i want to make a fairy barbarian
Question for the DSP guys. The Aerial Wings feat from Bloodforge has the following prerequisities:
>Vestigial Wings, Character Level 7th
Tieflings have an alternate racial trait that replaces Skilled, also called Vestigial Wings (it grants a +4 bonus to Fly checks but doesn't actually allow flight). I believe that Aasimar also have this trait as an alternative. Is it intended for these races to be able to take Aerial Wings since they do, technically, meet the prerequisites? I would hope so, since it'd be a bit strange to name something the same thing as an ability that already exists and NOT allow them to take the feat. It has the same basic effect (your weak wings grow into full-sized ones that actually allow proper flight), so it makes sense to me that it would be obtainable, but I want to double check to make certain.

After saying your goodbyes to your mother and a night under the stars, you took the girls home.
After another breakfast, your older daughter stands firmly, shaking her head and affirming she had to go home.
After nearly, a solid twenty minutes of tearful hugging from Bulma, she finally remembers something, dashing away to her lab.
"I'll miss you to mama." She nods, holding her fist out for you to bump. You hit it softly, before drawing her in as well, releasing her from your hug as Bulma returns.
"I know you won't be here for your birthday, so here." She passes it off, "Open it when you get home, alright?"
She nods, and you scoop up the younger Bra, as the elder hauls the time machine out of the lab, clambering in and waves goodbye.
"What'd you get her?" You ask, as the machine disappears with it's wheezing groan.
She shoots you a sly wink. "Secret. It's like this little princesses present, only smaller." She pinches Bra's cheek, "She'll find out soon enough. Her birthday's next week anyway."
You shrug it off, letting her get back to work as you sense someone approaching, a short message bouncing off, you get a reply, welcoming the visitors down.
Chichi touches down with both kids, the two wearing gi like their father, while Chichi's got a blue one on, looks like it's half dress, but whatever.
"What's up?" You greet, watching as Chitsu kneels in the grass and tries to rip a few blades out and stuff them in her mouth, much to her mothers disdain.
"You heard what I said after Cell, didn't you?" She asks, scooping her daughter back up. "I'm not going to just sit around and let my family get killed every time some monster shows up. She shoots you a feisty grin, "So I asked my husband about a few ways he got stronger. He told me about a secret water that Korin has that increases the power of anyone that drinks it."
"Neat. So, why'd you stop around here? And the kids too?" You ask, as Bra and Gohan pick up a game of tag around the yard, the boy going easy on your daughter, given the vast gap in their training.
Chichi waves a hand towards Bra, "Well, I figured you might want your daughter to be a little less vulnerable when push comes to shove as well, wouldn't you?" Her grin fades a little, the only issue is... well apparently it can be fatal to the drinker if they're not 'strong of heart'... whatever that means."
>Go for it, Bra's not going near it though.
>Sounds fun, mind if I tag along?
>Take her, sounds handy.
>Sounds like a verrry bad idea Cheech
>>44560759
>Let's go and see what it is on our own. Knowing Goku, whatever this water is, it'll make my "one year to save the world" training look tame.
I'd rather not torture our daughter just for a power-up
>>44560759
>Take her, sounds handy.
Copying the same topic since no one added to the booru (not even me):
>We've now got a booru to share images on, since the old Gangrel Minus went down. So today's topic is bringing attention to that and getting people to upload things to it, since I can't do it by myself (especially since most of my images are from gelbooru).
http://urbfan.booru.org/
Be sure to tag things as best you can, tagging helps people searching. The idea is to have a repository of character art, but any sort of inspirational image is good, so backgrounds and monsters help as well.

What's the population density for vampires again? Because this is fucking gold
"Blood Moon and Amulet of Vigor are getting banned" Edition
SCG Open Cincinnati Top 8:
>Amulet Bloom
>Kiki-Chord
>UR Twin
>Naya Company
>Tron
>Affinity
>Affinity
>Amulet Bloom
That Kiki deck was fun to watch
Surprised to see Naya Company so high and so few twin decks
Also surprised to see no Jund and that Infect was so low
I doubt Bloom will get banned this time around but it might in the future
PT confirmed 40% Bloom meta if it isn't banned
>>44556109
Jeff Hoogland is a fucking faggot and I just want to punch him in the face whenever they feature him in the sideboard autistically gushing about whatever bad deck he's playing
>The dungeon is alive
How do we make this more interesting?
