Ok, so I bough this at a gun store for $100 without knowing jack shit about it, but I thought it would be cool and a nice display piece at the very least.

A 20 gauge shell fits in perfectly, so what caliber ball does it fire? where can I get an appropriate mold, etc.

Also, what would be considered a "full load" for such a gun? what would be a reduced load I could fire that would still actually fire the ball?

20ga is .615 diameter.

So...less than that + a patch. .6 or .610? I don't know, hopefully someone else does.

Is there any proof marks or manufacturer info on it?

You got yourself a flintlock repro.
Are there any brand markings anywhere?
Pietta? Pedersoli? Uberti? Jukar?

If there are you can approximate the appropriate load of black powder.
If you really want to fire it is suggest 20 grains, I can't see anything explode with 20 grains of black powder.
As for ammunition, here's the beauty of a smoothbore flintlock. You can load it with shot as well as round balls if you felt like it.
Just press a tight was over the powder, seat your ammo of choice, pack another wad and you have a short barreled shotgun, all without a tax stamp.
If you wan to know the actual caliber I'd suggest finding the model first.

Hi /k/,
My friend is currently stuck living in a major metropolitan city (read: no guns or cc) and there have recently been a string of muggings at knifepoint in his area. Like six in a day last Thursday, including one just half a block from his apartment building. Being the upstanding citizen that he is, he doesn't want to get anybody's doggo killed by illegally carrying. Since he doesn't have any experience with knife work or martial arts I recommended that he carry bear mace with him for self defense purposes. What are the do's and don'ts of bear mace? What brands are good? How much should one carry? What's the best way to train with bear mace? Pic semi-related, but imagine a knife-wielding nog instead of a bear.

DONT Spray yourself

Since it's bear mace and not regular mace, any brand is good, and carry 1 bottle, it's not like you're going up against a bear in a city.
Point and shoot is the best way to train with mace.

I'm interested in quality, cheap handguns. I'm going to buy a 9mm sometime this week and I'm leaning towards a Glock due to their cost and ease of finding parts.
