From the MSDS sheet for Ethanol:
>In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Cover the irritated skin with an emollient. Remove contaminated
clothing and shoes. Cold water may be used.Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse. Get medical
attention.
>get medical attention
So if I spill alcohol on my hand, I need to go see a doctor? I know they don't want to be held liable but how am I supposed to know when I'm ACTUALLY supposed to see a doctor when the go-to for literally EVERY chemical exposure is "seek medical attention."
its just a template. sds replaced msds in america anyway.
>how will i know
it will say something here is an example

Apparently ld50 in rats is about 3.5g / kg
That must have been a fun study

At least the rats probably didn't know what was going on by the time they were drunk enough to die.

MSDS aren't about safety, they're about legal ass covering.
>>8568565
they can't calculate the ld50 for humans based on the amount of people who have gotten alcohol poisoning?
