
I'd like to make it not too complocated and the class paths specialized depending on they actually do in game, but what to about the flavor? lets say a fighter can specialize in defense or offese, how should I call them? knight and attacker? or make one specialized in melee and the other in ranged? knight and archer? how could I advance an archer class further? lend me your expertise.

I think you're putting your cart before the horse.
Worry about naming things after you figure out the crunch.

How does your system even work? Like a weird DnD FFT where your first few levels are Squire, but then your 3rd and 4th level are Knight, and your 5th and 6th are Monk?

This is Boruto Quest, a quest set in the universe of Naruto. It is during the generation of Naruto's son, shortly after everyone has graduated from their Genin exam. I haven't kept up with the series beyond the end of the original one, so this one is intended to recapture the feel of that time of Naruto. I will not be incorporating the main show or the Boruto movie's plot into the quest, although some recognizable characters will be present. You play as a 12 year old Genin graduate named Takeshi. You have been assigned a Jounin squad leader named Hanto, and your two squadmates are Kichiro, a young delinquent, and Ai, a strange social outcast of a girl. You are of average skill in most aspects, although your sharp intelligence has recently been making itself apparent. The final portion of the Chunin Exams has begun!

What should a power plant that produces magical energy look like?

Why does your fantasy setting not have power plants that produce magical energy?

In the real world, we make use of many of the world's natural features to make energy: wind, water, steam, heat, sunlight, rocks and fossils from the earth. Surely a fantasy setting could make similar use of the elements for renewable magical energy?

So, this came out a couple of weeks ago. Just got my copy today. Anybody else have one? What do you guys think?

After one quick run, I like it so far. Definetely better and with more depth than SH:AoD.

Only disappointing thing is that there are only 4 heroes - bright wiz, WP, iron breaker, and elf. It's just begging for some expansions with new heroes - witch hunter, troll slayer, etc. Guess it will have to wait a bit though.

Kings Of War is good for its rules not for its lore. Since you are allowed to basically use any miniatures for your army barring a few factions, you can basically make your own lore while still using the ruleset (which btw is much better than the piss poor balanced WHFB.)

Hi /tg/, been a long time since I've been here. I was wanting to start an Adeptus Evangelion v3 game, but I can't seem to find the character sheet for it. Would any of you elegan/tg/entlemen care to help me? Or does v3 use the same character sheets as 2.5?

V3 does not use the same character sheets as 2.5, as most if not all of the mechanics are changed between the two editions. 2.5 is based on Dark Heresy, while V3 is a unique system.

By the way, started reading a manga where the MC is a reborn guy that was a gun otaku, and is using magic liquid that transforms into the weapon you are thinking of when you pour magic into it, to assemble gun in his new world.

Feels too convenient, but its a funny read. Also, he has a childhood friend who is a white wolf girl so it feels like a Stella/Zoe hybrid and is therefore cute.

Strong, durable, and you can put nasty surprises in them without making it too obvious.

Skeletons are clean, and tend towards organized behavior. These properties make them outstanding house servants, and they don't have to worry about being damaged by exposure to the elements if they're inside.
Zombies on the other hand are durable enough that they can work the fields pretty much 24/7 without the elements blowing them to pieces like would happen to skeletons.
