So I'm wanting t run a game set in the starcraft universe, post legacy of the void, dealing with the tenuous peace talks between the dealaam and the dominion, and how Ulrazej is working with the surviving hybrid to ruin it, I'm looking for ideas for how to flesh it out, and help figuring out the system and what stats to float over for OCS and enemies

Considering that Starcraft started as W40K but had the serial numbers filed off because they lost the license I'd start with one of the 40k RPGs or possibly try and combine them.

So dark heresy, rogue trader and death watch would be good bases, I can mix and match any existing rules for playing eldar to make protoss playable, should probably water down perils for psionics

You should know that while the game has never been balanced, I'd say it has never been as unbalanced as it is now. Some armies are ridiculously powerful (Eldar, Tau, Necrons etc.) and some armies are just fucking terrible (Orks, CSM and DE good examples of this).

Imperial Guard is now called "Astra Militarum" because GW is run by apes who love trademarking everything and they couldn't trademark Imperial Guard. Luckily for you, if you continue playing with them, they are pretty good in this edition but not OP.

At the dinner table yes. We take break from the game table around 8pm to have potluck. Last week was holiday leftovers; so various sausages, leftover turkey made into pot pies, half-drunk bottles of wine, and stew.

Everyone is involved in a huge LARP and the central plot is that things are fine. If anybody breaks character at any point and starts screaming about how they have to eat rats to survive, they're executed for trying to ruin the game.
It's a pretty hardcore larp. Probably one of those Nordic ones.

You sure? You already checked in the usual spots and retraced your steps when you last had them?
I mean, it'd be no big deal if they just charged you $15-35 like it was any other key, but dealerships now are putting fancy microchips in all these fucking keys, even if your plate armor doesn't have any chip-related tech in it, so they can charge you fucking $900 for a new key.

That kind of it. You both sort it out amongst yourselves with subversion, sabotage, and general dickery forever until one of you is killed by who or whatever and the survivor, if there is any, is generally considered the guy who was in the right.
You're unlikely to ever reconcile your difference because you're Inquisitors, not pussies, and they'd sooner see you flayed alive than make peace. It's more cutthroat than a high school clique.
