In terms of "liking" it, as with everything it's personal choice.
IMO, the few car spotter photographers on instagram I follow generally are pretty boring. When I'm at a circuit if I can see the wheels of a car at all I absolutely cannot freeze the wheels, or it'll look like the car is static. All the car spotter guys seem to have their cameras on modes that are fine for shots of static cars but not for moving ones and freeze the wheels/ruin the feeling of action and speed.

Soooo /p/ i'm going to buy my first DSLR, but i just don't know which one i should get. Don't want to make a mistake, since i don't want to spend my money on some Meme-Cameras.
Took all my pics with my smartphone and now i want to improve my photography. Heard the Canon d5500 is good for beginner, or the canon 5d mark I. The Nikon d3100 could be also a good beginner camera.
I just don't wan't to buy a shit tier camera, even i i could get a better one for the same money.
Will bump the Threads with some Tryhard pics from me

I have just acquired two SLR cameras.
Both are ZENIT, the black one is model 11 and the one on the right is an ET model. Both seem to work fine. The ET has a loose lightmeter, but I bet i can fix that.
11 is made by KMZ and ET is made by Belomo. Which one would you pick? Is there any significant difference in build quality?
I have three lanses. Two 2/58, one automatic made by KMZ, second manual by MMZ. The 4/200 lens is an aftermarket german-made lens.

Pick the cleaner Helios and enjoy your entry level slr. remember the viewfinder only shows the middle 66% of the screen. when you frame your shots you'll have some free space around, account for that.

I was just wondering how many of you abide by the demands of the event coordinator in these type of situations.
Last night I went to the fair with an xa, trying to be stealth, and I saw at least 8 hobbyists toting around L glass.
I guess my real question is can they really regulate "professional" camera equipment coming into a publicly accessible event?

In the US, any event can decide what they want to allow on their "rented / owned" space (this includes inside public parks and other government owned facilities - but this does NOT include a protest event unless they have rented space). If they decide you must wear a red shirt to be admitted and you walk up in a green shirt....they don't have to let you in. They can also tell you what you can say and do inside the event space and you are free to leave the event space to do as you please outside of it. The rub is, how well do the people at the entrances enforce the set rules and the people you saw may have been working for the event or press with a pass you didn't see.
