>2017 Chevy suspension set up (aka stop the bumpys)
The Corvette having leaf springs does fascinate me. its almost a character trait that other cars in its class don't use similar to Porsche's RR layout. its interesting to see how both these Manufacturers work around their unorthodox setup.

>take the bolt drivetrain and put a shitload more batteries in there and a huge ass motor

i'd like one cadillac rocket ship please
Redpill thread: You post the car, anons redpill you on it. If you post a car, don't get fucking butthurt when people point out the problems with it. Take them in and move on.
I'll start. redpill me on the celica all-trac AND how does it do with high hp mods? Like 600whp +?
>redpill me
Can we please stop with this? Just ask us to explain the fucking car. Fuck.

It does very well, cars pretty heavy for just 200hp
Transmission and axles are really robust, wouldnt have an issue with that power. Might need to do something about the cv joints.
The engines in that one are the same as the early sw20 turbo
The engine that came after, upped the power and materials.
But parts are harder to get because it wasn't sold here, even in the mr2
Only real bad thing about them is trying to find one, so good luck anon.
Might have to get a rhd GT-Four when importable, or pay a small fortune for an alltrac
Red pill me on f bodies
3rd & 4th gens specifically
Anyone got one?
They are sexy but are not very reliable as a DD. Now go away
4th gen LS or go home.
unless you get a 3rd gen t/a then you are certifiably cool.
Should I buy a '77 Datsun 280z with a chebby v8 swap already done?
>no pictures of the car
>no mention of condition
>no mention of price
>no mention of which engine it has
Try harder next time, anon.
No. go away
What kid of V8?
LS yes
Shitty old 350SBC no
That is unless you're gonna swap an LS.
Also depends entirely on the price and the quality of work/how extensive the swap was.
Why haven't you gotten on the van train yet /o/? Pic related, my van (and a mock up for a roof rack). Video to get you to learn that you too can enjoy a van. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U2BC5sOltU

I can't find any 2nd gen Caravans since most people throw them in the salvage yard
The way he cuts out the dead air when he's talking is a bit annoying and jarring.
>>15895464
My gf wants an early 90s gm (g20?) Van with a 350 for $300.
She's always been poor white trash and she was raised in a van. She says it's her dream car which pisses me off because I've been trying to up her standards over the past year or so and she won't take, always wants the absolute cheapest thing. Clothes, cars, jobs, living space, etc all has to be the skeesiest, cheapest, lowest quality shit she can find.
/rant, been a shitty day
Vans are cool, but fuck having one for a dd.
>You've given a McLaren P1 to go crazy on any track in the world. Which racetrack do you take it to?
Obviously the Snaefell, is there really another choice?
>>15895410
doesn't really suit cars, at least something like a P1 which isn't designed to go over jumps

Will economic minded Americans create a new diesel rush in the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Obama shoved a ton of regulations against diesel. There's so many emission systems on them they aren't reliable.
>internal combustion engines
Diesel passenger cars are a meme. That shit belongs in work vehicles. Spend your resources on researching better petrol engines instead.
What year was/is the Civic's best year?
90s eg. now go away

Anything before 2006.

What happened in 2006?
How do we call people who buy Japanese pickups?
>>15895010
*American Pickups
I like the tiny pickups. I'd get one just for sick skids and probably ecotech swap because ecotech parts are dime a dozen.
>>15895010
Uhhh that's not a Japanese truck...
What does /o/ think of the bmw x3? I might get a used one, mainly for cargo (and for the badge cause I'm a fag)
What would the maintenance be like?

Recording equipment
I have a 2006 Ford escape

What's wrong with the escape? It's perfectly adequate. Don't be such a consumer.
Why can't you afford an Opel?
My dad is currently travelling to sell his piece of shit Chevy-rebadged Opel. It's been a dreadful fucking experience.
But I have one it's called a Chevy Spark
How are the cup cars? They seem competitive. How much for a season?
So /o/ in your opinion, what is the most overpriced car and why?
My money isn't on the Hennessy Venom. I've been thinking, what justifies 1.2 million for this car. Are the wheels balanced with bull semen?
>Lotus Exige chassis, 40k maybe?
>LSX engine, transmission and power upgrades 30k ish?
Did R and D plus whatever other shit they bolt on really justify an extra 1.1 million $$ ??

especially modern ones, like what the fuck are you even paying for?
so.. i had a saab 9-5 hot aero and blew the main bearings and its not worth fixing and beyond my skill atm (just did my first ever head gasket on my uaz452). it gave 38mpg on autogas lpg @260bhp, fwd, felt nice. needed a car for regular runs from UK to bulgaria, which i do non stop. so i get this merc c200k with a 100 litre autogas tank which gives autogas/gas combined range of over 1000 miles. im lucky to get 35mpg @160 pissy horses, plus it feels like a shit bus compared to the saab, and dont like rwd. its not even fun to drift with esp turned off.
so i want a fun car to add to my personal scrapheap of odd vehicles that will do respectable bahn speeds 150 mph+ and give good economy with normal driving. i used to have the audi 200t years ago and trashed it, not realising its a collectors car that mods to over 1500bhp. gutted when i saw on on fleabay for over £10 grand. that got me from uk to africa in 22 hours and felt good. my budgets up to £1500.
give me suggestions /o/!
ps, already have uaz, mz175, nissan rat micra, whats left of the saab, and the shit c200 parked outside on the street, making the village look good
Small BMW diesel.
cheers anon but diesel is getting pricy now and i can buy autogas @ 25-30 euro cents a litre in europe rather than 1-2 euros for petrol/diesel. got to be a petrol engine with lpg.
what dont you belong to a private gas station? its way cheaper
>>15894431
> Belong to
Filling my car up there gives them no ownership of me.
> Cheaper
Nope. I fill up somewhere with the second-lowest prices in the area, and the lowest for miles around.
> Private
As in 'small family-owned business'? No such thing. Big oil and big food suppliers push them all around. Ironically, supermarkets are better negotiators because they're not beholden to having smaller deliveries.
I just avoid any petrol station with an M&S store attached, because those cause long waits for pumps and for service. Having a fancy store there encourages normies to shop, and take up my valuable time.
