The F30 pre-facelift is horrible in pretty much anything. Steering, suspension, general build qulity.
Engines are good though.

F30 facelift is a little bit better (got the suspension of the 4-series).

E90 is older but way better in my opinion.

Even the shitty F30 320i is faster than anything outside of an M or 335i and more reliable.

i've driven a 318d m sport and a 320d and they were both very good.
A little dull but a good daily if you have to do alot of miles.
My jobs about to make me do 20k+ miles a year so i'm getting a 330d m sport touring.
