This car could pass as the current:
Hyundai Elantra
Ford Focus
Toyota Corolla
Kia Forte
Mazda 3
But it's the new Impreza... remember when cars actually looked different?

Subaru is pretty committed to making their new cars look like boring garbage anon
Visiting from /k/, thought this would probably be the right place to ask.
I just got a call from allstate telling me they aren't going to renew me in October.
I'm 29 from Florida and in about a year-and-a-half had three collisions.
The first one last year, somebody rear-ended me at a red light the day I bought my c70. I went through her insurance.
About six months later, a French national changed from the turn lane into my moving Lane right in front of me and I rear-ended her. She claimed it was her fault, but under Florida law I rear-ended her therefore it's all on me. I went through my insurance.
About a month ago my neighbor hit me backing out of her parking space. Her insurance found that she was 80% at fault and I paid for 20% of my own damages. I went through her insurance, but she tried making a claim through my insurance which I assumed was denied.
What do I need to know? What do I tell another insurance company when I call them? Am I going to be able to get insurance? Is Geico acceptable?
Talk to the district dude.
I dont know about Florida, but in Illinois there is a hard line between collision, and comprehensive claim.
One cannot effect the other when it comes to rates.
What does this have to do with /k/?
>>15906189
also, drop Collision if the car is paid up for. Make sure to leave comprehensive.
>>15906157
I don't understand why your insurance isn't renewing you if only one accident was your fault. That's dumb. And just tell a new insurance company of your driving history and be honest. Yes you will get insurance unlicensed drivers can get insurance. I don't know about those name brand companies but I have off brand car insurance. Never had any issues

I own an old truck. Out of state title, in another persons name, and I don't have the time to wait for a new title to come in the mail. I have 2 private bills of sale to prove I acquired the vehicle legally, but these bills of sale reflect a great deal given to me by a family member before I cleaned it up. Truck is old, beat up, but running, and I'm told (by a friend at a dealership) that it should fetch around 2200-2400 bucks in an ideal sale.
Long story short, I need to get a decent deal on this truck so I can afford to buy a commuter car. Is the current condition of this title going to fuck me? I'm okay with taking a few hundred bucks out of my profit for an outdated title, but is there a way to definitively prove ownership of a vehicle without waiting for the new title? Is there a free/cheap VIN check service to show the last official owner of the truck, that I could present along with the old title?
Thanks in advance /o/, any other tips for a quick private sale would be great as well.

Also, pic is unrelated.

One last bump in hopes of help
>>15906027
Without a title in hand, its a parts truck.
>have to shit really bad
>like about to explode
>take interstate home from work cause back roads have too many lights
>don't even think about anything until I see motorcycle cop behind me
>pull over, be courteous and whatnot
>says he clocked me 93 on interstate
>speed limit is 55
>requires mandatory court date
>did not give me a price of ticket
>says I'm free to go
>literally everyone flying by me as I'm going 60 on the way home
>manage to get home without ruining my seat
I've never gotten any sort of infraction before in my life. I know obviously going 30+ over the limit means like a $1000-2000 fine since my friend got $300 for 10 over, as well as points on my license, but is my license going to be suspended because of this? I know I'm fucking retarded but sometimes poop is poop.
I live in Orlando, FL if it helps. Was going on 408.
>>15905936
If your license was going to get suspended he wouldn't have let you drive off.
>>15905949
Anon after literally shitting myself before making this thread, I was figuratively shitting myself. I can handle financial issues related to speeding, but losing my license would honestly be the worst thing that could possibly happen to me right now.
Even if you're wrong, I want to genuinely thank you for making my day on 4chan of all places. Peace of mind goes a long way, I hope you have a wonderful life.
>>15905949
You do realize that a judge determines whether or not to suspend your license and not the cop, right?
Looking to get a new car, and I have been looking at the Subaru Impreza, since I get a hefty discount on Subaru through work. I didn't see a proper Subaru General so I just wanted to ask what /o/ thinks about it. For reference, I currently drive a 2004 dodge neon.
>>15905863
What's your budget and why an impreza?
>>15905883
Budget is 20k or less, and I want AWD, a navigation system, and a sedan. From what I've seen, Impreza seems to fulfill those requirements.
Also, I get about 2.5k off of msrp through work, so that's a bonus.
What about Legacy?
Yes. TVRs were very poorly manufactured.
RUF
>>15905791
not really, its the company that overfueled thier v8s 'cause they knew the owners would love the poping and banging on rundown

are equal length long tube headers hard to come by for your car, /o/?

