Are these any good?
>>17011782
No. You're better off with a Cadillac ATS
>>17011782
No. Trust me I've driven plenty of them.
The F30 pre-facelift is horrible in pretty much anything. Steering, suspension, general build qulity.
Engines are good though.
F30 facelift is a little bit better (got the suspension of the 4-series).
E90 is older but way better in my opinion.
>>17011782
No. That's not an e46 or e90
How hard would it be for me to work on a pic related? With me being a miata owner who does little things like changing fluids, spark plugs and stuff like that. How hard are bigger jobs on cars like these? Eurofag here.
Not hard at all. Some things you might not be used to like a distributor or a carb but there are plenty of resources to learn about those
>>17010472
Some stuff is easier, some stuff is harder. Old rusted out shit is harder to take apart, parts are harder to find. But the boomer meme is true, there's a lot less electronic crap in the way and they're a lot simpler than modern cars
>old car
>Massive community
>How hard could it be?
>>17009913
Sure, why not. It's not like you go into first while driving, and there's a lockout anyway.
I'd rather this than it being on the right.
>>17009913
I've literally never owned a car with a different pattern.
>>17009935
>tfw op pattern
>tfw no lockout
>tfw no syncros for first
You're driving home from the store and this pops in your rear view. What do you do?
Wonder what the fuck is a Crown Vic doing in europe
pull over and stop
what the fuck else would you do?
>>17009860
There's something austere and strangely calming about vics. They're low and flat, but muscular. If you've ever watched one pull up on a curb it's like watching a big jungle cat in the way it moves. I want one
What's the best RWD car for engine swapping? Something relatively cheap with a bulletproof drivetrain and a healthy aftermarket.
>inb4 Brandfags shitposting
FC rx7 and the rx8 are commonly swapped because retards can't into doritos and end up blowing the engine and selling the car for dirt cheap. There are lots of them on craigslist
>>17009241
E30
>>17009358
god bless retards
the old man/dad has a 64 impala 4 door collecting dust in his garage
girls used to love it when i was in high school
>niggers
it has a 283 automatic sounds good slow as fuc
transmission is terrible
would it be reasonable to do an engine swap in this?
sentimental value firsr car i wrenched on
I would drop prob 10k fuck it old&foreveralone
4 door classic cars are not worth putting a dime into.
>>17009243
im not selling it you fool
>>17009227
are you a nigger?
Shit people say when they don't know anything about cars:
>yeah, I'm just gunna chuck a [ridiculous engine swap] in it
>yeah, I post on /o/
Literally who says that.
>after a few weeks at my new job I'm buying it a turbo, shit's gonna be lit
Bought one, how much boost can it have?
quick google says that the turbo can make "up to" 24 pounds
>>17008402
just the motor?
what car are you putting it in?
how long do you want the engine to last?
350 PSI
>have to drive somebody else's car
>seats leaning back super far and mirrors are so out of alignment they aren't even usable till you adjust them all
>wonder how they are still alive and how many people they have almost killed
>mantlet the thread
>>17008332
You do know that people are different proportions and have a different field of view than you right? So a mirror angle that works for them, might not work for you and vice versa you fucking retard.
>>17008332
>lend car to mum
>seat is so far forward I can barely get my knees under the steering column
>radio was left turned up loud, catches me by surprise when I turn it on
T-thanks mum.
I'm buying a 2005-2008 Subaru impreza soon, and I was wondering what to look for in the car to make sure I get that signature Subaru growl, and the flutter of the turbo. Base model, We, or Sti. Etc etc
>>17008147
Wrx
In order to get that sound you also have to buy the suburu dude bro starter pack
>vape
>flat brim hat
>skinny legs and huge upper body
>tattoo sleeves
>one hand on the wheel at all times
>can't shift properly
>>17008163
pic for you
>>17008147
I had my 06 for 4 years. The fuel injector is the only thing that failed me once on a high way on ramp of all places.
WRX is best. I recommend the hatch. The premium sound system was poor, don't bother, I replaced all the speakers and head unit.
The turbo sounded great. Loved the car.
My suggestion is get the Saab 9-2x aero instead for for better looking version. The interior is literally the same and has Suburu on half the parts.
Will it be faster than a GTR around a track?
Is Vin Diesel driving?
>>17006102
What did he mean by this
FWD 1 Series BMW
>>17002611
>1 series
Who gives a shit
I give up.
I'll give it points for being safe and front wheel drive, but my wife's daughter could really use a taller crossover for highschool. Step it up, BMW.
Name a better offroad production truck than the Raptor.
Protip: You can't
>>16997643
Diesel H1 Humvee. even better is the milspec HMMWV but not sure if you consider that production or not
>>16997643
power wagon. inb4 >fca
>>16997694
false.
>>16997687
>humvee
[citation needed]
>car has those stupid ass bio degradable wire harnesses
>car is exactly of the era prone to having crumbling cable insulation
>replacing costs several thousands
>could short out any day or night
I'd put extra fuses in it in case shit hits the fan
I thought only Mercedes did that
>>16986379
