Yep. Do want to know how he ended up with his dad.
When we see him as a kid he looked like he wanted to burn the world. Betting his mother was the only person he cared for and something really bad happened to her while it involved Gjallarnhorn.
It looks like the Vidar has switchblades on its feet. Now hopefully those are actually used in the show to an effective degree.

Not really, as far as I know the only railguns in Gundam ever have been in SEED and 00, and both were just as guilty as IBO's for being weak and puny looking. I don't think UC ever really delved into railguns.

UC beam weapons have more kinetic energy than conventional weaponry even though in motion they don't travel particularly fast. UC beams can knock around MS and even push back accelerating MS which is shown from time to time in Zeta and ZZ when MS aren't one-shotted.
>>14817353
That's because it's explained in Gundam Officials that the M-particle gains mass as a function of their velocity exponentially. Sure it's more fiction than actual science but at least the writers of Gundam Official managed to make it seem logical.
>>14817092
Zeheart tried to fight it as some kind of test. Asemu came and helped him destroy it and they teamed up against it.
Asemu then had his ship destroy the exa db.

The vulcan guns in ms heads are typically listed as 60mm. Thats fucking huge and the gun to fire them shouldn't be this small. This gun looks the same size or possibly smaller than an A10s 30mm gun.

>>14818557
it's actually used more like a 30mm and the size and placement is more like a 30mm gattling.
Damage, however, is more akin to a 60mm cannon if you ever managed to fire one at 3000rpm

>>14822342
It could have something to do with it. A much higher pressure can be applied by sharpening the edge of a weapon to a minimal surface area, and its that shear that's going to break something, and you have to remember that this is an arm powered by a fusion reactor doing the swinging, so the force behind each blow could be not far behind the force of a bullet.

>>14816350
>Raillguns
>not superior coilguns
People only use raillguns in sci-fi because raill sounds cooler than coil, but they have serious issues that prevent them from being practical weapons compared to coilguns.
>>14822003
>>14824388
>>14824461
Thou this is only energy part of the equation, it is lacking function of surface.
I wonder why we haven't see anybody use HEAT warhead. If nanolaminate armor is so sturdy, why not just walk around problem and simply send shockwaves deeper, into frames and inner mechanics. Or, as Mikazuki showed us with Carta, pilot - armor transfers kinetic energy just fine, it's not vibranium.
>>14824649
but what about SABOT penetrators? And for the most of the series Barbatos was using blunt weapons that weren't really designed as penetrators, rather, worked like real world anti knights weapons. Pic related, one side is dedicated to puncturing armor, while other deals pure blunt trauma to anything underneath armor, with added bonus of warping said armor and maybe jamming arm or leg in the process. And you can always add an explosive charge to the hammer head for added effect when needed.
> arm powered by a fusion reactor doing the swinging
You do not really need high performance machine to achieve this effect as well. In Muv-Luv chinese TSF's are using front heavy 'swords' with relatively underpowered mecha, by building momentum swinging them around for a bit. Very effective.
>>14824716
Can we agree on electromagnetic weapons? Functionally, they are the same - you apply current, it shoots. You feed it more current, it shoots harder.
>>14822035
This one anon?
>>14824649
By surface area I actually wanted to suggest that maybe the higher pressure of a sharp object (SAY, A BULLET) interacts unfavorably with nanolaminate.
But I honestly hate physics, it doesn't really click with me. All I can think of is that wide surface area transmissions of kinetic energy have played roles in the history of armor-countering weaponry. You had warhammers to jostle the soft human encased within armor (bonus value in crumpling the armor and trapping the wearer within I guess), all the way up to HESH projectiles which could turn the inside of an unprotected tank into a shotgun blast via propagating the explosion shockwave through the armor, resulting in spalling.
Or something.
If you can't punch a hole through it, just fuck up the person inside of it.

>>14833357
I doubt it. There are no newtypes and ahab waves still fuck up wireless. Tekkadan gets around this by deploying little floating drones that act as relay stations (You can see them briefly in that island battle. Its why tekkadan could keep in contact with their beach forces but Carta couldn't).
