So, i live in an area that has salt on the roads, for half of the year. Combine this with gravel roads making tiny dings in unseen spots, and every single vehicle ive ever bought has rusted from the inside out.
Would an aluminum truck be what i need? I know it oxidizes, but from what i understand it doesnt destroy the panels like steel does.
So is it bullshit, or are there better options?
>>15898811
Yeah mate, go for it.
>>15898811
you don't need a new truck. just buy a clean southern truck for like 8k and invest the rest.
>>15898811
It's just the body that's aluminum. The truck will look nicer, but you will still have functional problems with rust in the frame/suspension that will eventually kill the truck.
What you think about the 2017 Infiniti Q60?

What's not in this spec sheet is:
>Availability of AWD
>Availability of a 400HP power option(with optional AWD as well)
>>15898664
What DO i think about it? I dont know i have never driven it. Let me look up a few road test or reviews and ill be able to tell you if i think its a good car or not.

You can still find shit 80s sports cars for cheap.
Would you still speed if the penalty of being convicted of driving even 1mph over the limit was death by firing squad?
Yes. And I will bribe my way out of this. And because of how unjustifiable this punishment for that exact crime is, the traffic police will be ok with bribes for this.
It would make it more fun, because I know that I'm running from death.
>>15898433
I don't speed now, so no
>fixing your car in a parking lot
Guilty and would do it again instead of being a cuck and letting retards work on my car at premium rates.

>anon, now that you have your tools out... you wouldn't mind checking out the x of my car?
Sup guys.
I'm looking for a 2010-2012 Toyota Prius.
I live in Yurop, if that matters.
I had 3 cars in my life up to this point. Accord Type R 1998, Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo 2005 and BMW e46 330ci 2006.
I'm sick and tired of BMW being unreliable, I started to pretty much hate cars and I can't see myself as being a petrolhead anymore. I have this car for 3 years and it's a nightmare I can't wake up from, can't sell this shit either.
So, tl;dr - I want something REALLY reliable to get myself from A to B with decent comfort and as cheap as possible. I mean, I don't even want to think about a car I own - what's wrong now, what is going to be wrong next, etc.
I did my research, so I just want to clarify few questions.
1) Fuel consumption.
6l/100 km - 38 MPG; 8l/100 km - 29 MPG during the winter (meaning heating the car etc.).
Are these numbers realistic (worst case scenario so to say)
2) I've heard about the petrol engine problems in these models - piston rings tend to wear/are quite weak, leading to burning of oil as the car ages (worse than it should be) - can anybody comment on that? I'm not keen on adding few quarts of oil every 1000km...
3) What mileage should I look for? Some people say that if the mileage is low, battery could be bad - because the car wasn't driven enough to maintain a healthy status. On the other hand, excessive wear is bad too. What's a good number for a 2010-2012 car?
80-100k miles?
4) CVT Transmission? Anything to be afraid of?
5) Any other warnings/comments? Should I be prepared for anything? Maintenance? Repairs?
PS Other suggestions are welcome, but I don't want to buy an older/more expensive car.

Thanks
As for battery, after reading the internets I came to a conclusion that if a car was not driven by a complete idiot, it should hold for many years ahead with same performance.
last bunp
>owning shitbox for several years now
>suddenly this morning
>car is accelerating almost as twice as quickly as it used to (usually close to wandering dune dynamics but seems to be at sub 10s to 60 now)
>gas response feels almost sporty now
I didn't change anything. What the shit
Youre just a Faggot who cant drive
And then OP woke up
if the air is cool and dry in the morning, there will definitely be a noticeable boost in performance.
need to know what exporting prices are like from japan to australia. heading to a car shop now and dont want to buy a big arse turbo and then realise its going to cost me a fortune to ship it
If shipping is going to put you into section 8, you cant afford a big arse turbo m8
>>15897648
I've ordered a fair bit from RHDJapan before, highly depends on the weight of what you're sending of course, but if a big fat turbo is at all a similar weight to a clutch kit, you'll probably be up for around $140 to $200 in shipping with DHL, Fedex, or EMS.
>>15897727
and would i just go to a post office and ask them to ship it to aus, then pay them and thats it?
Why do stancefags get more pussy than me?

Hate freedom of expression?

If stancing is freedom of expression, does a person who stances a car express that they don't want to drive?
Freedom isn't an excuse for stupidity.
