Raven's Progressive Matrices - how accurate is this test?

I find that on this test specifically, I tend to score 7-15 points lower than I would on a test that tests for verbal ability, rotations, or speed, etc.

It's a meme tier test that is used to detect retarded neckbeard virgin. If you dont get 120 on it you're a retard.
>>
>>8565713

It's the most accurate and least culturally-dependant of all IQ tests. If you tend to score higher on verbal than on the abstract parts, this means you are over-educated for your level of intelligence. The abstract parts are the measure of your raw brainpower.

Will doing more and more of these types of problems increase my score artificially?

Medical forums are crap and no one seems to have an experience to describe so I have come to you guys.

I'm on wellbutrin/bupropion, What will happen if I drink alcohol?

For extra information for a possible anonymous diagnosis: Cough syrup like mucinex makes buzz like I took prescription strength pain killers not unpleasant. also no increased heart rate leading to possibility of impending stroke.

I need to know since my 21st birthday is soon and I drink for the taste and to take off the edge when I feel too stiff.

If I were to make a youtube video with gameplay, and I was able to change the color of the gameplay to make it look abit blueish, or purpleish, would it help at all? With color psychology having certain effects on feelings and stuff.

Blue would make it calmer, along with alternate music

But in general, yeah, look up colour psychology

If I had a video where im pissing people off, would having a blueish filter benefit me? Would people watch longer? Or just get tired and leave because of it?

Hey /sci/, I could use some advice.

Long story short i'm going back to college, but i'm pretty apprehensive about it since I haven't done the school thing in a while. What would be a good way for me to refresh myself on math for example?

How old are you? When did you quit? At what level did you stop?
>>
>>8568372
Find a math book, do problems, note which ones you missed, study the relevant concepts

It'd be helpful if you mentioned what degree you're going back to college for.
>>
>>8568386
>>8568395

21 years old, stopped right before calculus.

I'd like to go back and get my degree in engineering technology. It isn't quite as math intensive as some other degrees but still has a decent bit.

From the MSDS sheet for Ethanol:

>In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Cover the irritated skin with an emollient. Remove contaminated
clothing and shoes. Cold water may be used.Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse. Get medical
attention.
>get medical attention

So if I spill alcohol on my hand, I need to go see a doctor? I know they don't want to be held liable but how am I supposed to know when I'm ACTUALLY supposed to see a doctor when the go-to for literally EVERY chemical exposure is "seek medical attention."

I saw a thread about this on /pol/ a while ago, someone was asking how to "fix" Austrailia. An anon came in and said that if artificial mountains were built in the nirth of the country, it could change wind patterns and make The Outback arable. Is this true? How practical is it? How long would such a process take?

If the Moon had an atmosphere* like Earth, what would the weather be like? Would there be constant wind from the day side to the night side? Would the change in temperature between day and night be more mild?

How does it press the car down? This looks like these pictures explaining why wings get lifted up.

>>8567720
It's similar to airplane. 3rd Newton law, wind "slides"up thus pushing the car down
>>
>>8567720
See how all the smoke trails are higher after they have passed the car? The car pushing the air up results in the air pushing the car down, as per Newtons third law.

Iirc this is actually one of those things that's pretty artbitrary. On one hand I agree with your logic, but then I don't know where zero belongs.
>>
>>8567264
OP is correct, 0 is not a number, rather it is a mathematical symbol to describe 'nothing' which is why so many operations with 0 are undefined. 2x2=4 which has to mean 4/2=2. That logic has to work for any number. But 0 fails to do this since 2x0=0 but 0/0 != 2
>>
>>8567374
what other operations are undefined with zero you sperg
