The figure has disappeared into the night, and you’re feeling somewhat tired yourself after that ordeal. You start moving towards Kakariko, going over what your plans are mentally.

The Shadow Temple is your next goal. Impa said she was going there for a reason. With any luck, you will find her again there. That... Sheikah following you might mean there’s more involved here than first seems. In any case to head there immediately might not be the best idea, all things considered.

You could stay in town, you know a few people there, and rest up for the following day. Maybe Madas’ place, you could rest up there, then get stocked up on supplies in the morning. Compare notes if he’s willing to discuss things.

At the same time... you find yourself reaching for your house key. Home. The place you’ve thought of as it for years now, at least. It might not hurt to return there for the night and get some real rest, sleep in your own bed again.

>A. You will be fine, head to the Shadow Temple
>B. Get some rest at Kakariko, maybe go to Madas’ place
>C. Find an Inn at Kakariko and sleep there for the night
>D. You know what? Might as well spend the night at home
>E. Something else?

D. You know what? Might as well spend the night at home

Let's get a good night's sleep then tomorrow we can go shopping and stock up before we head to our next destination. We have two empty bottles so a Red Potion or two couldn't hurt. Plus didn't we want to see if Viol still has that discounted Hookshot?

Demons. Eldjötnar. Oni. Asura. Jinn. Monsters.

Whatever they are called, they now rule the world. On December 21st, 2012, the barrier separating Earth from what is now called the Eskathos ruptured, and these twisted creatures emerged from the Breach to gorge themselves upon the flesh and souls of humanity and sate their endless appetite for wrath, pride, envy, insincerity, falseness, boasting, and bellicosity.

Mad Wendigo spreads frozen wastelands and devours all those unlucky enough to cross its path. Radiant Lucifer spreads his devout cult of personality throughout the world. Jealous Andhaka abducts the wives of his despairing subjects. Two-faced Shezmu drowns northern Africa in orgies of wine and blood. Hidden Vucub-Caquix usurps day and night in South America. Arrogant Arachne weaves her monstrous fashion out of hair shaved from the heads of beautiful maidens. Evil-eyed Balor wages war and battle in Ireland and its neighbors to expand his kingdom.

Demons were not the only ones to return, however. Soon after the Breach opened, the Relics awakened their power. Only these men and women, mortal embodiments of divine weapons and tools, hold the power to match the forces of the Eskathos.

Excalibur and its Sheath arose first, followed by the Thunderbolt, the Tower of Babel, the Brahmastra, Gungnir, the Was and the Smoking Mirror.

The Relics defend human civilization and gather their strength until the day comes when they can lay siege to the Breach and assail the Eskathos itself.

You are one of them.

You throw the towel in the hamper after drying your hair and crash in a massaging recliner. Vibrating chairs are another service offered by the gym. Francis is already here, sipping on a bright red cocktail, and Orianne, Selene and Natsumi are just stepping out of the changing room to join you.

A hot shower, a relaxing chair and whatever drinks you can smuggle into the base while the Commander is busy. It's not a bad way to relax after a stressful mission.

Everyone else sits down and you all just stare at the floor, not knowing what to say.

"So." Francis breaks the silence in between two sips of his straw. "That happened. And now it's over."

"Three down, four left," you say. "The others shouldn't be as disturbing. Except maybe Andhaka, I guess."

Sure, the demon lords all like excess, but what are the odds that another one likes to stuff humans until they become morbidly obese and then bleed them dry to make wine?

Higher than you'd think, probably.

"Has there been any news about… treatment?" Selene asks.

"The Asklepian is active," Orianne says. "It shouldn't be too difficult to heal the people we rescued."

"And now that America and Africa are no longer under constant threat, it will be easier to move reinforcements," Natsumi adds. "We will have an advantage no matter where we go next."

Where you go next is either going to be Europe Lucifer, Balor or Arachne, or India for Andhaka.

- "Let's just relax while we can."

Aw shit, it was dubs. I remember though. WRAITH renames /r9k/ Nidus, and colonizes /b/ renaming it Rebus. They constructed a giant swastika monument on Nidus in remembrance and honor and mourning for /pol/ while also helping the Pollacks colonize Tumblr.

Humans have fallen. Nobody remembers why anymore. Be it superflu, nuclear warfare, war, global warming, global cooling, a giant meteor sunstrikes, an economic collapse, it's all gone. Of course a few sites still remain. Faces etched in cliffs, massive walls that hold back the forces of the river, bits of glass and plastic. Books are gone, nobody reads. You speak different languages, but nobody remembers what they're called or where their from anymore.