>>44551581
Vore magical realm. Adventurers are in a glorified digestive tract and if they hang around for too long they get digested.
>>44551581
Make it a dragon with a dungeon inside it.
>>44551621
>>44551649
Vorefags please go.
Genius Loci are the true way to go. Make the dungeon an actual sapient being with a personality, hopes, dreams, and emotions, but still fundamentally inhuman due to the kind of being they are. Maybe they want to help the party, or hinder them. Maybe they're just bored as fuck and want some entertainment.
I couldn't see one in the catalog so character art thread, feel free to post character concepts too if you want.

In your RPGs, do you prefer systems with definite measures of range, distance and movement? Ones that encourage the use of Maps and Minis? Examples being D&D/Pathfinder, the Warhammer 40k RPGs or Savage Worlds?
Or do you prefer systems that abstract measures and discourage the use of minis or remove support for that style of play entirely? Examples being FATE, the new FFG Star Wars or the Modiphius system?
Do you feel that maps and miniatures add to a game's atmosphere or detract from it?
>>44569194
Maybe not minis, but definitely tokens
I much prefer the specific measurements. In terms of "atmosphere", I think miniatures and maps are neutral: you are still picturing the battle in your imagination. However, miniatures and maps clarify things quickly without having to pester the DM about how many are in the blast radius, and who is standing beside what.
You don't need fancy minis, a few coins will do, but it is SO MUCH BETTER with a visual way of tracking where everyone is. I do use minis sometimes, but it is hard to get minis for all the monsters and NPCs that might show up.
>>44569194
depends on what I'm running, a couple of the best systems as written I've seen might be either the one done up for Nechronicha(Japanese Tabletop RPG, good system, less than optimal premise.) combat consists of 5 "zones" everyone in the same zone is in melee combat with each other. reach weapons can reach across from one zone to another, an explosion damages everything in any given zone. etc.
the other that melds abstraction with the definite would be the system for Legend of the Wulin, you're either close enough or you aren't at the GM's discretion. it's a very fast effective system that doesn't stress too hard on precise placements.
Why does /tg/ hate K6BD, anyways?
>>44569026
what's K6DB?
>>44569064
Only the best and most /tg/ webcomic ever!
>>44569026
That's not K6BD. That's an entirely different and much more actually Indian flavoured comic.
Yo /tg/,
I'm a relatively new DM, and I'm having a hard time writing my campaign. Last session, my players pulled some shit I didn't expect and I had to improvise a ton. I know that's not even remotely a bad thing, but I'm having trouble making more stuff and I keep second guessing myself because my players might pull some more shit I dont expect and I have to scrap other encounters I had prepared.
Basically, I dont want to make a whole dungeon only to have the players decide to not go down into it. Currently they're motivation is an offer of 10,000 gp for a gem they found that may or may not be the heart of a "dead" god. An NPC will tell them they gold they seek is in the dungeon but I dont know if they'll take the bait.
Any advice/suggestions?
Also genaral new DM thread
I have general ideas for regions and places, have several plot hooks per session. And use dungeon tiles for generating dungeons on the fly. Have a few encounters planned, mainly the big ones, and leave the rest up to generators and the dice gods.
P.S. Nice pic OP, did your mom take it for you?
>>44567965
Make encounters that works independently, so you can reuse them at will.
PLayers didn't go into the fungeon ? Then the bandits on the road will be reskinned versions of the goblins guarding the first room...
Also, apparently you've got a basic dunjon-crawler with no real incensive for the players to go in. That's very old school.
If you don't want them to go everywhere, give them an endgoal and a cadre for their characters.
>>44568085
Yeah, dungeon generators are pretty sweet, I just dont know if they'll say "Fuck the 10000 gp lets go whoring, or to a library or something"
and yeah she took it on our trio to maui
Tell me about DnD5e/Next. Can I make a magical close combat character that relies on dodging?
>>44565530
Yes
>>44565530
Dunno about 5e because it's shit, but the Magus Class in Pathfinder is pretty much exactly that.
