Hello there dear /k/ommandos.
I found this magazine in Białowieża forest near an old military base Nieznany Bór (it's still active, but there's more civilian personel than soldiers). Scale is metric.

It just doesn't suit any weapon known to me, looks like 7,62x54, definitely not an AK mag. Do you guys have any ideas what is it?

How do we educate Fallout 3 fans on how guns actually work?

If this corrects the major flaw with 1911's why isn't it more common? It can't change the manual of arms too much can it?

these things shouldn't that uncommon with the amount of modern manufacturers wouldn' this be the obvious choice in 1911's and it can't be a much higher cost to the manufacturers to produce.

Have there been reliability issues or is it super heavy or something, I don't see why double stacks are unusual while single stacks are mass produced instead of the other way around in terms of modern production.

I have an exotic problem with my vision - suffice to say, I can see reasonably well without glasses at distance over 30 feet, but any glasses that work for my vision won't work with scopes unless diopter correction is used (I say "scopes" because I've tried that, but didn't have a chance to try red dots). I know that there are several different ways red dot optics are implemented, which way is likely to be compatible with my vision?

I've never been in any kind of military. I've rarely ever talked to someone in the military. I just want to know, how does such a lopsided victory like this happen?

I'm fascinated by total fucking wipeouts in modern warfare. To think that everyone is armed with a gun that can kill a man from 200 yards onwards, but despite a massive numbers advantage, you can get completely demolished.

ITT post your /k/ related confessions. I'll start.

I don't really like going shooting. I'm from germany and the only legally valid reason to own a gun is to be a sportshooter, hunter or collector, and all come with lots of red tape and hoops to go through.
I only want one or two guns for protection, but I figured I would go the sportshooting route (like most do) to get them. So I joined the gun club close to me.
But it fucking sucks.
>can only go shooting 2 days out of the week and only for 2 hours
>range is always packed because of this
>dumb rule where you are not even allowed to carry an unloaded gun around behind the firing line while the range is cold, so when you want to leave you gotta wait till it's hot again
>have to shoot 18 times a year before you can buy your own gun, so I always have to borrow one of the few club guns
>bunch of .22s, a 9mm and a few different revolvers in various calibers
>many new people so can't even use the gun I want most of the time
>have to buy ammo at the club which is obviously more expensive than in a store
>since its a club you're somewhat expected to take part in their social activities
>I don't even have time to shoot most weeks because always busy on those two days, so I sure as hell can't be arsed to partake in that meta shit
>the board of the club must approve of my application before I can get the permit to buy guns, could in theory deny it for no reason (usually they are cool tho but it's a principles thing, some random dudes shouldn't get to decide who can buy a gun)

So yea most of the people there are bros but I haven't been shooting in over 2 months. I enjoy the shooting itself but I loathe the whole shebang around it. I'd much rather go innawoods or go to a commercial range whenever I want.
On the upside I can buy my own gun in a few months so maybe it will get better then.