Nevermind that, who are you?

Heaven!

The gentle simmering from the pan is the first to herald the coming bliss, more beautiful even than the rustle of coppery leaves in autumn or a childhood lullaby. Quickly following in its steps is the scent, that wonderful, intoxicating, magical scent of the divine meal frying to perfection as droplets of fat trickle down the meaty wrinkles. This is the promise, a man-made sunrise of the culinary arts; A breakfast that truly honours the Gods Above; Eggs and Bacon.

Though the thoughts passing through my mind as I watch the creation of the edible wonder by Camille's hands, thoughts such as how she was able to afford a meal like this, or how it can be that she's cooking in Kerstin and Klemens' home but neither of them are anywhere to be seen, or even questions about yesterday's events, I find myself incapable of bringing voice to any of them. Questions are going to have to wait, they'd just get in the way right now.

To the left of the already overwhelmingly succulent stage, a second miracle unfolds as thick, milky-white pancake batter slowly creeps across a blackened iron surface to eventually cover the entirety of its own frying pan. The newly formed landscape falls quiet for a moment as it solidifies, slowly shaping itself into rivers and hills until its holy creator silently decrees its time to be over, flipping the tiny world over to reveal the true masterpiece of golden brown beneath. If I didn't know better, I would think that magic was involved, somehow, but even the craziest witch wouldn't mix magic and food, right?

"Don't forget to blink, Nadja." A voice from far away seems to grab hold of me, forcibly carrying me back to a far more mundane world, one that moves at a pace my eyes deem far too rapid even as my mind tries to assure them it has always been like this. I'm not so sure myself right now, but at least Camille's cooking is still here.

"You look as if you'd never seen a kitchen before." She teases as she continues working on the wonder in front of her.

"Eheh, well.." I probably may as well not even try to hide my embarrassment right now. I really got caught in the moment for a while there. "It's just been a really long time since the last time I had something this good."

"Hm-hmm," She hums with an amused smile on her lips. "I think we've both earned this today, so why don't you go sit down while I finish up. It'd be a shame if you were to drool all over the floor, after all!"

"I-I-I wasn't drooling!"

"..Was I?"

The remaining moments of waiting away from the sidelines are truly excruciating. Realizing I did not even offer to help, I hurriedly busy myself with setting the table but even that provides only a brief distraction. I already know this kitchen from the times when Kerstin and Klemens' father have invited us over for dinner. I wonder when he'll do that again. He really has been away for a while now, hasn't he? I like Sunday School when Kerstin is teaching, and she definitely does her best, but she must really miss her papa a lot after all these weeks. Or is it months now? I kind of forgot how long it's been. Quite long, definitely. I wonder if something's gone wrong on his trip to-

"Bon appétit!" Camille cheerfully announces accompanied by the clatter of the ceramic plates sliding across the table, their contents of perfect red, yellow, and white immediately provoking an embarrassingly loud growl from my stomach. Even now the grease is gently dripping from the strips of bacon, merging with the white and gold egg below while on the side the puffy and soft pancakes-

"You're doing it again, Nadja."

Oops! Guess I should stop staring and actually try a bite of the meal before it goes cold. Now THAT would be a crime against the Gods! Even if it couldn't possibly be as good as-

..

..

"This is amazing!" It's exactly as good as I imagined. Maybe even better, somehow! "How did you learn to cook like this!?"

"Ha! You like it then?" Camille responds with far more composure that I could possibly muster right now. "I mostly taught myself, though. I mean obviously Mom taught me the basic stuff, but mostly I just really like cooking. Something like this is almost impossible to mess up, but still, glad you like it!"

"You cook a lot, then?" I do LIKE cooking, but it's also a lot of work and nothing I cook turns out this well!

"Mhm, sure." She says as she finishes chewing the latest bite. "Actually, I'm saving up money just for that. I want to have my own restaurant somewhere, but I still need-"

"A restaurant!? Like a magical restaurant?"

"Yeah?" She raises an eyebrow questioningly at my outburst. "It's not weird! You met Sylph, right? 'Elder' Sylph, I guess, at your initiation you know? She runs her own tea shop and it's not weird at all! Just because some old hags thinks they have the right to tell others what to do with their lives doesn't make it so!"

Uhh, is she still talking to me or someone else? She seems to realize the same, suddenly falling silent and awkwardly turning her attention back to the food. Maybe this is the right time to talk about the thing.

>2/3
>>
>>676445
"So uhm, Camille, about that werewolf thing-"

"No!"

"Huh? No?"

