Are these CZs any good for plinking, critter hunting and range fun /k/?
I want to get a similar set up.

/r/CZFirearms seems to think so :^)

They're quite alright, beats the fuck out of a Nagant.

Your obsession with that model is really creepy
A reminder that fictional films made by James Cameron are used as evidence by politicians before they vote.
>"The governments meeting in Geneva took an important step toward stemming the development of killer robots, but there is no time to lose," said Steve Goose, arms director of Human Rights Watch, a co-founder of the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots. "Once these weapons exist, there will be no stopping them. The time to act on a pre-emptive ban is now."
>If we don't get a ban in place, there will be an arms race. And the end point of this race will look much like the dystopian future painted by Hollywood movies like The Terminator."

What interests me is how / where they would draw the line with such a law - quite a few new missiles and bombs could be considered "killer robots" - the GBU-53 SDB II can be lobbed at a moving convoy and it'll make the decision to take out the lead vehicle. An LRASM will automatically avoid radar sites, ID ships and target things like the ship's bridge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h449oIjg2kY

implying the us, china and russia will give a shit
And he is 100% right. Sauce, I have a degree in electronics engineering and have personally programmed mobile robots with algorithms to actively explore and map out an area (and picture analysis algorithms were heavily implemented there) and am aware that they are pretty darn close to Terminator tier robotics. Same moral problems as those encountered with programmed self-driving cars would be encountered. How do you quantify value of person X's life and value it against the quantified value of person Y's life? That's how robots operate. Variables are fed into a computer and a result is gotten from it.
What is your BOB? This one has good reviews, and is moderately priced.

I have an ILBE, you can find them used on Ebay for cheap.
>>32363879
hmmm, I've been on the fence about milsurp. It's the cheapest gear they can get, and the Marines aren't exactly known for being comfy...
Have you worn it for an extended period of time?.
>>32363897
ILBE's far surpass the Army's shitty rucksack. Legitimately the only equipment Marines get that's always better than soldiers'
Whats are you thoughts on the Ruger Scout Rifle?
I'm in the market for a good .308 with iron sights and the option of optics and this seems to fit the bill.
Any issues with this rifle?
Owners, anything you would change about it?
I never abuse this term, but the "scout" rifle is literally a meme. $1100 for one is asking too much.
>>32363834
not worried about price. my buddy is an FFL that lets me buy stuff at cost.
>>32363859
Then buy better stuff at cost.

So basically we have posters from all the spectrum of knowledge and confidence ? Sounds about right. We have anything from 'Russia stronk' to guys talking about the inner workings of equipment in detail. Obviously we're on 4chan, so 99% of comments are baits and shouldn't even be taken seriously, just like yours.
Could Finland have won the Winter War if it had, say, ten modern howitzers?
>>32363140
Wait, Finland lost?
>>32363180
They were close to full collapse when the peace treaty was signed.
>>32363180
They lost territory like Karelia and didn't get it back.

Have any of you guys had any field experience with the Springfield XD9? A good gun for it's price, it competes with the M&P Shield 9mm? I've been trying to get a cheap handgun for HD and CCW. Is it any good?
Here's a dabbing peanut.

Nobody has
>>32362890
Do you have a budget?
Get a Glock!
Barry on Iraqveteran8888 said it was a very good gun, it's really just preference. #ripbarry
If you want to rely on a safety button, go Shield. The XDs has a grip safety so it'll only fire if you're holding it. No other safety but your trigger discipline. The old Shield models didn't have a rail for light/laser, but the new Mod does. I've shot it, it shoots accurate, not much recoil. Get a Glock, but if it's not in your budget then the XD9 is a good, strong gun. Good for cold/wet weathers, very popular on the market too. I like it.
>>32362890
the xd is literally unsafe mechanically. get a glock you giant fag.
Are gripens good?
>>32362785
No, people use them for a laugh
It's the Rafael's less competent sibling. Like how Venus is always the worse Williams sister.

Good. The indomies are getting it, and Singapore is getting F35s late game.
Could it be true ???

Hello /k/ Brit here, this knife is my home defense and I have other things like a crowbar and a hammer but I really like the style of this knife and how it feels in my hand.
Are there any "tactical" knives that are like this I can buy? Even though I love this knife it's still a kitchen knife and I need something similar but just better.
Also yes I put the electrical tape round the handle to make it more tactical but it's not enough
