Okay, backstory, I'm writing a 5e campaign that involves the players going to the feywild and ending up in a fey court. I'm trying to build up a colorful cast of characters here for the players to scheme with and bounce off each other, and pictures really help show these characters off.

Ran a one-shot where the city of Greyhawk appeared one day on the shores of the Misty Lake. The party were low-level guards and merchants trying to survive amidst all the swarming youkai and spontaneous danmaku battles. They almost got eaten by Rumia, almost did a dine and dash on Mystia, and almost got lured into the bamboo forest by Tewi before Keine took them in at the human village.

Brand new to 40k here, I've been reading up on the lore lately and I'm really loving it but something is bugging me about the Chaos Gods. Why don't they ever directly intervene? I could only imagine just how powerful someone like Khorne is but instead of actually getting out there and fighting he lets others do it for him. Is the Emprah keeping them at bay or something?

Have a Chummer 5 question. Have a magical character with some ware installed, which drops the maximum magic down. Chummer, however, instead of reducing one from the current magic just says I'm overspending a special attribute point? What's the deal? Am I mathing wrong? I thought I had to pay for 4 points of magic, take the ware, and that'd drop me down to 3.

What are those narrative/story games that seem to be all the rage nowadays? I've been out of the loop, the most 'narrativist' system I've played is FATE and I think those kind of games might roll better with my group than GURPS/WoD we used to play.
What is your opinion on those newfangled games? What's your experience with them? Which of those games are actually playable and which are memes? Which ones should I look into?
P.S. This is the first GNS image I found, I don't actually know shit about Forge theory.
FATE is one I'm familiar with, it's something of a generic system, and some people think it's rules lite, but it's really not. The GM doesn't have complete control, and the players (Players as opposed to characters) have a significant degree of it.
The basic system is that there's a metacurrency around which most mechanics run called fate points. Characters, locations, and scenes in general all have narrative Aspects that can be invoked by either the player(s) or the GM for positive or negative effects, often in the form of +2 or -2 to rolls. An example from the book is a character with "Not the Face!" as an aspect. This could be used by the GM to compel the character to avoid a fight, or it could be used by the character to aid in a defense roll as they try extra hard to not be hit, or anything else that makes sense given that short sentence. If a player doesn't want to be compelled, they spend a point to negate it. If they accept the compel, they gain a point to use for themselves, so there's an ongoing economy as points move around. They can also be spent to add Aspects to a scene and affect the narrative on a meta level. Attributes and Skills are basically the same thing and are rated from 0 to +5 or beyond. There are abilities called Stunts that are similar to Feats or Advantages, that let you use skills in different ways or give you bonuses in specific situations or similar effects.
Once a group gets used to it, it's very fast and new things can be introduced on the fly, but it really does require everyone to be on board with it because of the shared narrative control. One player moping about it can drag the whole thing down.

So "fantasy heartbreakers" which promise the world but run on cobwebs and Real Roleplaying, are relatively easy to churn out.

Topic of the Thread: How do we fix the PHR heavy guns?
So I am not sure if that previous guy's math is right.
I remember reading that essentially the heavy guns have the same damage verse medium and below targets at 3+ and slightly worse at 4+. Bad at 5+.
They only do slightly more damage against standard targets with H&S at 3+ and 4+. I think the idea is that when ships with more special rules come out you will get more damage out of them and they will become more useful.
I suppose I would support a damage increase of 2, but because of the way it needs to be balanced the price of those ships might have to increase. Both the problem ships, Achilles and Perseus also suffer from other issues. Torpedoes suck and the Perseus is kind of on paper inefficient. Assuming torps get fixed then both ships get small price increases as needed to insure med guns still get used, but heavies are not bad chocies.
The cannonades could be different in that they simply get more shots, but stay at damage 1 to fit the way they are modeled. Again with price increases as needed.

It isn't a real world weapon.
The UCM uses a UM-3 Assault rifle. It is described as a modular bullpup weapon that can be convert to a LMG, sniper, or sub-machine gun variant. It fires caseless ammo, which can be standard, AP, venom tipped, or explosive rounds.