"No work talk now! This is breakfast time, and when it's breakfast time you don't talk about work. Save it for later."

"Oh, uhh, okay? Then... Where's Kerstin and Klemens? They live here so how come-"

"I asked Kay-Kay to find somewhere else to stay while I finish my work here. Now, no more work talk!"

Eh? I know Camille was doing something for Kerstin and that was why she was staying here, but I didn't think that question was 'work talk'. She seems to insist on not talking about this, so I'll have to think of something else.

Luckily, there's plenty of other things I'd like to ask about. For one, it'd definitely be nice to know more about all this daemon business, and maybe to hear what she thinks about what I did yesterday. Did I really deserve to be punished like that? Camille may be young still, but she's not an apprentice anymore so she should definitely know something about this.

And something else that's been bugging me ever since the encounter with the daemon Vanda and how helpless she made me feel, is that I really don't know anything about fighting. Well, fighting like a witch that is. Shouldn't I learn that? Asking her to teach me something about that might be good too. I'll need to know if I want to protect people from bad things, after all. And if I get into trouble it'd be important too.

Lastly there's... Well, there's the thorn Vanda gave me. It can apparently reverse any transformation. Which means, it could make Amalia normal again, right? She would want that, right? But... But the cat ears are so cute! I don't want them to go away! But I should still... shouldn't I? It's the right thing to do! But... It'd be nice to hear what she thinks I should do.

>Please pick ONE of the below and optionally a write-in as well.

>Ask Camille what she knows about daemons.
>Ask Camille to teach me about how witches fight.
>Ask Camille what she thinks I should do about the Amalia situation.
>Something else? [Write-in!]

>Nadja's Notebook is intended to serve as your reference material for witchy things and other stuff related to the quest. It's divided into the following categories:

>[UPDATED] 1. General Witchcraft: Intro to Nadja's Notebook as well as any witch-related topics outside of the three major arts will go here when Nadja learns about them: http://pastebin.com/FvemAzKN [UPDATED TO INCLUDE ENTRY ABOUT DAEMONS]
>2. Herbalism: Everything about herbs and how to use them to make potions. Also contains Nadja's notes about potions she has encountered but don't know how to make herself: http://pastebin.com/vMWeFhd0
>3. Pencraft (Yes I renamed it because I think it sounds cooler): Hexes and wards that Nadja knows of and how to make them: http://pastebin.com/BTUR8F94
>4. Infusion: The art of bestowing magical properties to items that otherwise had none. For example, the creation of wands or flying brooms. Pastebin will be added once Nadja actually learns about any of this.
>5. Nadja's Notes: Where Nadja writes her notes about various things, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PLAYERS REQUEST THAT SOMETHING BE ADDED TO THE NOTEBOOK. You can even request to have old events added, so don't be afraid to ask: http://pastebin.com/76btWGte
>6. Characters: Nadja doesn't actually keep a written list of people she knows, but it seemed a list would be useful since a character could easily be absent from the quest for a month or more of real time, and it seemed more fun to write it in Nadja's voice even though she has no reason to ever write it. Anyway, you can find that here: http://pastebin.com/GbRsNuw3

Your transport slowly lowers and you find yourself looking at the same space port you had used to arrive on Dromund Kaas only yesterday. The building seems smaller this time, perhaps due to the realization of how quickly this place will become a common facet of your work as you move from mission to mission. The door opens and you exit the vehicle with Taral closely behind.

"Now then my lord, to assist you on this and further missions Darth Incarnus has seen you to be outfitted with a Fucy-class Interceptor, as well as a military personnel to pilot the ship as well as give you a degree of ground level support. His name is Lieutenant Haust and he will be working with you moving forward."

Watcher 18 says, as the two of you proceed onward into the space port.

"He has been cleared for knowledge pertaining to the Shadow Wardens, though he should be kept on a need to know basis. Perhaps once he has proven himself he can be okay'd for a higher clearance. For now he knows that he is serving the Apprentice of Darth Incarnus, the High Warden of our organization, and that he is bound to secrecy on the things he learns and sees while under your command."

She continues as she leads you into the space port proper. Once more you are given a wide berth as people try their best to avoid both you and Taral, who lets loose a low growl every now and again followed by an soft canine chuckle.

>What do you do?

>Say nothing, and move on.
>"What kind of person is Lieutenant Haust?"

You are Jason Fisher, 4th grader and best friend of a three-headed dog monster named Oscar. You and your father have recently moved from your small hometown in Virgina to Greensville, a modest sized city in northern Ohio. You have been enrolled in Lakeside Elementary School, and are still trying to adjust to the change.

