It's obvious his gear checks get a little Texas chainsaw massacre.

I bet the guy's a lot of fun but probably just likes to hear himself talk. He must make good money because in videos with his wife you can tell she's not into anything he says. She's probably fucking someone else.

Everyone knows the type, no boundaries and just wants to impose himself on you to satisfy his ego.

Looks like the type of guy that'll just wake up one morning and eat a bullet out of the blue.

I want to enlist in the United States Marine Corp and my recruiter wants me to go to meps within this month. I'm a bit nervous, that when I take the Asvab I wont score high enough to get the MOS that I'm interested in.I'm really interested in both intel and recon. The whole obtaining of information seems very interesting to me. So basically do you guys have any advice for me when going to meps?

Dress nice. I did it to kiss ass and it made MEPS a million times easier.
Generally treat the whole thing as a day long interview, be respectful, etc.
Be prepared to wait a long time.
What job within intel are you looking into specifically?

Shit that triggers your autism? For me it's doughy, boy hands in Youtube gun videos. Am I crazy? Also, videos that are 10-minutes of talking with camera pointed at gun on a table. I guess same goes for 90% of the shit on Youtube.

My inner racist was pleasantly surprised.

So I'm diving into the new issue of Firearms News and one of their featured articles involves a new Ruger Redhawk 8-shot .357 wheelgun. What do we know about it so far?

What I know for sure is...
>It has both double and single actions
>capacity of 8
>2.75" barrel, 8.25" overall weighing 2.76lbs
>Altamont Hardwood Round Butt
>Adjustable sights
>MSRP is close to $1.1k

Seems kinda pricey for a snubnose desu, even if you get 2-3 more shots than the competition.
>>
>>32692679
From what I read in the article I would tend to agree for one major reason: it isn't recommended for CC but says it could be managed with a shoulder rig. The article instead suggests it would make a "formidable nightstand gun" with the "understanding" you'd go deaf firing it in an enclosed space like a bedroom.

o/k/ I'm curious, why if White Phospohrous can be used " to illuminate targets and create smokescreens, saying "It is not a chemical weapon. It is an incendiary. And it is well within the law of war to use those weapons as they're being used, for marking and for screening"

Why can't we use flamethrowers as well to clear brush that may or may not have enemy combatants in it?

I wasn't aware we couldn't. Last I checked we just phased flamethrowers out because there are more effective solutions to dealing with the same problems.
>>
>>32692560
Because they're ineffective and expensive.

And yes, we (America) still have flamethrowers in our current inventory for that exact purpose.

Sup /k/. So all my niggas want to get Dracos and AR pistols now, but I want to up their game. I want a REAL NATO 7.62x51mm pistol, what do you recommend?

I've had my eye on a DSA SA-58 PKP 8.25" .308 WIN pistol for a long while, but I want to know if it's /k/ recommended or not. Mostly will be a range pistol but also for a truck/car gun just in case I need to go "hunting".

>>
>>32692461
If you want a truck gun I would go with an intermediate cartridge for controllability. Something like a Draco or AR pistol would be best. You may want to also consider a sig brace.
>>
>>32692461
7.62 NATO in a pistol is stupid as fuck and DSA sucks dick.

Stop keeping guns in your cars you fucking idiots.

Leave the guy be. He's just a masochistic recoil junkie. Also, this looks pretty lulz.

Theoretically speaking what would happen if I took a 38special and licked the head of the bullet with exposed lead on it?

What would happen healthwise?

So often when I'm out hunting duck I'll run into the odd grouse on the way to a different pond.

Me and my buddy usually camp while we hunt so it would be nice to take these birds as we see them cause they're fucking delicious.

Problem I have though is I can't shoot them with my shotgun because it is far too loud and will ruin our chances of sneaking up on some quakers

So I'm thinking of using a co2 pistol for shooting the birds and still staying super quiet.

I'd like a semi auto Co2 pistol capable of shooting hunting pellets at lethal velocities for grouse, do you fellas have any good ideas???

