I'm making a game, what guns should I add?
>Inb4 every reply is Mosin
I've already got that, along with ARs, AKs, SCARs, 1911s, Glocks, 870s etc. Don't say the obvious.
LaFrance M16K
Unique enough that it can be distinguished from the everyday m4.
>doesn't say what kind of game it is
>doesn't say what time period or setting
>gives no fucking information whatsoever
>literally just asks "guns pls??"
Go fucking google shit yourself, you mouthbreathing idiot. We're not your parents.

What does /k/ think of the HK45? I kinda want it for my CCW. Held one recently and wow, did it feel good in my hand.
Get the compact
>>32355136
I held that one too, didn't feel as nice. It's like the difference between a Beretta 92 and 92 Compact. My hands are just too big for babby pistols.
>>32355127
Why the HK45? Why not other HKs in 45 like the USP? Why HK as a brand?
Seeking to buy my first deer rifle. I have a few constraints.
>.308 Win
>Bolt action
>Iron sights optional. Drill and tap for scope not optional
>less than $550
I'm thinking the Mossberg Patriot, I've heard good things about it. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Patriot is fine.
>>32355051
I like my Ruger american in .308
Patriot is a great rifle, my son got his first deer this year with it. he is shooting 1 inch groups at 150 yards no problem.
Spending part of my xmas bonus on a multitool.
Needs
>be able to cut .030 welding wire
>be durable
Wants
>black color
>replaceable cutters
>cheap (i dont want to spend $100 unless it really is worth it, but dont mind spending if it is a non diminishing return)
Heres what i was thinking about so far, but i have to admit that I am not as well read on multitools as i am on guns and knives.
Pls help
>>32354927
So far, the rebar is looking like the best option, but i dont really know shit.
>>32354927
Can't go wrong with Wave. Black coating really sucks dick and gets scratched off. It clashes with the rests of quality, kind of funny.
>>32354975
Do you think that the waves cutter will hold up cutting steel welding wire?
Its pretty thin (.030 about the thickness of 1/4 of a coathanger) wire, but i do a lot of welding for work and clip the wire 10 times a day or so.
The replaceable cutter blades on the rebar were a plus for me.
But if the wave is better and the cutter will hold up to cutting steel welding wire, im not opposed to spending the extra $25
Why is it that less than 50 years ago firearm ownership and participation was completely normal and regularly a topic of discussion, while nowdays if you mention anything to do with firearms most of society thinks your a paranoid gun owner who will shoot up a school?
>>32354664
School shooting autists, the pussification of America, and the globalist brain-washing of the media from every approach.
>>32354664
Same reason less than 50 years ago pic related would get pointed and laughed at, but now you must repect their pronouns.

All those fudd guns and then BAM: automag
Is /k/ on the stand? I am.
Slept in and slipped in mid-morning to take advantage of the mid-day golden hours, the incoming storm and the lack of pressure today.

What will M1911s be like in 2111?
Extinct
>>32354034
Still in use, by hipsters.
/k/ommandos in 2016 still own cap and ball guns, or faithful leaf-springed Colt SAA reproductions. Old S&W wheelguns are sought after. M1919s go for tens of thousands of dollars.
Laser guns ain't shit. They don't cause the same kind of (wicked) damage on target as a ballistic projectile or store the same volume of potential energy in as small a package as a cartridge.
I don't even like 1911s.
A couple of faggot companies will start putting "space age" alloys into the frames and Glock will try to update the GAP. The owners will not let them change much. They're like even shittier Porsche fanatics.

>options that cost 2x the base product
So I had an early Christmas Eve party with the family yesterday and accidentally triggered a Vietnam flashback in my uncle.
The whole conversation started with my cousin and I talking about the average /k/ shit. My cousin was telling my uncle what guns he used to hunt with this season and my uncle mentioned something about Vietnam so not thinking I asked him how the guns he was issued over there were because of the infamous JAM16 meme and my uncle replied saying "you lose interest in guns when have to kill people" It's hard to respond to something like that. That must have triggered the memory because then he started talking about the listening posts. He didn't start freaking out or anything but his demeanor changed. He started talking about setting up listening posts on the Ho Chi Minh trail and how they'd stay there for days without moving so they could listen for enemy transports and patrols. They had to calculate how fast they were moving and stuff like that so they could drop the bombs. After a couple days they'd get picked up by a helicopter and do it all over again. He was calm but you could see in his eyes when he talked about it that he was remembering some bad times.
So what are some flashbacks or just general /k/ stories you have from family?
>>32354027
Suffering from PTSD myself, your story sounds very familiar. Getting triggered means my thoughts focus on particular events, and i start annyoing everyone around me with stories. Kinda creepy as i can't do anything against it.
I never understood that "you lose interest in guns when you have to kill people" thing tho, maybe it's because he was in Vietnam and somehow knew that his cause was not just. My interest in guns really just started after i had to shoot at people, intending to kill them as they wanted to kill me.

>PTSD
The most overhyped and overdiagnosed "disorder" next to ADHD. Being a childish pussy who is unwilling to cope and adapt to situations isn't a disease of the brain, but of the soul. Spiritual weakness is the worst stain that a man can put on his character.
people get PTSD from tripping on a rock in Afghanistan, nobody cares about this fake illness anymore
What is the greatest melee weapon ever devised, and why is it the bat'leth?

I've been meaning to get tech sights and one of those metal upper heat shields, but just keep forgetting to get around to it. That's all I'll ever do to mine, although I have since put on a Strike Hard Gear buttstock clip pouch.
Any lefties on here ever switched the safety around?
Why haven't prices gone down /k/? The election is over, we're safe now. Why the fuck are companies still charging $600+ for WASRs and NPAPs?
because CTRs on both sides scared people into buying stuff they never needed.
>>32353636
Because the prices don't go down once they go up and they realize people will willingly pay those prices. If the electoral college does in fact elect Trump there won't be as many people rushing out to buy firearms so rather than slash prices they'll slow down production.
Add inflation and the increase of interest rate to the mix, you will not see significantly low prices any time soon.
I've been saying this for years, this is the fault of panic buyers and the gun community does it to itself.
>>32353636
$600 for a WASR is down from what it was during panic. Inflation has pretty much made $500-600 the price of entry level AR or AKs. Add in the ongoing Russian sanctions really diminishing the amount of available AKs which will drive remaining AK prices up.
Things are getting slowly better. I'm seeing .22lr actually on store shelves again and no gun stuff being perpetually out of stock.
I assume that after Trump gets actually sworn in you will see a large dump of ARs as the holdout hoarders breathe a final sigh of relief. AK prices might slightly drop to match, and could drop further if EO sanctions get repealed.
Give it 3 months. Things will be better not worse.