Yesterday, you went to hang out at your new friend Tyler's place, where you finally encountered his monster; Delta, a human-shaped robot that can control technology. Oscar was none to pleased to meet Delta, and Delta didn't seem terribly happy to see him either, having tried to run the both of you out of the house. The squabbling was put to an end though by you and Tyler, when Oscar smelt that slime monster nearby again. You both snuck out to deal with it, but found the monster confronting that weird girl from your class, who you learned was named Ellie. Turns out Oscar was right that she wasn't normal, as she skewered the slime monster's heart with her sharp hair, before going back to digging through the trash can. When she found out you were there, she got very angry, but not for the reason you thought. She'd been eating out of a garbage can, and you found out she actually had run away from her foster home, and had been living out here for a week. Feeling bad, you stayed with her while Tyler brought back food from his house, then promised her you would see her again tomorrow at the park with new supplies for her.

You look over the contents in your backpack, emptied of school supplies and now stuffed with your room's spare blanket and a few boxes of animal crackers. Your dad agreed to take you to the park today, though you didn't tell him why you wanted to go. You told him you were bringing some of your toys with you, as an excuse to carry your bag along.

“I still don't think you should hang around that girl.” Oscar grumbles behind you.

“She ran away from home Oscar, what else could I do?”'

“Tell dad and let the adults handle it.”

“They'll just take her back to her foster home then.”

“And? Since when is that our problem?”

You sigh, and turn around to see your three-headed companion lazing on the floor, one head lifted up to speak with you. “Oscar, why do you hate her so much? I mean, she overreacted when we saw her eating trash food, but that's over already.”

“I don't trust monsters, and I don't trust Weird even more. Besides, she smells awful.”

You shake your head, and turn back to your bag. Oscar was always like this, he was your best friend but sometimes he really was a big jerk. Your backpack still has some room in it if you wanted to bring something besides the blanket and crackers, was there something else you should bring?

>Yes, grab some (write-in)
>No, we're good to go.

>Information

This quest takes place long before the events of The Last Airbender. Long before Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, Kuruk, or Yangchen. You play as a young Earthbender from a small village in one of the many Kingdoms scattered across the main continent. As a powerful villain strives to dominate the world, you will be forced to make choices that can stop it, aid it, or have no effect whatsoever.

>Rules

After each update I make, there will be a voting period of ten minutes. Once ten minutes have passed, whatever option has the most support will be the winner.

Write-ins are accepted, but only when specified If you see a write-in option, suggest whatever you like. If not, choose from the options I have provided.

Sometimes, rolls will be required. I will assign them, and they will operate under a d100 system. You will have three chances, and if one of the rolls succeeds, you pass. There are no crits, but I do take into account how much you succeed or fail by.

I reserve the right to veto certain write-ins, but will try to avoid doing so.

I hope you all have fun

Let the sadism commence
>>
It's time.
>>
After many days of travel, and two life-or-death situations, your team has finally finished its journey across the plains. The vast mountain range, within which lies the Northern Air Temple, is finally in sight.

And, sitting just before the mountains is the village you have been searching for.

The difference in the appearance of the village compared to how it was depicted on the map gets your attention immediately. On your map, it seemed little more than a tiny collection of small buildings, making your own village appear massive by comparison.

But, what you see here is an impressive-looking settlement boasting strong and sturdy looking structures, many of which appear to have been constructed only recently. The amount of people you see milling about also far exceeds your expectations, and you find yourself wondering just how up-to-date your own map was.

If the difference surprises the others, it doesn't seem to bother them. Mauya gives a relieved smile, clearly overjoyed to be back in some semblance of civilization.

"So, what do you say we stay here for a night or two?" the Waterbender suggests hopefully.

"I don't think that's such a good idea," Lantana tells her. "There's no telling when that hunter will catch up with us again."

"Isn't that all the reason to stay here, then?" Mauya asks. "Safety in numbers?"

"The people here do not appear to be warriors," Sansha remarks, studying those that make their way around the village. "If we are forced to fight, they won't be of much help. Odds are they'll get in the way, and many of them will be hurt."

Lantana gives an agreeing nod. "Right. So, whatever we do, let's try not to stay for too long."

