Most of them were given mommy's and daddy's hand me down 2001 Toyota Corolla, where the only "luxury feature" was electric windows and a CD player.
They've never had a car payment, insurance was taken care of family (usually $50-125 a month), and they are given the car as a healthy down payment on something nice.
So you have a kid whose been living off of $50 A month for the occasional pizza, and fuel with no real bills... to someone possibly making $40-100k+ and still probably gonna love with mama and papa for another few years.
So why not put some of that money towards something nice?

I don't necessarily see a problem with it as long as they can pass the exact same test required of normal individuals. If they're wavering the regular test or making it easier because they're autistic I'd have an issue, however.
I'd also have an issue if statistics proved that they were a higher risk on the road than normal drivers, at that point it's really not worth letting them feel 'normal' if they're proven to be a higher risk.

Hey guys my sisters jeep is kind of fucked up. Cranks strong but won't start.
All fuses and relays are good
Is getting spark as I sprayed carb cleaner in the throttle body and it chugged along for a few seconds before all the carb cleaner fumes were wasted
So basically I know its a fuel delivery issue but not sure if its the injectors them selves or possibly the fuel pump.
Thankfully the fuel pump on this thing is pretty easy to get too if I need to swap it out but what proper diagnosis should I use to determine between the possibilities?
I'm only a certified youtube mechanic.
Its a 2006 with 166k miles. Has never had the fuel pump done prior which makes me lean more towards that.
It drove fine up until parked but would not start the next morning.

So my car is shitting the bed and I'm in the market for a used car.
Was eyeballing a 2009 Pontiac G6 GXP. I wanted something that isn't gonna be hell on my insurance but something that's a little fun. I've heard a lot of good things about the Pontiac G8 GXP's but nothing for these ones. Are they good daily's?
I went to check out the car and it looks great and the interior is pretty damn good. How are these things?

GXP's are relatively rare. I did see one today that caught my eye but I thought the grille was a little ugly.
For the right price and mileage I think it's a good buy.

I recently got a 66 Dart and i cant make up my mind on it.
On one hand, i love finally having a classic car. It feels amazing to drive. I love the attention it gets even if it is just a shit box.
On the other hand, part of me just wants to sell it and get my money back and get back to driving my new DD. Also the fact that even if i dropped a hemi in it (which i dont have the skill/time/$ for), it would still be a grandma car; and there arent really any redeeming factors about the slant 6.
Dont get me wrong, ill have another classic one day. But hopefully itll be in better shape and i wont be living in an apartment.
Anyone else not able to make up their mind if they like their cars or not?
