Hey what are some near EOTECH quality Holographic CCOs? Only ones I've found are Eotech and Steiner and both are about $1-200 more than I'd like to spend.
Less battery life is cool with me as long as they are close to as parallax free wit good light intensity options and 1-2 MOA dot and decently rugged. Anyone know of something akin to that?
C'mon

>EOTech
>Parallax-free
>implying
>OP thinks there's a cheaper version that has less parallax
>...the parallax error might be up to 4±3 MOA (or a total of 14 MOA across the viewing window) at 71˚ F (for a sight properly zeroed). In other words, parallax can increase as the user’s view approaches the edge of the EOTech viewing window. To put this possible amount of off-axis error into perspective, 7 MOA equates to 1.75 inches at 25 yards or 7 inches at 100 yards. Viewing through the center of the window achieves the least parallax error.
>Parallax may increase as temperature changes from 71˚ F. At operating temperature extremes of -40˚ F or 122˚ F, there may be an additional 4 MOA of parallax.

The look of the curve just caught my eye. Why did it have to be Taurus trash /k/.

I didn't know the Taurus meme until I started browsing /k/ more. Had a wheelgun from them on layaway but instead I'll just be moving that money over to .40 ammo and accessories tomorrow.

Aside from being a .40, are they actually terrible shooters? This is when capacity is not of any consideration.
>>30316055
they're fine, stop listening to spergs
>>30316055
This is mostly personal preference speaking, but I like the 23 more than the 19. There's a subtle difference in the balance in hand that just make it point a little more naturally for me.
.40 has a snappier recoil profile which means more time to realign sights between shots. Accuracy isn't affected much is shooting slowly, but if you're trying to shoot fast it will be affected. Ammo cost is also higher, which could mean less practice.
Now that said, I own a Glock 23 myself. I can manage it in .40, I love being able to buy ammo mid-panic. At the end of the day however, I mostly appreciate my drop in 9mm conversion barrel.
>YFW tards talk about shot placement over caliber size
Even if shot placement is more important than caliber, shot placement WITH a superior caliber is still better.
ok
any caliber starting with a 4 is still garbage

Australia is closer to the Falklands then the UK, so why wasn't the RAN called upon to defend the Commonwealth? They still has a serviceable carrier at the time
They did not need Australia to win the war
>>30315876
>They still has a serviceable carrier at the time
No they didn't. Also the Falklands is a British dependency and not part of the commonwealth.
>>30315876
The entire point of England fighting alone in the Falklands was to show the English people that England could defend its clay against aggression.
Now I suspect highly that the US gave England open access to our intelligence assets

They actually are, the HARP gun was a modification of the 16"/50-caliber gun mounted on the Iowa-class battleships. The barrel was simply extended to 100 calibers/40m.

Libfags don't know anything about optics on guns and its hard to really sell the idea that they make the assault-style murderguns that much worse.
Hey /k/ommandos.
Tomorrow I am finally going out to purchase my first firearm. I've gone to the range a decent number of times (10+) and have more experience with firearms than the average american (that isn't saying much), but nowhere near any sort of gun enthusiast level.
Anyways, the weapon I am buying is going to be a pistol for concealed carry, which I'm applying for.
I've looked over my options, and fired a few, and I think I like the M&P Shield the most. It feels great in my hand (with the pinky extender on the magazine) and I was a pretty good shot with it.
However, I'm not sure if I should go with 9mm or .45
The 9mm, obviously, is easier to control and slightly cheaper, but is a lower caliber.
.45 is bigger and badder, but is the increase in power worth the loss of (some) control?
What do you guys think? Any /k/ommandos with experience in both to say which you like more? Or perhaps you are going to recommend a different (non-glock please, I was not a fan of the Glock 19 I fired) firearm, please do so!
I also, if you could, am looking for recommendations for inside the waistband holsters. If you guys know any good companies or brands to look out for, feel free to hit me up.
