Who the fuck does this misogynistic shitlord think he is? In our rape-culture filled society, a brave strong woman finally had the courage to accuse this monster of rape. The Patriarchy found him """not guilty""" but feminists scored a very minor victory when police imposed the COMPLETELY REASONABLE requirement of making him give them 24-hours notice before he had sex with a woman.

And now this piece of shit is going on hunger strike just so he can go back to raping women. If this isn't male entitlement, idk what is.

>FBI documents sought after in Freedom of Information Act requests for the last year are now available, thanks to a leak to the Intercept. They lay out secret rules for collecting phone records of journalists, bypassing normal judicial processes.

>The documents, published Thursday, outline how FBI agents would utilize National Security Letters in obtaining journalists’ phone records. They date back to 2013, the same year the agency’s overseer, the US Department of Justice, amended its standards for subpoenaing for such records.

>However, the newly leaked papers are marked “last updated October 2011,” and they seem to conflict with DOJ policy as well as reveal information that many say never should have been secret in the first place.

>The FBI’s National Security Letters, or NSLs, are used like search warrants, but unlike a normal warrant, they are not signed off on by any judge or court. They are approved in-house without even a requirement to notify the target. For the purposes of these documents, that means not even the news organization employing the journalist would necessarily be informed. Furthermore, they nearly always come with some form of a gag order, preventing the target from talking about their NSL case.

>Getting an NSL authorized typically requires the signatures of the FBI’s general counsel and its National Security Branch’s executive assistant director as well as other chain of command OK’s following the agent making the request, the Intercept reported. That is, as long as the NSL is deemed “relevant” to an investigation pertaining to national security.

>Six people were killed when teacher protests turned violent in the Mexican state of Oaxaca over the weekend, authorities said.
The clashes between teachers, state police and local residents also left 53 civilians and 55 police officers injured, according to the Oaxaca state government.
Teachers and residents clashed with Mexican federal police after protests turned violent in the state of Oaxaca on June 19.
The violence came after seven days of street blockages and demonstrations, disrupting traffic on a major highway connecting Oaxaca to Mexico City, the government said.
Clashes broke out after riot police tried to disperse the demonstrators Sunday.
Twenty-one people have been arrested so far.

A 22-year-old woman with autism was forced to live in a tarp-covered cage outside an Amite home, authorities said.

Five people have been arrested on charges of human trafficking and cruelty to the infirm.

The five people arrested are Raylaine Knope, 40, Bridget Lambert, 19, Taylor Knope, 18, Jody Lambert, 21, and Terry Knope, 43.

According to a news release from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators received a complaint on June 30 that people in a home on Rushing Lane in Amite were keeping a 22-year-old woman locked in a cage on the property.

Investigators found a woman, 22, who suffers from autism and who was forced to live in a makeshift shelter, which consisted of a blue tarp draped over a cage "somewhat resembling a dog kennel."

"She was often locked in the cage at night in order to keep her from wondering off," the Sheriff's Office said. "Investigators said that upon speaking with her, she appeared to be malnourished and suffered from numerous insect bites."

Inside the cage was a 5-gallon bucket in which she was forced to defecate in, as well as all of her personal belongings, authorities said.

Authorities also said that the group conspired "to transport the young woman to a specific location with the intention of prostituting her out to multiple male subjects for money."

"The 22-year-old, whose name is not being released at this time, was transported to a local area hospital where she was evaluated."

The woman was placed in the care and custody of the Louisiana Department of Health, Adult/Elderly Protective Services.

In addition to the woman, four juveniles were removed from the home and placed in the care and custody of the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services.

The case is ongoing and additional charges are possible.

Yeah, according to a mentally unstable, demonstrably proven liar who filed a bunch of unintelligible random blather and got the case kicked out of Federal civil court once already, before she found a lawyer who would at least edit her allegations into something that sounds like it wasn't written by a complete nutjob, to get it into the court file.
Hmmm...there is no statute of limitations on sex crimes against a child, right? So if there was anything remotely provable about the allegation, it would be picked up by a prosecutor for investigation...but that's a nope, because it's crazy bullshit.
Like the bored inmate who claimed a paternity suit against Prince's estate - it went to court, stewed for a while, paternity test ordered, and Prince is (shocker) not the father.
Good reminder that when you're famous or influential or rich, wingnuts will come out of the woodwork trying to make their money and fame from some ridiculous lawsuit, knowing that if they lose, they aren't really losing anything, but even if you win, your reputation and wallet take a hit.

>"Saddam Hussein throws a little gas, everyone goes crazy, 'oh he's using gas!'"

>"You know what he used to do to terrorists?" Trump polled the Tennessee crowd. "A one day trial and shoot him…and the one day trial usually lasted five minutes, right? There was no terrorism then."

>Praises hussein for slaughtering citizens and ignoring due process. Saying no terrorist were in iraq, because the terrorist were in the ruling party. Praises putin for being a strong leader while putin controls his position through fear, murder, and propaganda.

What is going on here. The fact that this guy is a recognized candidate is finally sinking in and my stomach is dropping.

What the fuck is going on. Is our country really full of people who like this guy. Who see him as a leader? I'm supposed to enjoy putting on my god damn uniform every morning knowing my CIC is the guy who praises the style of dictators?

Have I been a dumb idealist this whole time thinking the country was populated by real Americans?

It's pretty straightforward. Putting aside all the shit stuff Saddam did (of which there was plenty, which was acknowledged), he kept terrorists in check and under his thumb. Killing him, in no small part, led to the flourishing of numerous terrorist groups in the middle east, which has culminated (thanks to numerous other fuckups in the region) in ISIS being so powerful and influential.

I honestly don't see what is so outrageous about that sentiment, a sentiment that is generally overlooked whenever discussing the middle east in general and the topping of the Saddam Hussein regime in particular.

Look at Libya. The same shit happened there after Gaddafi was toppled. And if not for Russia it probably would have played out in Syria with Assad as well.

Only affects state laws on the issue, not RNC rules. According to the article, 20 states have laws binding the vote of a pledged (primary) delegate, and those laws are what are in jeopardy, though not necessarily invalidated by this limited ruling.

The RNC can nullify all this on the convention floor before the vote by simply changing their rules to say that pledged delegate votes are bound. The state laws, however, make it so RNC rule changes cannot necessarily make it so pledged delegate votes are suddenly unbound, at least for some of the states, subject to other courts' findings should they be challenged (which knowing Trump they obviously will be, even if Trump wins anyway).

>Nadia Murad, a Yazidi who escaped captivity in 2014, told the Senate Homeland Security committee that "the USA must act. We must terminate Daesh (ISIS) and all such terror."

>Murad detailed how she and thousands of Yazidi women and girls were enslaved and raped by their ISIS captors. She recounted how six of her brothers and her mother were executed by ISIS in a single day.

>"What has been happening has been happening under the name of Islam," she said. "The Muslims must be the first ones to resist this ... We have not seen that Daesh have been labeled as an infidel group within Islam by any Muslim country."

>When asked by Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware whether the U.S. should accept more refugees from the region, Murad responded, "Every country has the right to protect itself and its borders but the people who are escaping from the religious discrimination and genocide should not face closed doors."

>The post brought out anger from Interim MPD Director Mike Rallings. It was posted the same night as the fatal shootings of five Dallas officers, and it came days after two people died at the hands of law enforcement.

>The incident caused to Interim Director Rallings to vent and suspend him.
