Found a Soviet snapshitter at a flea market and it had one of these inside, didn't even know such thing existed as dedicated babby film. The roll is fully shot, I'm somewhat interested to see what kind of colors this shit has, but on the other hand I don't really feel like paying for C-41 lab job to get some asshole's babby photos they didn't even care about themselves.

Okay so apple released the new macbook pro and completely fucked over some photographers by taking away the critical ports they needed. Are camera manufacturers going to make cameras with usb type c connections?

Just bought myself a Canon DSLR, how do I turn on the filters on it to get an image like pic related? And how do I make it so that the flash doesnt automatically go off everytime I shoot?

worst bait in years
Who invented HDR and why? Has anyone taken a good HDR photo?
hello
too bored of reading bullshit on blogs, uv filters take away sharpness, they don't, they do but you don't notice, filters aren't needed anymore, they are, look at my smashed front element, they're needed only if you pee on you lens during a sandstorm, etc
so I've bought a b+w xs-pro clear just out of curiosity to "protect" a Nikon 50mm prime but after a day of shooting it seems to pick up more smudges and dirt than the lens itself and now I have three glass elements to clean (lens and both sides of the filter) instead of one.
should I return it?
what's your take on filters?
I used a filter once and killed m yself same day
>pickrelated.net
>>2969346
I take a lot of sunshits and a filtered lens is practically unuseable for a lot of those shots. UV filters turn your camera into a flare machine. but in more typical conditions it really doesn't make a difference.
>>2969346
why are you cleaning anything else except the outermost surface of the Hitler?
Anyway, not much point with filters for digital, save CPL and ND. If you use film, then UV or color filters can come in handy.
Use one for "protection" if it helps you put your mind at ease so you can concentrate on the shooting. Shit quality ones will give flares easily, but better MC ones are seldom an issue in day-to-day shooting unless you point your camera straight into the sun, as >>2969353 noted.
So I posted about a week or two ago before on the same topic.
To begin I'm not a photographer, I'm taking photos on livestock to be uploaded on my online store. We sell corals, marine fish online and wholesale.
Few issues I'm running into are,
1. I don't have enough depth (literal depth) to take focused photographs of corals. What I mean by this is my coral frag tanks are no more then 8" deep at most. So if I back away my lens is already out of the water.
2. Getting a system of storing and cataloging photos. This is important because I have thousands of corals and fish and I have to take hundreds of photos a day. A DSLR camera that auto uploads the raw photos to lightroom or my phone would be super time saving. I use light room but I'm not good using it on a commercial level so Im still learning. If anyone has experience with this please let me know.
So far specifically for the wysiwyg photos I've just been using my Samsung note edge inside a 1gallon breeder tank as a viewing glass.

Polarizer on the lens and back up outside the tank perhaps.
Polarizer would make the tank clear if it's clean, just need to look and see if you'd get everything in frame if you did it.

Ok Good to know so my gear is a Cannon D7 with an auto focusing lens.
I post pictures of my equipment later.
Basically aside from the camera I use this contraption over my lens to obviously keep it dry when in the water.
