>let camera sit for one or two weeks
>turn it on to take still photos of a product for my online store
>f/16, tripod, same settings as always
>horrible spots everywhere
>put camera in sensor cleaning mode
>remove lens
>visible spots on the sensor, not sure if above or below the low pass filter
>definitely fungus, since I can see the stringy arms and they weren't there a few weeks ago, and I never take the lens off
>there's also some on the viewfinder

Alright, can this be fixed? It's an expensive camera (70D) and I don't want to replace it.

Can it be cleaned with just isoprolyn alcohol and blasting it with UV light?

what 35mm film do you recommend for a grunge tone? obviously some of this can be achieved in post if you get the film digitized, but each brand of film has a different end result texture to it. refer to the attached photo to see the style I'm describing/aiming for. cheers fellas

Just buy the cheapest shit possible. kodak gold 400 or some cheap fuji colour.
>>
>>2966317
is that just the most efficient way of doing it? or does the cheaper shit get this specific job done better?
>>
>>2966315
No film actually looks like that. That image's grungy look is from fucked up scanning and/or post-processing.

Buy whatever film you want and edit it to your liking.

There is no such thing as "film aesthetic"

I'm not interested in photograph at all, nor do I know much about it. BUT: I need to do a small series of about 5 pictures for a university class. I have access to a DSLR.

Can you recommend me something to photograph/Techniques etc. that are easy, fast and make for nice photos?

Assuming that you're taking Photo classes because you're in some sort of creative field you should just drop out as you have no creative want or need. Therefore making whatever you are majoring in completely pointless.

Stop being an uncreative fuck and learn to conceptualize.

My specialty is drawing and painting. However, I HAVE TO do a class on photo and video. Video was okay, but I absolutely don't give a shit about photo, that's why I thought to ask around here.

I don't understand how you can have a problem with this work if you're in a visual field.
Might as well take the easy grade and shoot homeless people

Do you prefer 35 or 50 mm? I use to shoot the most with a 35 on a crop which was actually more like a 56 mm.

Was I being foolish to buy 4 lenses to go with my new camera? I got a 40mm equivalent pancake, a 50 mm equivalent, a 90 mm equivalent, and a 120 mm equivalent macro

Granted I had a canon nifty fifty and a canon 50 mm 2.5 compact macro for my old canon crop to go with my 35mm and zooms so it isn't like I am great with not buying dumb lenses

The gear thread is literally about opinion questions such as which type of prime is better. Fuck you most have been born after we put no child left behind in schools because you can't read for shit.

Also it's a stupid question from a stupid boy. Use the focal length that lets you get the photos you want.

Why is actually nobody discussing (or even mentioning) the sigma cameras here?

sp quattro h

>asp-h
>51mp medium-format tier resolution
>superior non-bayer-array sensor
>4x larger pixels
>more accurate color sampling & sharper
>14bit raw
>2 monitors
>2.4mp evf
>under fucking $1000

? Maybe sigma just does not pay shillers.

Thanks

That's a basic Tint effect.

Make a layer above an image and fill it with any color (in this case red), then change the blending mode to 'Color'.

Simply use VSCO(mobile app) new Nike red preset.

A7s2 is the current low light king, though pretty much all current generation cameras do amazingly well in low light (even the entry level cameras).
>>
>>2962961
Best of the best, Sony A7sii
Best of the midrange, Sony A7s
Best of the budget, any second hand full frame non canon body

The A7s use sensors with much larger photosites (pixels), meaning far less noise at higher isos, the only factor to consider is that it "only" has 12 megapixels (obviously a trade off of the large photosites).

The A7sii has ibis, so a bit better for hand-held shots in low light if you're shooting stationary stuff.

No-one does better, it's sony's dedicated low light sensor that they refuse to sell to anyone else, the only other people that make sensors are canon and they're a decade behind when it comes to low light performance.
