What are some good vehicles for large behemoths like me? I have a 2011 Ford F-150 and me and my wife have a hard time squeezing in it due to our weight. Once we're in it's extremely uncomfortable as I am cramped in the cab with the seat all the way back. (i'm over 540+ lbs) I have a good money flow and I was thinking about financing something that can support my wife and I until we drop this weight. Must be a truck and not a half ton.

40 years ago when you used to tuck seat belts into the seat cushions so you wouldn't sit on them, my father's car was hit by a truck. The car flipped several times, I was tossed around like a rag doll and ended having several surgeries to put my insides back together.

What would you think about a NB vs a NC as a DD for a first car? I like the fact that the NC has more security features by default (rollbar, side airbags, stronger windshield or so they said in some forums), its bigger and has more hp, but it costs 7-10k eurobucks, while the NB is just 4-5K and is commented as being "a better driver's car than a NC". Also will an aftermarket rollbar make an NB more dangerous? Pic related: NC chasis with a factory rollbar

If electric motors have great torque (starts at low speed) and gas motors have efficient fuel for top end speed, why aren't there "hybrid" cars that use electric motors to accelerate around town, but a nice engine for highway speeds?
Surely the transmission could also be optimized for this configuration?
Didn't Clarkson-era Top Gear cover the McLaren P1 that *could* do a form of this, but why aren't car markers aiming for an optimal mix of electric and gas, rather than one or the other?

Because it's heavy and inefficient. Hybrid shit cars like the Prius only get good mileage when you drive them like a geriatric fuck. If you put your foot down all the time in them like most people do you just wind reving the shit out of the under powered gas engine.
We need to live with the already efficient as fuck ICE's or make batteries that don't suck. We don't need a shitty combination of the two.