Lolno
how does it sound?
>>15905769
I live in California, so...
Alright, so I've been on the hunt for a good 'Van Life' vehicle. Yesterday I stumbled upon this 1985 E150. Probably gonna take a look at it this weekend and possibly purchase it for less than a couple grand.
Anybody have any experience in vans like it? Oh, and any particular parts or flaws to look for in models like this one?
my cousin had an 86 chevy with 395k, then the valve seals blew. If youre looking at a conversion top, they almost always leak. engines are bulletproof but trannys can go bad if theyve sat
>>15905709
460 means 7mpg whether empty or towing the more vans on a giant trailer.
Otherwise good except if it's conversion vanned with a bunch of disco shit in which case I've seen the electric be a fucking nightmare
>>15905709
yay pedovans!
What is the best sedan for uber /o/?
Reminder, uber requirements for the vehicle are:
>4 door sedan that can seat 4 or more passengers, excluding driver
>2001 or newer (sometimes varies by city)
>No marked, taxi, or salvage vehicles
I'd vote for a toyota corolla. 4 cyl engine saves on gas, toyota reliability to save on maintenance, and they're cheap to purchase (2017 for under $20k, used of course is much lower).
2011 Lincoln Town Car. Get on Uber Black, don't have to drive niggers and drunk college frat boys.

got a 2015 pajero with the 3.8l v6,what sorta light engine mods would you guys recommend?
i don't plan on keeping it for long so i'm not gonna go overboard and do a swap or put in a turbo or something

>>15905408
i dunno what bizzaro world you live in but i've had at least 2 pajeros around me since like 2008,they're well built and can take a good beating
i have heard that north american mitsus aren't nearly as good as other mitsus so that might be the case
How far has /o/ gotten on their project. I'm a few thousand dollars in so far with the following
Airaid CAI
Bbk headers
Borla X pipe
Borla atak exhaust
Bmr suspension package
I have a good idea of what I want the final product to look like. I'm just not sure whether I want to cam it or not because that really changes the way the car drives.
What does "cam it" mean? And how does it change how it drives?
>>15905384
I mean put a different camshaft in. My cousin who changed it on his coyote told me that it makes normal driving a bit more tedious, which would be a hassle since my mustang is my Dd.
>>15905342
I highly doubt I'm going to keep it NA. I occasionally take it to the track and I'm slightly on the fence of whether I want a supercharger or turbo. The power on demand is really attractive in a twin screw.
Is it even possible to find a 96-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ that isn't a piece of shit? I have constantly been searching CL and found one decent one that wasn't way over priced. It had 100,000 miles, one owner, excellent condition and it sold hours after the ad posted. Guy was asking $4000. That one slipped through my fingers and now I'm sifting through clunkers for the same price.
Pic related, the car I missed out on.
>>15905298
All cherokees are shit m8
Dont bother
>>15905298
They rolled out of the factory like a turd down a hill.
I don't get it. Garbage on wheels with 300k miles and these people have the nerve to ask $4500. Fuck
>be me, looking for a daily driver for around $1000
>get sucked into buying a BMW E21 for $1300
>spent more money than purchase price on repairs, but I didn't mind
>in a last gasp of retardation, I fuck up the sunroof and the entire thing rips off on the freeway
>cost to replace sunroof is just un-justifiable
>back to a budget of $1000, maybe 2000
>can't go back to having a shitcan Civic or Corolla after all the compliments I got on my E21
How do I get over this, bite the bullet, and buy a car that's actually semi-reliable?
buy an E30.
>>15905278
>>15905294
Get a corolla. Its faster and handles better than both anyway.
>>15905331
>corolla
>handles better than an e30