>A. You should see if there are any Airbenders around; one could fly you to the Temple

>B. Ask if she thinks bringing Pengsong into the village is a good idea

>C. Suggest just buying a few supplies, then moving out

>D. You agree with Mauya; you should stay for a night or two

>E. Something else

You are a coalition of parties in the Kingdom of Germany, and have recently seen a great victory over the Allies in France and Poland. After crippling the British in the Battle of Scapa Flow and the bombings of Portsmouth and Plymouth, you joined Japan in invading the Allied territories, with considerable success. Germany now has friendly governments both in the East and the West. But the war is not won yet. To the North, Great Britain stands steadfast, an enormous fort constantly threatening the German heart. And in the South Free France, led by the French general De Gaulle, retakes France's holdings in Africa one by one. And the worst is yet to come.

The British have struck, and the British have struck hard. Armed with a host of planes, estimated to be well over 12.000, they reduced a quarter of Duseldorf to rubble, and the cities of Köln, Bochum and Bonn have all suffered similar fates. Reports are even coming in of a few planes dropping their payloads on Hamburg and Bremerhaven. One thing is clear: the British do not mean to be idle during this war.

I am furious with this war and mobilize transport and the army under the control of my liberal strongholds.

We send a message to the Nords that we will be immigrating there and taking all our possessions and population that wants to leave.

We will leave the moment the Nords tell us they accept us.

Once again I apologize for being late. So this should have not happened. While I would like to dot the landscape with AA installments, that is not feasible. Instead, we must destroy their airforce like we destroyed their precious navy. Have whatever spies we may have in the country try to find out where a majority of the planes are coming from. Also, we must work on a reliable radar system so we do have a warning system. Also, for payback, we need to decide which city we are going to drop the nuke on

“One day, I will return to the southern lands and I will claim my birthright,” - Attributed to the White Tyrant, validity disputed.

You've always been interested in studying other Hunters from afar, watching their ways and whims. Perhaps it's a way of understanding yourself, or perhaps you do it for a comparison – testing yourself against them. Whatever your reasons are, you savour the chance to learn and observe.

One thing that particularly interests you is how they deal with the slow journey through the northern passage. A week, trapped in the iron guts of a great ship, can do strange things to anyone. For a Hunter, used to nature's dark and out of the way places, it can be even worse. Boredom, isolation and the featureless expanse beyond encourage macabre obsessions or unsettling behaviours.

Or, you think as you watch Ilse and Stukov swiping at each other with long wooden oars, it can make people act like complete idiots.

At least it's all in good humour, a bit of harmless sparring. Neither of them is seriously trying to injure the other – although, admittedly, it's only the first day of the journey. There will be plenty of time for that later.

A cheering knot of soldiers and sailors have gathered around the pair of Hunters, their shouts drifting out across the ever-shifting fields of ice. The Majestic carves a path ahead of you, while the Ghoul skulks in the wake of your passing. Onwards, this lonesome caravan forges northwards, and every single soul on the deck knows what waits there. It's that knowledge that fuels the cheering, a desperate desire for escapism and entertainment. Silence is the enemy, for dark thoughts easily form during long moments of emptiness.

The cheering reaches a new peak as Ilse slips and falls to the cold metal of the deck, shrieking out mad laughter as Stukov jabs at her with the oar. When their struggles cease, so too does the riotous atmosphere, and the gathered soldiers slowly start to drift away. Their shared violence forgotten, Stukov sets his oar aside and offers Ilse his hand, helping her back up to her feet. Laughing and joking with each other, they amble below deck.

-

The Ogre's vast and cavernous cafeteria is busy, surging with crowds, and yet you've got plenty of empty seats at your table. It's not something that surprises you.

“Sort of feels like we should be eating out of dog bowls,” Stukov jokes, forcing a smile, “Don't you think?”

“I'm telling you, they don't have to put up with this kind of shit in the north,” Ilse shakes her head, “We'd be heroes to them, I was reading this book about it. It said-”

“Damn it, Ilse!” Hyde snaps, pointing his knife at her, “Why are you even here? You know we're going to kill the White Tyrant and not join him, right? Keep up this treasonous talk, and it's going to get you in some serious trouble.”

“I'm here because it's my job,” smirking, sneering even, Ilse meets Hyde's gaze and his challenge, “And I'm damn good at my job. Why are you getting so worked up, anyway, did I strike a nerve? Maybe you're the one who's thinking about getting a better life in the north – I bet it would be real easy for someone to vanish. It's gonna be chaos up there, after all. Damien Hyde – missing, presumed dead. Got a nice ring to it, don't you think?”

Just shut up, you groan, all you wanted was one meal in peace. Is that really too much to ask?

Silence and staring eyes meet your comment. Without an argument to keep things flowing, nobody quite knows what to say.

“That book,” Krebs rumbles after a long while, “What did it say?”

