Is muh training the biggest meme joke in the entirety of gun culture?
Hardcore wannabe tactical "instructors" and trainers think that every limitation or reaction is all about training. Do people not understand how much they think they'll do goes out the window in a scenario when you have to actually use your gun?
These people suck the fun out of everything
Pic obviously related
>>32689920
You need training.
>>32689920
Training that costs hundreds or thousands of dollars? Yes. Training that is mostly free outside of ammo to build muscle memory and comfortability with your (insert gun brand)? No. If your muscle memory is good enough then it doesn't matter what your brain thinks, your body will do it automatically.
Formal training is marginally useful at best relative to dedicated individual practice. Mostly the people who spew that shit are trainers who, you know, have a financial interest.
I'm getting sick of this hype from the shills about this monstrosity of a firearm
If you can even call it that.
This is going to end up just like the magpul ACR and we will see all the butthurt deja vu from it. Cap this if you want but it's going to be shit.

- Were ww1 veterans shunned like vietnam veterans in the 70s?

- Why so few memoirs written by French soldiers was it banned by the authorities to write about the war?

Probably. Doesn't help that the vast majority of guys with real stories to tell probably died innatrenches before they ever had the chance.
>>32689821
Not so much shunned but not necessarily understood. Many didn't understand the mental damage.
>- Why so few memoirs written by French soldiers was it banned by the authorities to write about the war?
other than Louis Barthas PouiIo am not aware of any in English
hello /k/omrads,
let me preface this post by saying everything that I know about guns I have learned from Counter-Strike. I have the opportunity to purchase a gun from a co-worker that I have worked with for over 5 years now. he's very pressed for cash and needs to pay down the debt that he owes.
He has offered me his never been fired Arsenal Arms SAM7SF-84R with ten 30 round mags and 1000 hollow point rounds for the sum of $400.
I am considering purchasing it with the intent of reselling it as quickly as possible for profit. However, it appears that buds gun shop does not buy Arsenal Arms rifles, so idk how or where I would sell it. I'm pretty sure it is an insanely good deal, as the MSRP on the rifle alone is $1499.
Care to grace me with your wisdom?
Sincerely,
a /fit/izen
Make sure it Shoots. Take it to a range tip make sure Its not your thing. If it's not you could sell it on armslist. If you want you could sell it to me.
>>32689812
We live in Lexington KY so we were going to go to buds so I can put a couple rounds through it first
>>32689795
sell it on armslist
and you are a lucky retard. you should just keep it.
buy some milsurp steel mags for it though.

Assault weapon just means scary looking

Might as well put in the work find the real deal because no one is just going to sell the bolts alone. Seriously, Who at FN thought this was a good idea?
The point is fire-team based suppressive fire.
Also OP is a faggot.
>>32689428
>>Seriously, Who at FN thought this was a good idea?
They already churn out fucktons of the parts so the cost is cheap, only retards with too much money wouldn't hesitate to buy them.
Make a few thousand dollars using a few parts you already churn out thousands of for pennies? Sounds like a great idea

this

What make better tactical vehicles?
American agencies seem to have a love affair with black suburban utility vehicles, but aren't vans better for tactical applications?

only vans with sliding doors

slanging dope is pretty close
I worked a few seasons on a crab ship in the Bering sea. That was pretty close. When you've only slept for 6 hours in the past 3 days and youre on meth to keep yourself awake trying to pull in your last string of pots in 15 foot seas and a you hear the skipper yell over the speaker to hold on tight right as a rogue wave smashes into the blindside the ship, the adrenaline can pump pretty fast.
Still, its not quite on the level of a good ol fashioned firefight. There's just something about knowing that someone is actively trying to kill you and feeling the distortion of the air pressure that a bullet makes when it passes within inches of you that gives you an adrenaline rush that is unmatched by anything else in the world. I miss that feeling more than anything.
The closer you live to death the more alive you feel.
Reasons why I'm sold that the LCP is the best CCW weapon.
1. Ultra compact, meaning you'll almost never have attire you can't conceal the weapon in.
2. Super comfortable while concealing.
3. .380 round is very controllable.
4. Selecting a good quality +p nets you the same stopping power as a standard 9mm.
5. Cheap to purchase.
6. Very reliable.
I have concealed a variety of weapons. And the LCP takes the cake.
>>32689169
That plastic thing is going to explode after 50 rounds of +p ammo
>>32689169
There is no real 380 +p use at your own risk.
Never shoot +p out of a subcompact. Actually, do it and post pics after it blows up.

> Dopaminergic Decarboxylation
>http://article107news.com/pentagon-issues-shocking-poncho-liner-recall-well-loved-woobie-now-banned/
I could not fully understand
> Dopaminergic Decarboxylation
Anyone able to explain it like im 5..
Question is, does it cause a health risk or something to have one?
DOPA decarboxylase synthesizes important neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin. The catecholamine biosynthetic pathway was first characterized from the enzyme DOPA decarboxylase (Christenson et al., 1972). Highly purified preparations from guinea pig kidneys were used to find DOPA decarboxylase acts in both serotonin and dopamine pathways through its ability to decarboxylate all the naturally occurring aromatic amino acids (Christenson et al., 1972). However, its physiological function in the kidneys and liver is still unknown (Krieger et al., 1991). Early research used drosophila as an animal model to understand the different forms of the enzyme dopa decarboxylase (AADC) produced in specific tissues. The ADDC mRNA of the hypodermis is not the same as the AADC mRNA found in neurons. Krieger et al. (1991) has demonstrated that two mRNA AADC differ in their 5’ untranslated region. The enzyme is of great interest to researchers, because the body’s inability to regulate serotonin and dopamine levels causes many diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease (PD).
The last sentence is the tl;dr

Pretty sure my phone has aids now from clicking on that. Alternatively it's satire. Dopamine is your brains natural reward system.
