Just put some new grips on my S&W M69 .44 mag. Ain she a beaut?
Had it for about 2 months, put 3 or 4 hundred rounds through it.
Neva bin cleaned b4.
Revolver thread!
Looking to get into revolvers. I like how the rugers look, but the trigger definitely isn't as nice as a similar s&w (gp100 vs 686 or super Redhawk vs 629). Should I get the ruger and wear the trigger in a bit to make it similar, or does that not really happen?
i need some nice wood grips for my 629, nobody will fucking ship here though.
I'm looking for a .44 revolver to pair with my Marlin. I'm considering a S&W 629 (for DA) or a Ruger Super Blackhawk (for SA). Which type of revolver action do you prefer and why?
How true is this?

2 dudes with beards in a vehicle?
Pretty common around my town.

This scene really bugs me. They're at a road block with like a dozen guys (with no effective line of communication between them)all pointing rifles at the car. How do they not get shot as soon as they pull out their fucking pistols???
Im drawing a blank here, what gun is the skinny guy holding here...
Also sorta related, seems like some awesome guns are being found in Syria right now, F2000 and AK103s.

is P320 FS a good substitute to Glock 17?
Lol, there is no substitute for a g17. Why subsitute perfection?
>>30314153
Well, ergos and trigger
>>30314129
Why would you want a substitute for the glorious Glock 17 (Gen 4) with a GTL10 attachment? This thing will save your life, son!
I started a thread about using a corgi for home defense, and after considering your feedback, I decided it wasn't worth it. What does /k/ think the most effective guard doggo is?

>>30314035
I wouldn't worrry about it.
Hey, /k/. I was thinking of purchasing a quiet 9mm rifle for home defense and wasn't sure what to buy. Right now I'm leaning towards the D3-9SD but I don't know enough about guns in general to confidently make a purchase (I don't lurk /k/ much, mostly /news/ and /wsg/)
how silent are we talking here, cuz?
Build your own.
Once you decide on all your parts, you will likely need to try two or three differently weighted buffers to get it working correctly, then you won't need to worry any more.
I recommend you do not exceed a 5" barrel, since your goal is to suppress it, you don't need to add velocity.
300 blackout subsonic rounds
Hey guys,
I have saved up about 500 dollars for a rainy day. Should I buy new arrows for my Bear recurve bow, or a Single Action Ruger Blackhawk .44 revolver? I want to mull this over before I make any concrete decisions.
Blackhawks are alright, although you could do much better.

Such as?
>>30313875
Blackhawks are pretty rad.
Basically indestructible. Heavy enough that the recoil isn't punishing.
Here's mine. Bought it used for almost nothing. The wood is beat to shit and cracked, most of the bluing is gone, but it functions perfectly.
How has dogfighting changed since the glory days of WW2?

35% Auto-regenerative modular expandable adipose tissue armor.
Mine is when someone has a UZI,MAC,etc with folding stock and they never bother to use the stock.

This.
I don't mind when reload animations don't take into account if there is an extra round in the chamber, but seeing the AR only reloaded by the charging handle bothers me. Same with semi auto handguns when they grab the slide with their hand each time. There is a slide release / bolt release right next to your thumb!
So here is the thing, mass murders are bad, but the mcx is a beautiful carbine, more so than the m4. I wouldn't have heard of it if it wasn't for what happened. So my questions are: are mass murders good for business? Is this increasing the sales of the mcx?
If only it didn't have a shit ugly stock.
>>30313490
Short term yes, long term probably not.

I remember bushmaster sales skyrocketed after sandy hook.

Luftwaffe only had two fighter lines the Fockewulfs and Messerschmitt, what else would the German Aces use? or are you implying the plane had a significant advantage over others?
russian's mstly also spanish civil war helped train some of the pilots
Alright /K/, body armour / fashion question here
I want to wear AR500 plates in a minimalist carrier on a daily basis.
I almost always wear a leather jacket, much like pic related (not me in the pic tho), with usually a t shirt underneath. I'm thinking I'll wear the vest over the shirt, then the jacket over the vest. If I zip it up i don't think there'll be any issue as people will assume its a weird sweatervest, but I'm worried the nogunz normies will call the cops on me if I have my jacket open and vest exposed. This shouldnt be a problem in most places, (I live in the midwest, cops are usually cool with cc / open carry guys) but what about on a college campus? Is it illegal to openly wear body armour in certain places (like banks, schools, and other "gun-free-zone" type places?)
>>30313110
>banks
This one I'm sure will give you a shitload of trouble unless you're wearing ceramic stuff.
They have metal detectors pretty much everywhere in banks.
>>30313123
Ok, I'll take it off before I go in to cash my paycheck, but is there any other place I might have to look out for?
>>30313110
>always wears leather jacket
Unless you daily drive a bike or something that's pretty autistic desu
Just picked up this for 50 bucks, was it a good deal?
>>30312960
Not bad, fair price. Enjoy your stabby stick.
>>30312960
I bought that same knife years ago.
Its solid. It takes an edge really well, and I like the pocket clip. Stopped carrying it because it was so rough and knobby. Also, I had to glue the safety lock off, it kept locking when I was using it. Also, the seat belt cutter is a useless feature.
>>30312960
Bought one, it broke. Couldn't take an edge worth a crap, broke cutting some thick tie straps that was holding some metal fence together. Bought another one, it broke. Cutting some dry wall, blade snapped in half. I must have gotten them from a bad batch of something. I bought a Kershaw Blur in S30V and never looked back.
