i bought a new glock 17 last september. my first gun ever

i fired 100 rounds at the range. then later fired 200 rounds few weeks later.

i haven't cleaned my glock once.

i was hoping the factory lube would suffice for those 300 rounds.

how much harm have i done to my gun?

Close to none. As a military pistol, glocks are designed to endure thousands of rounds without maintenance.

However, on the long run giving it a bit of lubrification now and then will reduce wear and tear. I usually (summarily) oil my cz-75 at every range trip.

IMHO, it's better to have some "random" dude (not so random cuz the club board is usually elected by members) from the club, so automatically in favor of shooting and guns, and if not stupid, knowing that the survival of gun ownership depends on how many people get in ;

rather than a police officer or administrative employee who may or may not be hostile to gun ownership.

The president of my club is a real bro and is a massive help with all the paperwork, I once got in trouble over messing up a requirement for my licence renewal and he skimmed the legality line to sort it out. Also the club secretary is part of the "prefecture" office which deals with permits so it helps a lot. (France BTW)

Keep at it, when getting in something as controversial (to the general european public) as gun ownership, it's better to have contacts with other shooters. Solidarity is a must have for us. Even if it means having to bare the fudds ranting.