I know literally nothing about air pistols or hunting but Pyramyd air looks to make some good ones
>>
>>32691885
I'd always suggest a break rifle unless you are pretty confident in your pistol skills at the ranges you see them at.
Also, co2 pistols are weak and I'm not sure if you'll do more than injure it and watch it run off, then die later.
>>
>>32691941
They're really docile and I often see them at about 7 yards or even less, I mean I'm not set on using Co2 I just like them.

Would maybe going with a pump air pistol be better ? I hear some get up to 500 fps

Can you tell me about your local ranges, Anon? I'm interested in things like how much you pay for membership at your range, rental rates, any stories you have about your range, etc.

I have a few in my area I'm thinking of joining but the pricing, etc. seems really different for each of them as well as what they offer. One range has a bare-bones membership for $30 a year and a full membership at about $250 a year but has poor reviews. Another range more accessible to me has their membership start at $400 a year and seems to offer a bit more but has no reviews. Most of the ranges near me have no online reviews( blue-collar/redneck area ) so I'm hoping hearing other anons talk about their ranges will help me figure out what to look for.

Image semi-related: it is part of a gun range but not local to where I am.

I'm a new shooter and have gone to a local range and one of the big reasons I had so much fun was the range officers had to be some of the nicest guys around. They were perfect at their job. they taught, they accommodated for me and my friend being complete rookie shooters, and they were serious when they had to be.

look for good personnel at the range and that will help a lot.
>>
The closest range to me
>Anywhere from $500 to $1000 a year for membership
>Different levels grant different perks (free rentals, discount on ammo, guests, free transfers, preferential range treatment)
>40 yrd indoor range that can take anything I can shoot
>Offers rentals
>Has super ritzy feel, like I wouldn't be surprised to find someone who will wipe your ass in the bathroom for you

Second closest to me
>$350-500 a year for membership (preferential range treatment, guests allowed)
>Has a very large range of rentals
>Very large and not overpriced gun store attached (I actually shop the store itself all the time)
>25 yrd range that allows .308 at max
>Range officers are a little on edge since some guy managed to hero themself about a year ago

Third option (the one I use)
>Membership or guests only
>$50/year +$50 first year initiation fee
>$50/year guest pass
>Membership can take awhile to officially process but you get a temp card immediately
>Must supply own guns/ammo/targets (no shop attached)
>RO's are all volunteers and not always present
>Member maintained (so at times is run down)
>Longest range is 100yrds outdoor (only thing not allowed is 50bmg)
>Has events that close down the range every other weekend during the summer
>Has a thing against 1895 Lee Navy rifles
>>
damn high prices...I paid $15 USD for a lifetime membership and $15 per visit with one free target and unlimited time on the line. Pistol, rifle and shotgun/skeet ranges all in one place for one payment of 15

Would you pay money to go to a VR arcade where you shot guns with blanks while you fought enemies in your headset? Could be AI or other players, not sure yet. You'd be responsible for physically aiming the gun, reloading while keeping empty mags, and clearing jams when they arise.

double your(assuming that you are dutch) current amount of Patriot batteries and stockpile 4 launchers is pisspoor, even for a europoor country.
I suggest you guys get either between 50 and 75 leopard 2A7 or T-90MS MBTs.

I would also suggest P-3 Orions if you faggots dont have those already

Navy's current ships are fine in terms of capabilities, but increase numbers. Acquire a total of Seven of De Zeven Provincien class FFG/DDGs, and look into an actual FFG (less than 4500t) and acquire a few of those. If possible, look into getting a Helo carrier that could operate F-35Bs (Think Hyuga/Izumo, Cavour, or Juan Carlos) because of the number of NATO allies that will be flying the F-35B. Maybe look into newer subs/upgrades for the Walruses.

As for the army, more tanks. 60 Leo2A7s ought to do. A few more CV-90s wouldn't hurt either. If you are really desperate for APCs, there are plenty of M113s lying around the world that you could probably get for well under what the buyers paid.

For the Air Force, 37 F-35As is enough to do damage, but 60 is a nice, clean, non-prime number. You could also buy a few more Apaches and Reapers.