“I'll lend it to you,” Ilse says breezily, “You can still read, can't you?”

“...I think so,” the old Hunter replies, his answer coming after a long moment of thought.

“I'm just here for the money,” Stukov offers later, in a half-hearted attempt at building a bridge, “I'd like to retire young, while I've still got my best years ahead of me. That's why I took this job – I take any work that I can. What about you, Hyde, why did you sign up?”

“Long story, but I guess I did it to help keep people safe,” Hyde replies, his voice still wounded and resentful, “At the time, it didn't really seem like I had much choice in the matter, though. Now that I'm here, I'm starting to think that I made a massive mistake.”

“The only massive mistake around here is Ilse,” Stukov chuckles, “Don't pay her any mind. Speaking of her... did you really mean that, Ilse? You signed up because it's your job?”

“Because I'm good at my job, and I want to prove it. I want everyone to know that I was the Hunter who killed the White Tyrant,” she looks between you all, a challenge burning in her eyes, “Any of you got a problem with that?”

“A problem? No,” shaking his head, Stukov grins, “But it's awfully presumptuous. We're not even close to the target, and you're already claiming victory. You must really be confident about this... confident enough for a little wager, perhaps?”

“For a man who signed up for the pay, you're awfully quick to throw away your money,” Ilse jeers, “Yeah, I'll take any bet you have to offer. Later, mind – we're not finished here. Krebs, we all know why YOU signed up – no mystery there – but what about you, Henryk? You're the unknown element here, all brooding silences and secrets. What brought you out here? Money, duty... blood?”

If you told them the truth, you think to yourself, would they even believe you for a moment? No, any honest answer you could give them would be seen as a bad joke at best, a sign of madness at worst. With that thought in mind, you meet Ilse's eyes and give her a deliberately vague shrug.

You've got your reasons, you tell her plainly, and that's all you really have to say on the matter

“Like I said, the unknown element,” she snorts, amused by your answer, “Yeah okay, good one. Do me a favour, will you? Don't tell us why you're here. This way, we can pass the long hours with idle speculation. Here, I'll go first... the White Tyrant killed your childhood sweetheart. Am I close?”

This game is ridiculous, you laugh, utterly ridiculous.

“Ah, so it WAS close!” Stukov points an accusing finger at you, “Now you've got to tell us the real reason! I mean, you wouldn't want us spreading this kind of gossip, right?”

You're surrounded by madmen and idiots.

Later, in the shared dorm, you find yourself left alone with Ilse. Alone, that is, if you discount Krebs, who slumbers away in the background. Hyde and Stukov left a while ago, mentioning something about a game of cards down in one of the other dorms.

Ilse had laughed at them, genuine bitterness in her voice, and called them a pair of fools. If the crew won't eat and sleep with dogs, she asked, why would they play cards with them? For a moment, it had looked like another argument would develop, but then Hyde simply walked out. Probably the wisest decision he could have made, in retrospect. Ilse had seethed with anger for a while, but then she had settled down with a book.

The same book, you realise, that has given her all these dangerous ideas. Bound with scuffed brown leather, it has no title or author that you can see. She flicks through the pages without much apparent interest, and then she sets it aside.

“I'm not about to turn traitor, you know,” she announces suddenly, “You know, just in case you were wondering. The northerns have a lot of good ideas, but I couldn't live among them. I'd miss flushing toilets and shitty radio dramas too much.”

You laugh aloud at the crude simplicity of her words. So, you ask, is it a good book?

“Read it for yourself, if you like. I've got it pretty much memorised by this point,” picking it up, Ilse offers it over to you.

Accepting it, you take a look at the inside cover. Still no title, but it does have a name. Greta Bannerman.

>Thanks. Mind if I take a read now?
>Bannerman... your mother?
>How about you just tell me the good bits?

You won your first bout, and are now setting out on a diplomatic mission, though were sidetracked by signs of a beast called a Malgor.

(Last thread died rather quick, but that’s cause of unexpected IRL things.)

Dogai stepped on a bone, cracking it loudly and waking the lumbering beast, It rises from its bed of bones and mold, the Malgor starts toward Dogai, blood lightly dripping from its arrow wounds.

The two Majestic girls are far cries from each other. Freedom’s eyes wander and dart from place to place, she fidgets with the hem of her very patriotically colored skirt as the agent briefing the six of you keeps droning on about the strategic situation currently present in the occupied Polish city. You get the gist, you’ve even helped out their boys out few times. It’s really miraculous how they’ve managed to keep going after living under the thumb of the Krauts for so long. Freedom’s just that worth it, you guess. Magical Girl Freedom doesn’t seem to be listening at all as she shifts uncomfortably in her seat, still messing with her clothing.

