Tell me about it. I got 98 in the ASVAB and passed all the physicals just fine...but when it came to that fucking hearing test I got permanently disqualified just because I couldn't hear the low frequency beeping sounds.

Space coast meetup time: short notice edition
Wasn't originally going to post a thread.

>Also, post pics of previous Florida meetups.
First for previous meet was alright with the exception of a single person who served better as laugh-at-not-with comedic relief than as a functioning member of a Siamese sketch sharing safe space.
Intended application is PDW for SHTF. Don't care how much it'll cost, my life is at stake.
What other red dots exist today that come close?
>>32381994
Is pic related any good?
>>32382107
Fuck that, they don't even specify the battery life. Plus, a USB port on a fucking red dot? Thanks but no thanks.

CompM4 and PRO mount is kind of dildos
Buy H1/2 T1/2 for smaller profile lighter weight and less xboxhueg mount solution
When: January 13th - 15th
Where: Taladega National Forest
Why: To shoot, drink, and post dank memes.
So a few updates since last week.
Apparently Sandy Sandy Shooting Range will be too small for the projected number of people interested, so we will either need to make do or select another one of the shooting ranges within the national forest to shoot at.
The Jewgle Doc I promised is up and can be found here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NmkANaZHoF2-kAu2lmbkoZkzAF2Q9rZ_HnNkJ78xQm0/edit#gid=0
A few notes on that. What I'm trying to do with this is make it so everyone can easily see what other people need and can help each other out if they're so inclined. It also allows me to get a more accurate count of people who are actually serious about going and what I need to try and provide. If you want to be in the groupme when I make it, which I would highly recommend if you plan on carpooling, then just shoot me an email with your phone number.
A few things I forgot to mention in the last thread (but its on the google doc) is things to make sure you have.
- Water
- Toilet paper
- Food and beer
- Ammo
- Sleeping and camping gear
- Rain gear (you never know with Alabama)
This is really just a general list to help people not forget anything, but water would definitely be the biggest since we will be a t a primitive camp site with no toilet access and no running water. That shouldn't be a problem if you're not a limp wristed fagit.
Any questions please post in the thread or email me, that's why I'm here.
Rules
These are all pretty self explanatory since everyone will be grown ass adults.
- Safety (I cannot fucking stress this enough)
The last thing I need is having to take an anon to the hospital because he/she was acting retarded.
- Nothing illegal
I'm more referring to sketchy unregistered stuff here. If you're bringing it please bring paperwork to show an LEO if they decide to roll up. Nobody is going to be policing everyone to make sure its all "muh ATF compliant" but its in the interest of future meets.
- If you're bringing alcohol just don't be handling firearms afterwards, also no driving etc.
- Be courteous to each other
Get a bunch of socially awkward tards in a group and hand them guns, whats the worst that could happen? But in all seriousness if you're being a dick or causing trouble you will be asked to leave. I know its possible everyone can get along AND have a good time.
- Worst news yet, no tannerite or tracers. National forest regulation
Here's the links for the different ranges for everyone to browse.

