I have an exotic problem with my vision - suffice to say, I can see reasonably well without glasses at distance over 30 feet, but any glasses that work for my vision won't work with scopes unless diopter correction is used (I say "scopes" because I've tried that, but didn't have a chance to try red dots). I know that there are several different ways red dot optics are implemented, which way is likely to be compatible with my vision?

Go to store, look into one.

If you have astigmatism, none. Use a 1x glass like spitfire 1x prism.
Anything without magnification is going to work, you retard.
Red dots suck depending on how severe an astigmatism you may have. Even with my glasses on red dots still looked like a bundle of grapes to my eyes.
I have a Vortex Spitfire AR 1X prism scope which acts like a red dot and love it beause of the etched reticle means there is no blurriness. Also even if the battery dies you can still use the reticle.

OP never said he had astigmatism fucking idiots.

OP any red dot will work with your glasses and if it doesn't then you know your prescription is incorrect.
As unconventional as it might seem, I use a see all open sight, the tritium version on my shotgun and its fantastic once you get used to it.

Lucky you don't need to see far to put one in the roof of your mouth.
Fuck off from guns, you are a danger to everyone. Go get a hobby like knives or some other gay shit that better fits your fucked up vision and leave shooting to the people who can actually hit a target with irons past 10 yards.

Not OP but I have pretty shit vision too but it is (pay attention now) CORRECTIBLE to 20/20 so when I have glasses or contacts in I see just as well as you do.

So, far sighted.
Any decent red dot sight will have collimator optics which produce a red dot image at infinity (for all practical purposes). So you should be just fine.
Go to the LGS and look through a few to see which ones work for you.