Archer on the other hand, is listening with rapt attention, sitting ramrod straight. Her arm shoots straight up into the air like a schoolgirl wanting to ask a question. The agent’s finally stops his rambling long enough for Archer to pose her question.

“Can we expect to encounter, erh, supernatural entities during our deployment?” The agent shrugs in response.

“Perhaps. Expect to counter half gifted individuals at the very least. But the worst of the the worst will probably be sticking around their control and command location.” The agent gives your team a knowing glance.
“Well, someone has to take the hard jobs, right?” You offer with a smile, directing it at Freedom, she gives you an anxious smile of her own. Archer bombards the poor agent with more questions, allowing you an opportunity to sneak your way to a seat next to Freedom, who jumps slightly as you approach her. You grip her shoulder tightly, reassuringly.

“Just don’t do nothing stupid, and you’ll be right as rain! Leave the heroics to us.” She looks deeply into your eyes, before nodding slowly. It might not be the most encouraging thing to say, but you’d rather have her come home safe than not come home at all. America can’t afford to lose magical girls for nothing.

“Bu-but we’re supposed to be heroes, right?”

“And how many heroes got got by doing something silly? We’ll get plenty of glory after this blows over.” You show her your pearly whites and then creep back to your seat, resigning to listening the the agent’s lecture.

“We have evidence that says that they’ve been moving potentially magical materials to help crush the partisans in Warsaw once and for all. Supply depots around train tracks should be a good place to start your your search in.”

Josie clicks her tongue against the roof of her mouth in frustration.

“More sneaking around, this isn’t gonna be much fun is it.” She huffs as she shoves her hands into her pants pockets. Diane wraps an arm around her companion's torso, pulling the upset magical girl close to her

“Oh come on, it won’t be so bad. Just means you’ll have to punch people a bit quieter, cheri.” Josie turns away from her like a upset child. You’re dismissed from the briefing room, and quickly herded to the a car, to ferry you all to the local airbase. You spy those same stealth aircraft that took you from Italy to Egypt. You wonder if they’ll be able to penetrate German air defenses. That’s for the pilot to find out, you suppose.

The flight to Poland is relatively uneventful. The aircraft shifts and maneuvers due to turbulence, and on several occasions, you’re positive that you’re being attacked by enemy interceptors. You’re fast asleep when you’re awoken by the jostling of the plane landing in a green, picturesque meadow, another similarly calm and peaceful village sits in the middle of it. Well, it looks peaceful enough, until your spot the men armed with rifles approaching you. Upon closer inspection, they’re stern looking stone faced men. They’re not wearing any kind of uniform, or any other identifying article on their bodies. A handful of them level their rifles with you, and one of them steps in front of the other's, hand resting on his weapon. It looks like they’re armed with a mixture of old Soviet rifles and German ones. Diane’s hand rests on the hilt of her rapier. One of them shouts at you in an unfamiliar language. The man simply stares at you, before he questions you in very broken English.

“American witches yes, here to banish devils and hags being used by German scum, yes?”

IMPORTANT!: I am no longer doing Conquistador Quest due to the fact that I fucking lost everything thanks to anons not archiving, and me forgetting to put that shit on a character sheet. I am reporting to the gas chambers AS WE SPEAK!

Last time on Werewolf Reich, we BTFOed a few Slovaks, nommed and infected a small few, and got the max werewolf count to 20,000. And we are far from achieving that goal. In addition Leopold got bigger, stronger, and therefor cooler due to us making him the second in command. Oh, and we invited all the upper class folk to a party. And we got ditched at the last second, then had a wild time with the American general.
No. It wasn't tumbling. It was slav drinking.

It's been another week since you tried to raid Slovakia and succeeded. Hans has completed the hallway, and is mostly just finishing the floor and insulating it, while you've taken to playing fetch (forcibly) with other lycanthropes. Man, it's fun... Ivanka however has been trying to get in shape and has been doing well, as you can easily see her stomach has indeed shrunk to at least being slightly overweight, and barely crushes you in bed now, allowing for you to cuddle up against her... All while Comrade Pig rests on you. Daciana has been spending quite a bit of time out of the house with Leopold, and finally of course, you've been watching (and laughing) at the neighbors who seem quite terrified of going near your house. At least you don't have to worry about any kids on your lawn. And so Ivanka won't eat them, literally.