>>44565530
There's a spell sword route for fighters but its mostly about fucking mages shit
Anyone have any side by size comparison of 1/48 sized tanks next to a Leman Russ?
I hate the shitty tread design on them and looking to replace all tanks with someone else.
Any good suggestions?
I'd like to use German WW2 tanks, like the Panzer iii or iv.
>>44565142
I can't give you any suggestions, but I can give you this modernized Panther picture.
>>44565142
Don't have the pic on my phone but irc the 1/48 p4 was a little longer and little shorter. Pretty close overall and the guy was able to stick a battlecannon on it as well
>>44566020
I always find "modernized" stuff a big silly. Like you got "modern roman legions" and it's a dude with a lorica segmentata style kevlar vest and a galea style tactical helmet, carrying a gladius style tactical knife and a riot tower shield.
Good evening/morning everyone.
As announced on my twatter, a new quest begins today. The setting is a 2018 not too different from the world we live in, except for some minor details you will uncover.
As the title says, this is not a waifu quest. It might look like it, but you will soon have to face plot twists and painfully difficult decisionsjust like in the last quest
For whoever might want it, here's my twitter
https://twitter.com/?lang=en
The quest will start next post. Good luck and have fun!
The tepid morning light gently caresses your face as you slowly begin to wake up.
The bed and the sheets feel warm, a comforting heat that comes from sharing your bed with someone else. You lazily roll on your side, and your gaze meets hers.
Your companion, unlike you, seems to be wide awake. She must have been up for the past 15 minutes or so, patiently waiting for you to join her. Her dark, long black hair and her deep brown eyes seem to contrast with her pale complexion in a way that makes her look almost like a porcelain doll.
“Good morning, Alex”, she says while smiling timidly.
“Good morning”, you respond, getting closer to hug her and kiss her on her forehead. “You know what day it is, right?”
She nods enthusiastically. After being with you for 6 months, according to the recently approved European Laws on Companions, she can be and she must be formally registered as a citizen of your country.
Of course, the debate on companions had been especially difficult both in the national and the European parliament, given that companions aren’t exactly ‘human beings’. One day, one of them might just pop into your life, especially after experiencing heartbreak or love woes in general.
The recognition of companions right is relatively new, and it has its opponents in all those who consider companions not to be entirely human or otherwise detrimental to the fabric of society. Its advocates claim that companions, despite their imaginary nature, are now fully functioning humans, deserving of legal protections and human rights.
Eventually this interpretation came to be more widely accepted, and hence companions, who might be anywhere from 6 to a couple of weeks old but look in their mid-twenties, have now legal capacity.
(1/2)
>>44565052
(2/2)
Your companion slowly gets up, the beautiful curves of her tall and slender figure accentuated by the dark pajamas she’s wearing. There could be no doubt that a body and a face like that might only belong to a companion, given how almost unnaturally perfect they are.
No man could claim that his companion is anything short of his ideal girl.
“I think I will be cooking breakfast. Would you care to join me?”
>”Sure”
>”Actually I would like to check the news, if you don’t mind”
>actually I would like to check the news, if you don't mind
Cryomancer of royal blood has fled to the mountains and released an everlasting winter over the land. You can not kill her, too strong. How would you reason with her?
Reasons for her departure = the same as in pic related.
>>44564704
I'm pretty sure there was an oglaf comic about this.
>>44564723
Yeah I remember it. I'd write "no retarded suggestions" but this is 4chan.
>>44564704
Fuck her
Good afternoon, dear /tg/. I have nothing going on today, and the thread last night seemed to generate some interested.
I would request that we vote for something a little more engaging than humans, elves, or dwarves.
First race to three votes, and first environment to three votes.
>>44564038
Draconians, Islands.
>>44564038
Unseen, ruins.
Brainwash everyone, rule the world from the shadows without killing.
>>44564165
>>44564189
If no further votes appear in the next twenty minutes or so, I'll flip a coin for races between these two, and use the other's environment, if that's amiable to the both of you.
>be dark Eldar
>capture Ork boy
>paralyze him
>take him on every raid and force him to watch as you get all the fun
>congrats you just cvcked an ork
>>44562452
I think that would be the only way a Deldar could torture them.
>>44562838
I Agree
>>44562452
What an empty life that poor Ðeldar must live.
