Is this going to be a proper fight sir?
Or just another duck hunt?
What does your bug out bag look like? Any decent tips we haven't all heard a million times? Pics preferred.
Make sure your bag is riddled with Molle straps.
Don't bother bringing food and water, you'll kill everyone very easily and take all of their supplies.
Carry as many knives and as much ammo as possible.
but seriously, what food would you put in a bug out bag
>>31771970
A bug out bag is only for 3 days so I'll just tough it out with MREs.
They're very bulky so I gut them and take the main courses and some sides that I'll enjoy.
Are Liberty gun safes gud?
Looking at buying a safe and a coworker recommended them. The Colonial 30 model is on sale for $1,250 with a dial lock or an electronic option can be had for another $170. 60 min fire protection at 1,200 degrees, 12 active 1" bolts on the door and made in U.S.A. are all appealing, however the door is composite and the body is two piece 11 gauge. I know it's not an amazing safe, but it's got to be better than the $600 cabela's special and should stop your standard smash and grab redguard scenario while offering some fire protection. It will be bolted down to concrete inside a closet where there would be almost no room for someone to try and use pry-bars on it.
Is there another safe I should be looking at in the $1,000-$1,400 price point?
Mechanical or electronic lock?
Safe thread?
Fire protection really isn't that relevant. If you have a barn burner your guns will be dead. It would only come into play if you had a small fire and manged to suppress it early.

Those look nice but by the time you get one that's large enough to fit my guns and leave room for some growth it's already more expensive than a normal safe.
Any thoughts on the Arex Rex Zero1? Seems like a rock solid Sig clone for half the price and with a good trigger.

I like that it has a separate decocker and safety. That is a unique feature.

had a rep swing through the store i work at. shot a full mag through it. very slick gun. it's definitely on my list to buy.
Sometimes when we go innawoods, there are some pretty nice views, but I've held off on taking photos because some of us are (legally) carrying rifles. I live in a pretty left leaning suburb, so they're not really "common".
My biggest fear is that I may end up getting robbed, as a result of showing my powerlevel. I don't even share any range clips as well.
b-bump
>>31771437
You can take pictures of scenery without your gun being in the shot, you know
>>31771437
>get robbed
>for having something that can be used for killing robbers
Has such a level been reached were men destroy their enemies by accending above the war around them?
For Example: Apocalypse Now, the Colonel practically turns a tribe against the US and Vietnam/Cambodia. I know it's just a movie but we always hear stories of fighting forces that practically serve themselves and the highest power in the land.

No, unless other people are around...
Recent aquisitions? Just bought a remington 1911 R1. Also FUCK illinois waiting period. I bought this gun tonight and have to wait till friday after ot gets transfered to my local FFL
Bump with my last hunt
>>31771083
>bought a remington 1911 R1
Why? Remington might make one of the worst 1911s around. Mine had Ftf, stovepipes, and fte's all over the place. Well beyond the break-in period even. And the rear sights were always falling off even with loctite. I flipped mine and got a much better working Ruger 1911 for roughly the same price. I might have just got a bad 1911r1, but other people having these issues leads me to think otherwise.
Sorry to break this to you my dude.

In other words..a 1911
It's my first gun and I was thinking of selling it a buying something nice in a similar price range that I can actually conceal. Am I fag for not wanting to keep it?

No, sell it. Preferably to some fudd who you can rip off.
i got a mossy 500 with a second barrel from a raffle once, but i owned exactly that (i just bought tickets to support a good cause, my baby niece has leukaemia) and sold that. Im still sitting on that cash to buy a new gun.
Looted off one of these babies off a dead blue dude, and hid it from the Commissar. Now, does anyone have experience with these strange Xenos weapons?

Hey /k/ I need a quick advice tip.
I mounted an Aimpoint pro patrol optic on a rifle awhile back and tightened the torque knob to two clicks. I want to dismount this scope and put it on another rifle of mine. Problem with the scope is the knob is too tight to unscrew in the opposite direction. Any advice?

Jerry Miculek, Brian Enos, Ben Stoeger if I had pick three well known for performance shooters, Jerry Miculek being way and far ahead of the rest.

Would it be possible for an aircraft to fullfill the role of both a bomber (B) and a transport aicraft (C)?
>inb4 "ac-130"
I'm thinking of a carpet bomber, that would also hopefully be able to deploy missiles, with an alternate loadout of some paratroopers or a light vehicle.
Short answer: no.
>carpet bomber
Outdated, inefficient at killing, too costly to employ, too much collateral damage, unneeded.
The closest thing to what you are asking is Blackhawks/Ospreys able to switch between troop transport or gunship duty. Doing it with a fixed wing aircraft would be dumb for so many reasons.
>>31770418
>too much collateral damage
that's where you're wrong, kiddo
>>31770163
It's technically possible, but it is a bad idea. Cargo aircraft are extremely useful. Trying to press them into a combat role is simply a waste. But then again, the AC-130 is probably the exception to that rule, but even then you need to be extremely careful about where you deploy it. If it runs into an unfriendly fighter jet, it is toast.