It's the late afternoon, Hans continuing to work on the hallway without failure, while your dressing for success in your bigger tracksuit that recently came in through the mail. Man, you love being huge and cuddly, this tracksuit only helps, right? You leave your household behind and get into the truck to drive off while waving goodbye to Hans, and to any neighbors that are out. At least half of them don't respond and the other half seem to pull guns on you, and you just drive away slowly. It seems you aren't really well-liked in this neighborhood since Ivanka ate your neighbors.

Of course, you pull up to City Hall's curb and get out and stretch... Today's going to be a rather long day.

Actions.

You decide to revisit the constitution today, and you briefly remember how you infected Pelevina... What happened to her, anyways?
Oh, right. She said she was scouting for the Allies a little, and would be back in a week or so. Huh.

Either way, you enter the City Hall, and look at the Constitution.

You have a rather egalitarian system, which is slightly weighed towards pro-lycanthropy and has a limited amount of democracy (at least in less important positions). You find a lot of notes from your father all over the constitution, clearing up eligibility, especially in the firearm part so 'some Jewish asshole won't just take my guns."
Huh. You never knew dad was slightly anti-semetic. Oy vey...

The only other things of note are that prisoners that assault lycanthropes etc may be eaten, and any protestors which you don't particularly like. There have been minor changes to it the constitution however, by the Democracists led by Adrian Staryznski, the Capitalist leader. And that guy you went over for a barbecue.

By the way, thread where we do the constitution: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/373063/

Hello! And welcome back, once again, to Magical Girl For Hire Quest!

You are Miranda Styles, a relatively unscrupulous magical girl currently working for Silver Eye Solutions, a umbrella corporation for magical girl mercenaries such as yourself, located in scenic The Intersection, a dimensional nowhere and everywhere where you rest and get details for your next job.

After a...presumably interesting night of drunken shenanigans (not that you'd remember), you, Lorelei, and Izumi decided to head home. Izumi came with you to wash up, and while she did, you picked out your next job- playing villain for a new MG team that needs some real-world experience. After Izumi came out, you had some harsh but heartfelt words to convince her to expand her horizons regard job selection, which she seems to have at least agreed to consider. A quick wash up of your own, a small purchase, and you're off to play teacher. Not that they're going to know, of course...

The first thing that you notice when you materialize is that it's much better decor than your last job. This place seems to be some sort of grand ballroom, complete with fancy chandeliers, Greek pillars, and high art. To be quite honest, the presentation is already getting high marks from you. A promising start, you suppose.

The second thing that you noticed is that you are rather...ethereal is a good word. You seem to be having a very big space and star motif going on; your body seems to be made out of some sort of luminescent material that isn't staying one color, but seems to hover around your usual blues and greens. A quick glance downward shows that you seem to have a spare eye in the middle of your chest- the brooch working no doubt. A quick test shows that it's easy to close and open- you decide to leave it closed for now. You can also feel something on your back- likely the cape, which seems to have been attached to your neck, and you think you can control it at will. You can't see your face, but you're intensely curious as to what it looks like, considering you can feel two long antennae coming from you head.

This was certainly one of your more drastic changes. And considering the man and woman in front of you, you're not sure whether that's a good or a bad thing.
They both seem utterly shocked at your appearance, judging by their wide eyes and slightly open mouths, although they quickly shake it off when they notice you staring and do their best to affect a neutral disposition.

“...Well,” the woman starts, and you can already hear a faint waver in her whispering voice. “I must say, it seems you description didn't quite you justice.” She's dressed in a fancy long, white dress; no frills, but it widens out at the end. You can see long boots that matter color scheme, as well as a very nice pair of formal gloves and a pearl necklace. Overall she gives off the picturesque look of someone that's influential, with a lot of money.

“Indeed, madam. I would say that Mister Salvatore’s claims were a bit...understated.” The man seems like your typical butler really, gray haired, with a sharp, thin beard and a typical three-piece butler uniform. “She strikes quite the imposing figure.”

The lady then addresses you properly. “Forgive my impertinence, great Madam Vellusia, but I was informed that, for a price, you would be willing to help me with a...concern of mine, m’lady. If you would be so willing to indulge me, perhaps we can discuss the matter over tea?” She’s holding her face very well, but you still get the feeling that she's more nervous than she's letting on.

> Play it up. It's not very often you get an opportunity like this… “Very well. I will grant this base request.”
> Be neutral about it. “Alright. If you want to.”
> Eh, she doesn't need to stand on ceremony. “You're paying anyway. Hit me.”
> Get straight down to it. “There’s a group of young girls that I'm supposed to be teaching the hard way, correct?”
