Will station wagons make a comeback?
Have we come full circle?

lolno, unless you consider crossovers as station wagons. in which case, yes.
but you're going to say they don't count, so no.
Thinking about getting a 2017 Forester XT because:
>Turbo Boxer
>Brake based torque vectoring
>AWD standard
>large greenhouse
I know it's not class leading and I haven't done much research into this segment, is there a better alternatives that provide the same fun in a daily C/SUV driver?

So pumped for the initial d tourneyment
why did they give it literally no hp?
>>17007714
it has to be slower than subaru's vapemobile.
Because it's a car for rich parents to give to their college kids and they wanted it to be somewhat slow and efficient.
>>17007714
Honestly for a small car like the brz if it just had more torque and taller gears it'd be worlds faster.
>Try to switch lanes in crowded traffic
>The person who I try to merge in front of steps on the gas pedal and honks the horn at me if I think about getting too close
>Merge 2 cars ahead instead
What the fuck is wrong with people?
People are fucking assholes anon. Example:
>going to Walmart to buy oil for my leaking shit wagon
>I'm in the outside lane turning left
>Tacoma in the inside lane
>light turns green and we're off
>they weave immediately into my lane and narrowly avoid PIT'ing themselves
>they flip me off because it's my fault they don't know how to stay in their own lane
>>17007123
you're not aggressive enough, make your own room.

It's not worth a wreck.

actually looking to pick these up. I have 225/60R17 tires on my mustang, will 235/55R17 tires fit fine on my stock 17 inch rims on my 2014 Mustang?
Pic related, took it last summer.
>>17006630
the tread width is within 10 millimeters (less than 1/2 inch) and the sidewall height is within 6 millimeters (total of 1/2 inch increased diameter). You might want a speedo calibration but they will fit.
>>17006660
Thanks kind anon. Seemed like it would from the research I did but it helps to hear someone else say it'll work.
Hey /o/. I've been thinking about living in a car for a few months, since I don't have credit or a job, but I really want to move out of my parent's house. Let's say I have a budget of $5000, what are some good trucks/vans/SUVs that would be comfortable to sleep in, while also being somewhat reliable?
I looked at the sticky, but I'm pretty sure that it's a bit outdated, not to mention, it doesn't mention the whole "sleeping in your car" thing. Please help /o/.
>>17004794
Vans. Or minivans or mini minivans. Or wagons.
Kthxbye
>>17004794
Stay at home. Get a job. Move out when you're financially stable
>>17004804
i lived in my malibu for a year and this is how i slept.
>best invetion ever?
flat folding rear seat.
>>17004794
If you have a place to shower and change (a friends place) then get a car mang. They can be stealthy as fuck and if it has flat folding seats you can sleep somewhat comfortably with your legs in the trunk.
Look for a conversion van. They can be had for dirt cheap and they are all owned by 90 year old people that only use them to drive to Florida once a year. Any cargo van/truck/suv @ $5k is going to be absolute shit.
GL m8.
Which one, and why?
both are FWD-biased souped-up badgewhore bait models, but at least the CLA isn't a literal Jetta
>>17003542
Why compare the Amg to the S3 and not the RS3
>>17003550
the RS3 isnt in my budget. S3 and CLA45 are around the same price. S3 a bit cheaper and 70hp less.
As much of a lurker I've been, only posting in SoCal threads and /tg/, it's come to my attention that we don't have a thread about the health of this board, and it's overall need for a better(more attentive)janitors and moderators, considering some kids with easy access to multiple IP addresses can take this entire board down by posting pictures of things that belong in /d or /gif/scatgeneral.
Though shitposting is funny to me, Using it to push quality threads off the last page by spamming new ones isn't cool. Is there a way to call more attention to this board? Or is it's traffic just not enough to dedicate proper moderation to. Things to meditate on, anyone have any suggestions/comments/concerns maybe a mod will actually get to see?
>>17002414
Relax, man. This board isn't even that bad.

What is the most worst/deplorable thing you have ever done in your car?
Crashed it.
I had a hooker OD on oxycontin and dirty martini's in my first car. She vomited all into the cup holders, Never could get rid of that smell
That was about 8 years ago, I don't do degenerate things in my car anymore

Are they any good for a first time buyer? I see many going for less than 10k.
Cost of ownership? Reliability?
>>16999178
Cost of ownership will be high if you intend to keep it reliable.
No I would not suggest it as a first time buyer, unless said buy is able to do basic maintenance on his own.
>>16999178
>beemer
just neck yourself mang.
What literal garbage. I had no idea they were so cheap now. Get a e36
