What does /o/ think of him?
>>17005981
/o/ is jealous of him.
>>17005981
I see no shitboxes, pristine, heavily modified, or in normal shitty condition in his garage, so I therefore have no respect for him.
>>17005981
Great guy, great content.
So I don't know much about drag culture, but I'm guessing that if you showed up to a drag race in this, you'd get called a poser and get smoked by some garage-built Foxbody with <20k put into it?
doubt it
most people in the real world arent that autistic
a Foxbody with less than 20k put into it will be a shoddy shitbox if it runs fast enough to beat a Demon and would likely break or be inconsistent
Except everybody who actually does show up is in a stock Civic+CAI or V6 Mustang
>showing up to a drag race in anything other than a cute dress
ISHYGDDT
I recently acquired a 2006 G35. Whenever I accelerate with the window down, I can hear a high pitched whistle which I can only guess to be related to the fuel injectors, but doesn't make much sense otherwise because it runs fine. It has an aftermarket exhaust not installed by me so that would be my next guess.

pick one.
>>17005072
What does it sound like?
Does the whistle go "WOO WOO"?
>>17005137
Honestly sounds like a turbo.
If the government doesn't want us speeding. Why do manufacturers still produce vehicles that go over 100/mph. Or rather, why did they even produce cars to go that fast in the first place?
To run from tornadoes, duh.

Because the government telling private companies what to do is Communism.

Discuss anything related to GM's Alpha platform cars.
As one of the GM whores here, I've been keeping an eye on the aftermarket Support for the Alpha chassis ATS and Camaro.
Well ZZPerformance caught my interest the other day. They set a new record for the fastest 2.0L Turbo Camaro. The car only got a downpipe, an intercooler kit, an intake tube, an E85 conversion, and a quick dyno tune (320 HP, 350 ft-lbs).

This begs the question. Why won't GM offer the magnetic ride control on the I4 or V6 Camaros? They're both more than capable of putting it to use.

Alpha is the name of the platform.
Cars currently using the Alpha platform:
2013+ Cadillac ATS
2014+ Cadillac CTS
2016+ Chevrolet Camaro
What does /o/ do to communicate with other drivers?
I use a whiteboard and I'll write "thank you" or if I see a qt driving I'll write my number on it and show it to her.
I use a cb radio
I use gentle love-taps with my rusted out Ram's bumper to show drivers I appreciate their meticulously restored classic cars.
i roll coal in patterns like smoke signals

t. can't deal
Mine smells like bananas. I eat a lot of bananas and leave the peels in a bag on the floor.
Mine smells like red cherry soda, after my drunk ass friend knocked his can over and didn't realize until it was fully permeated in the foam cushion of the seats.
>smells kinda good
Whats the point of sports cars when you can buy a liter bike for the price of an used accord again?
>Inb4 too scared or too fat to ride

too scared and too fat to ride
>>17004091
I live in Southern California and don't want to get run down by airhead soccer moms in Tahoes, Yukons, and Escalades not paying attention. I'm already scared enough as is in my Fiesta ST.

As a European I really ask my self what happend to the design of american cars? They used to look like pure sex in the 60-70s. Today american cars look like shit and they are like a decade behind cars from the EU or Japan.
>15 years later
Roger smith, The EPA, UAW, and Ralph Nader
These combinations killed the US auto industry.
>>17003981
Probably because you look at shitty cars on a daily basis all around you and only see the nice ones from Europe in movies and photos. Truth is Europe has some truly disgusting looking styling on the cheaper vehicles, similar to NA.
Take our top tier vehicles and their top-tier vehicles (200k+ cars excluded; we don't make those) and it's comparable.
Daily reminder if you don't buy your tools from Harbor Freight, you aren't getting true quality.
I hope they have a sale soon
Watch for their class action settlement soon
>>17003397
I have no Harbor Freight here will Princess Auto do?
Today's my second day driving a manual transmission as a DD
At what point do I stop stalling? Occasionally I'm fine but I'll end up stalling at green lights or stop signs randomly. It's like I still haven't got the clutch bite point down and I don't give it enough gas.
This is a petrol car also, not diesel. I also think I'm still super nervous about driving a stick shift. I already know in my mind when I'm home and can think clearly that I can easily ride the clutch at the bite point and accelerate then but when I get on the road and in traffic I forget everything.
>he fell for it
Just keep driving and don't panic or let yourself be bothered by impatient retards when you stall. You should be completely fine within a month.
>>17003379
The car was super cheap and it's fun when I wanna rev that shit box but then I end up stalling next to some dudebros black lifted pickup at a red light. Fucking embarrassing and makes me feel bad.
>>17003382
Thanks for the positive outlook anon. A couple days ago I stalled 3 times straight and missed a red light for cars behind me. Next time though I'm just revving the engine before I drop the clutch so at least I won't stall but I'll be spinning the tires probably.
It's like learning to drive all over again
Is it normal to think that it's a redflag if a girl cares about what car you drive or likes you because of what you drive?
Yes.
It seems to me like she wants to know how much money you got
>>17003133
Unless she's also a car nut, yes.
>tfw no LS powered cars in your country
>tfw LS swaps aren't a thing in europe
What did I do to deserve this?
>>17002951
Because yuropoor land is forever inferior. I wish I could help you, but there is nothing I can do.
>>17002951
Well you can still have an LS crate motor and all the necessary swap parts shipped there. Can't you just do a swap on something that's past emissions?
Cognitive dissonance, teach yourself to think of pushrods as inferior ancient technology.
