Actually a guy did do that. The only person to find it weird was the girl he was looking for, she was obviously distressed he went that far out of his way to find her(i'm also pretty sure she had no literal idea anyone was even looking for her until they suddenly sprung it on her when they actually located her/found out who she was.)

I listen to music if there's nothing else going on for an extended period of time. I also listen to it at work, to make time go by faster.

What pisses me off is that they only listen to two types of music:

if companionship is something you crave, it's probably better not to give up. according to what you said, you are aware that you are making mistakes by getting too attached, too quickly.

maybe instead of accepting being alone forever, you should try to continue talking to people but adjust your approach and your attitude toward people. maybe you need to lower expectations in the early phases of relationships. it can be an active process where if you notice yourself getting to be too invested, you back off emotionally and try to put it into perspective.

i think it would harder to accept being alone forever if you actually want friends than it is to accept that relationships won't be as immediately close as you're hoping for.