http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/alabama/recreation/otheractivities/recarea/?recid=30133&actid=106
Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of trying out any of these 3 ranges so really its based on where there is a large enough campsite. I will try to scout it out before, but if any streloks have some good info please, let a nigga know.
Please note the $3 charge per vehical for range access and be prepared with that in cash.
I don't wuite know what campsite to choose yet because I do not have a solid estimate of warm bodies and cars, but be prepared to factor that into the cost as well.
The Talladega NF fee page can be found here http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5413722.pdf
Things that are really needed
- Targets (be it stands, steel, paper, whatever you can spare to bring)
- Spare disposable earplugs for those that forget theirs.
- Camp chairs (everyone should bring their own, but there's always that one guy)
Another piece of news from the last thread, tripfag Gio was nice enough to start designing a patch for the meet. However an alternative suggestion of the same design on a challenge coin was made as well, currently interest for the pacth is winning out.
Here it is in all it's glory, all credit goes to Gio.
However' if anyone could tweek the colors, maybe try out a different color scheme or a more realistic color scheme I'd like to see that.
As soon as I get a workable design with the right colors then I'll put the order in, although there's no guarantee it will make into my hands by the meet.
I have two questions:
Does anyone know if Vector Arms V93s are made out of new or used surplus parts?
Whats the cheapest .357 (NOT .38) revolver on the market?
>>32377856
I can answer your question about the .357.
First of all, the obvious choice is to buy used. A used revolver will be much better than a new cheap one. I recommend Ruger, but old Smiths are fine too. Especially, look for old police revolvers.
Now, if you live in an area like me and no one fucking sells good cheap used revolvers, your best choice is probably the EAA Windicator. You should be able to find it for just under $300. You can choose a 2" or 4" barrel (and .357 in 2" barrel is retarded because reasons, it's actually just as weak as .38spl without the extra barrel room to speed up)
>>32377856
>>32377949
You might be able to find a Taurus or Rossi .357 around the same price point, but the EAA Windicator is much more reliable according to most gun reviewers.
What kind of gun should you keep in your car? Like, let's say, hypothetically, you end up in some kind of tactical situation (as-in greater force necessary than your average self-defense) and you need to get back to your car to defend yourself? What is in your car to fallback on?
I mean, how bad could birdshot hurt?
>>32371830
Can't be too bad, raspberries are delicious
good luck with the fucking lawsuit and medical coverage. Should have used hollowpoint anything.
Get 50 pellet rifles and make 50 people shoot them at you all at once
What psychological traits do special forces screening generally approve of, and what traits do they generally disfavor?
No aspies allowed, my condolences OP.
they screen for people who shitpost on 4chan. sorry anon
What kind of porn is a nogo?
I like the foot stuff. Can I like foot stuff and still be SOF? Or should I swap fetishes?
I can switch from feet to armpits in a little over a week, but I need to know beforehand.
What are the most and least useful military branches, respectively?
If they were least useful they wouldn't exist
Even Chaplains sort things like welfare issues
Most useful is the navy, because power projection.
Least useful is the air force, just because the other three services already have aircraft.

@3:55
Anyone got any experience with these guys? Serving alongside them or even actually being a Legionaire?
>>32393361
i hear that theres no actual frenchmen in the legion which sounds like a plus
unfortunately you have to speak frog so maybe its all just BS
>>32393371
I just checked their website (might try to go there if I'm not taken elsewhere), french dudes can go, registered like a foreigner. They can even get a new identity.
Officers are all french though.
Don't waste 5 years going just to get your face punched and a "merci" for a country that doesn't give a shit about itself and especially not about you.
7 years ago I would've said yes, 5 I would've said do it, the last 4 I would trade both my testicles just to get all those back and do anything else.
There is nothing to fight for here, France is no longer France and the legionnaires are no longer brothers, budget cuts are also killing the legion.
Do yourself a favor, go join your own military or do something useful with your life, don't throw it down the drain for a dream that will be a nightmare that you can't wake up from for 5 years.

>lolsup.rpg
You're confusing 7 story tall mechas with a powersuit OP.
Its still a bad idea for obvious reasons though.
Its never been "unrealistic" Its a matter of it being practical.
SHALL
>>32390270
NOT
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Jews are somehow at fault for this.
M4 vs M16
16in car vs 20in rifle.
Guys, I think I want to get a AR15 with a 20in barrel and adjustable stock.
are these practical. IDK, but I always preferred the musket even when I was in the Army.
>>32390136
well that was uncalled for.
anyways, I think I've come to the conclusion that I like the adjustable stocks, and prefer hand guards to rails.
>>32390092
They fire bullets and are pretty reliable. Of course they're practical.
>>32390092
If you're going with a memescopic stock, get an 18" barrel. With m195, the difference between a 20" barrel and an 18" is only 9fps, but the difference in weight is far more significant.
Plus you'll still be able to use rifle gas with an 18" for your babby shoulder
16" is kinda lame and cuckish, slightly worse than an 18 but still long. Either go for a 14.5 and get something pinned, or go sbr/pistol route
what are the downsides of obrezing?
>>32389919
illegal and cannot use rifle as rifle anymore
>>32389919
Nosebleeds and headaches if you use it too much
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
What does /k/ have to offer? What should I get next?
