I just started watching the The 08th MS Team Gundam and whilst I'm enjoying the aesthetics of it, the plot and it's tone kinda surprised me. Coming of the Gundam79 this feels a lot more "pg", more like a weekly episode of Gi Joe. Will the show hold this kinda tone for the whole duration or is it done just to lull the viewer with a false sense of safety?

Probably the fact that the cast is all of military age, and are actually trained soldiers. The war hasn't hit the point where half the human race is dead yet, so shit like teenagers pressed into service isn't as prevalent and the whole honorable aspect of war hasn't been quashed.

What the fuck is the deal with modern Hollywood and these really messy overdesigns these days?
From the Transformers designs from the films, to the Narada, Enterprise and Drone Ships/soldiers in Star Trek films to basically every mechanical robot/anything in any Marvel/Disney film, now the same with Power Rangers.
Why in fuck are all these designs so busy, over the top and overdesigned? Why does Hollywood keep doing these awful redesigns? Why is often fan-art 10000x better and more true to the design than the shit we get officially?

Hello.
I've gotten in touch with a translator who would specifically like to translate the following /m/ games
>Baldr Heart (PC visual novel with arcade-style mecha battles)
>SRW Endless Frontier EXCEED (Nintendo DS JRPG)
>Nadeisco: Blank of Three Years (Sega Saturn Visual Novel)
He can do all the translating on his own, but what he really needs help with is hacking the game and inserting the English text in place of the Japanese.

I honestly didn't even know it was releasing yet, but I just got through episode 1.
I didn't like the first season because of how it executed a lot of it's ideas, but this episode wasn't so bad.
I guess since I already knew I'd get all this exposition I didn't mind it, however it felt a bit more subtle this time, at least outside of the scene near the beginning that just explains the current state of the world.
But it was a pretty enjoyable episode, the animation was alright, and most of the better animation is given to the barbatos and Shino's launch.
I'm feeling slightly optimistic about this Season though, there's no way they can do worse than S1 now.

Well to be fair, even the first episode or two of Season one 'Wasn't so bad' wasn't until like 4 or 5 people began realizing that the tone was gonna be nothing happens and kids go on a trip though space. Occasionally there's Robots.
